I collected Rodney and he didn’t want to leave when I came to collect him which is a reflection of the amazing care and fuss he had received. It was like Rodney was Jades own dog and she said how she loved having him. About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a teenager, regularly walking and helping to care for my family dog from the age of 14. Since then I've had plenty of hands-on experience with dogs of different ages, personalities and energy levels. I now have my own young dog, so I'm very familiar with puppy and adolescent energy, training, enrichment and keeping curious dogs entertained! I absolutely love spending time with dogs and I'm happy to follow their individual routines around feeding, walks, play and downtime to help them feel comfortable and at home. I work from home full-time, so I'm around throughout the day to provide plenty of company, attention and toilet breaks. I already structure my day around my own dog's routine, including regular walks, playtime and enrichment. I'm available for boarding, daycare, walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, with availability shown on my calendar. I have a fenced garden and a friendly young dog who loves the company of other dogs. I only accept one household's pets at a time, so your dog will get plenty of individual attention. We're also just a minutes' walk from a grassy park, perfect for daily fetch. I have multiple rooms available, so dogs can have their own space when needed, and I'm happy to follow their usual routine around feeding, walks, sleeping and crate use.
About: I have a 9 year old black Labrador who is the family pet and have been helping my mum with doggy day care and dog boarding for over 2 years now. We’ve looked after dogs all shapes and sizes over the years ranging from puppies to mastiffs. The dogs tend to use me for my bed and cuddles! About: My love for dogs is actually a bit of a journey! I used to be scared of dogs, until I got my own dog six years ago. Since then, I’ve completely fallen in love with them and have gained lots of hands-on experience caring for my own dogs as well as looking after friends’ dogs. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs with different personalities, routines and needs, and I understand that every dog is an individual. I’m patient and attentive, and I always take the time to make sure a dog feels safe and comfortable. My partner Jack has also grown up around rescue dogs of all shapes and sizes from a very young age, so dogs have become a big part of our lives. Between us, we have plenty of experience with different breeds, temperaments and personalities. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’ll treat every dog in my care with the same love, patience and attention I give my own. Between me and my partner, one of us will always be at home, so your pet will have company and won’t be left alone for long periods. If needed, I can separate dogs using different areas of the house or crate dogs if they are already comfortable with crate training. I’ll always follow your instructions and make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable and settled during their stay. But Pricilla was amazing from day one — sent daily photos and updates which kept me sane, and Cleo actually seemed to enjoy herself. She really got Cleo's shy personality. When we picked her up she was relaxed and happy, not stressed at all, which is huge for such a nervous dog. If you need someone trustworthy for an anxious dog, go with Pricilla. Abbie was absolutely brilliant, this was the first time for me leaving my dog and she made it so much easier.
