About: I’ve had pets since I was born. I was raised with 5 dogs at home, from puppies to elderly I enjoyed training, feeding and playing with them. As a teenager I’d help my friends by going to their houses to take care of their dogs and cats and take them for walks. I’m a volunteer in a woodland forest rescuing animals and creating new habitats for them, which improves my understanding of their behaviours and needs. I don’t do boarding for pets from different households at the same time so they can feel more comfortable while away from home. If your pet has any allergies, special needs, medications or a specific routine please let me know during the booking. I’m currently back home during summer break from university so if there isn’t any plans I’m free the whole week 24/7. I got a flexible schedule to be able to adjust for shifts needed I’ve got a house with a closed and fenced garden with play and have a good time. I don’t have any pets at home but I’m free the whole time to stay with your pet.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, primarily adopted. From Collies to German Shepherds and Jack Russell’s. I’ve cared for them all from young until old. I also have experience with reptiles and small mammals. I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment and would love to be able to care for your pets. I love going on long walks, particularly places like Outwoods or Watermead. I have a car so I’m happy to come to you or take your dog out somewhere nice. I work from home, with my work schedule being quite flexible to my needs. As such I can tailor my day around different priorities, like pet care. I would be attentive, making sure they know I’m receptive to their needs, whether that’s letting them out in the garden regularly or feeding them. Playing with their toys and interacting regularly.

About: I’ve worked with dogs for over 8 years now, in a variety of different roles including a dog handler, kennel assistant and dog walker. I own 2 dogs myself, a ridgeback/rottweiler and a Labrador retriever. I’ve also worked with various dogs of all sorts of different sizes and backgrounds and believe all dogs deserve the same love and attention. As I currently work from 4:30 to 1:30 in my main job, I’ll be able to walk your dogs during the afternoon. I will offer a meet and greet initially before walking your dog, so you can get to know me a little bit and build some trust between you and me and also your dog.

About: *Available for last-minute bookings and regular weekday drop-ins* I’m really tuned into animals, so I focus on making them feel safe, calm and loved—not just “looked after.” I’ve got a 14-year-old dog, so I’m confident with senior care, slower walks and meds, and a young cat… so I’m very familiar with being politely ignored until food is involved 😄 I’ve got experience with puppies right through to seniors, and with both small and large dogs, so I’m comfortable adapting to different needs, energy levels and personalities. I’m gentle, reliable and stick closely to your pet’s routine, with plenty of updates so you know your floof is happy and settled. I’m available weekdays between school drop-off and pick-up, and I plan my day around that time so pets get consistent care and attention rather than being rushed. I keep my schedule manageable so I can be fully present, and I’m happy to arrange weekends on request where possible, though availability may vary slightly as I have a 4-year-old son. I always follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and settled, whether that’s in your home or out on walks. I take the time to understand their needs, personality and any specific instructions, including feeding, walks, medication and behaviour. I keep everything calm, secure and predictable, making sure doors, gates and spaces are safe at all times. I’m attentive to any changes in behaviour and adjust my approach to suit them, and I’ll keep you updated regularly so you can feel confident they’re happy and well cared for.

About: I have experience caring for dogs both in my own home and in their owners’ homes. While on a gap year in Melbourne, Australia, I looked after dogs in my home while their owners were away, ensuring they felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for. More recently, I regularly care for a Cockapoo in the owner’s home while they are away, maintaining their usual routine and providing plenty of attention, walks, and companionship. I also have a lovely 10-year-old Sproodle at my family home, who I have helped care for since she was a puppy. She has given me valuable experience with the day-to-day responsibilities of owning a dog, from walks and playtime to feeding and providing lots of affection. She is very friendly and gets on well with dogs of a similar size. I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors and love going for walks, so taking dogs out for exercise is something I look forward to rather than seeing as a chore. My aim is always to make every dog feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while giving owners complete peace of mind. I also have had cats ever since I was born so I am used to caring for them, including feeding, litter care, and providing affection. Further experience comes from my job. I work in home care, where tasks regularly involve caring for our customers’ pets, particularly cats and dogs. I am a Nursing student, however I am on break until October so work part time in home care. My hours are flexible so I can fit in visits around pet care, depending on how long they can be left alone and how much attention they require. I always aim to make pets feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by keeping to their usual routine. Before any booking, I like to learn about their feeding schedule, walking routine, favourite toys, any medications, and anything else that helps them feel at home. In my own home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment where dogs receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and cuddles. I never leave dogs alone for long periods and make sure they have fresh water, regular toilet breaks, and lots of company throughout the day. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I follow all instructions carefully, keep the home tidy, and make sure pets receive the same level of care and attention they’re used to. I know how important it is for owners to feel reassured while they’re away, so I’m always happy to send regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is getting on.

About: What sets me apart is how much genuine care and attention I give to every pet I look after. I understand that every animal has their own personality and needs, and I always take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Although I don’t have formal professional experience, I’ve grown up around dogs through my family, so I’m confident handling different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also have experience caring for rabbits, which has taught me patience, gentle handling, and the importance of paying close attention to behaviour and routine. I’m very reliable and organised with my time around college and work, so I can be flexible while still making sure pets get consistent care and attention. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions closely, whether that’s for feeding, walks, or general routines. Most importantly, I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure owners feel reassured with regular updates and photos while they’re away. Pet care fits really well into my daily routine. I’m currently at college, which means I have several gaps throughout the day that I can dedicate to dog walks, check-ins, or spending time with pets. I also have fairly flexible evenings and mostly free weekends, so I’m able to offer consistent care and give pets the time and attention they need. I work part-time alongside this, but I plan my schedule carefully to make sure any pets I’m looking after are always prioritised and not left alone for long periods. I enjoy being active and getting outdoors, so dog walking fits naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to adapt to each pet’s usual schedule as much as possible. When caring for pets, I always focus on making them feel as comfortable and secure as possible, whether they’re in my home or their own. In a pet owner’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine including feeding times, walks, and any specific instructions so pets feel settled and stress-free in their familiar environment. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship, and I always keep the home clean and respected. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos, so they can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: BETSIES BUDDIES canine care 🐾 Caring for your dog when you can’t 🐾 BOARDING. WALKING.DAYCARE. DROP-INS I have owned and taken care of pets for many years, from horses to dogs, rabbits to ducks. I love animals (more than people 🤭) and would make any animal feel as welcome in my home as they are in yours. 5* home from home care. I am at home all day and evening, with only the school run as a daily commitment, so your pet would never be left alone for longer than 45mins at a time. Walks are included with boarding and day care. I live in a house with a fenced off secure garden, I live closely to fields for walking and a local country park for dogs that are happy to travel a short distance in the car. I have a miniature dachshund, Rufus who is all up to date on vaccinations, flea, wormer and kennel cough. He is great with all other animals including dogs of all sizes, cats and rabbits (cats cared for on drop-ins only) I also have two small cats. I can crate your pets, if crate is provided. Your pets will be treated in my home the same way they would be treated in yours. My pets my babies so I do allow them on all furniture and allow them run of house and garden. All pets MUST be safe around my children (15,14 &4) aswell as my own fur babies.

About: Hi, my name is Sim, I'm 25 years old, I work full time but on shifts so I have a range of availability based upon my shift patterns. I've got experience in sitting and walking different breeds, and I'm a big breed lover having my own 3 at home! (3 German shepherds!) Currently I do occasionally dog sit for friends and family, typically their dogs stay over with my 3 dogs who love having friends over! So what sets me apart from other walkers and sitters? Well, I love dogs, I've had 5 years of experience (on and off), all my dogs have been adopted and rehomed - so I've worked with a variety of different dogs with different needs. Recently fostering a dog for 3 months and got her trained up before she went to her new home which she's succeeding in! I own a car so I'm happy to travel. And with your permission if you leave your dog with me over night or for a few days, I can take them to locations such as the Peak District to get some quality time in, otherwise to the local parks and nature reserves. 😁 I do have a really big garden which is fenced off. If we require use of a create then we can encourage that with your dog, we just request to provide a bed or item that your dog is currently familiar with to keep in the crate if crate time is required, we want to keep the environment as familiar as possible to help reduce anxiety. My house has multiple cameras situated throughout the property, inside and outside for peace of mind. I work full time but I work different shifts weekly but I know what I'm working well in advance, and I have my partner to lend a hand. Large garden fenced off, cameras around the house and the outside the house so we have eyes on the property at all times. But someone will always be home.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I had a Weimaraner from the age of 8 until he sadly passed away 11 years later. A year later, we rescued my little girl, Peggy, from Romania after she was found abandoned in heartbreaking circumstances. She’s now been part of our family for over two years. Peggy was sadly involved in a hit-and-run road traffic accident earlier this year, which was an incredibly difficult time for both her and my family. I was by her side throughout her recovery, giving her the patience, support and care she needed to regain her confidence and get back on her feet. I’ve also looked after my uncle’s Black Labrador, my brother’s English Bulldog, a family friend’s Vizsla and many other dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. I’m always the person who ends up on the floor playing with the dogs at family gatherings! I’m patient, caring and reliable, and I understand that every dog is different. Whether they love long walks, playing fetch or simply having someone to curl up beside, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and loved while you’re out or away. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m certainly not new to caring for dogs. I’ll care for your pet just as I would my own, and I’ll always keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you know they’re happy and in safe hands. 🐾❤️ I run my own beauty business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I always keep my availability up to date and will only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. Whether it’s dog walking, drop-in visits or house sitting, I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of care, attention and companionship while you’re away. I’ll always take the time to get to know your pet and ensure they feel happy, comfortable and well looked after. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I always aim to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, whether that’s feeding times, walks, medication or bedtime routines, to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. I’ll treat both your home and your pet with the utmost care and respect, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in safe hands.
