About: We are council licensed to home board dogs.. I've been looking after animals since I was child, coming from a family with many pets. Dogs have always been a big part of my life and currently Josie the GSD is my constant companion and we now have a Labrador puppy Hugo too. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are very welcome in our house. I have a National Diploma in Animal Management from Melton College and am training to be an IMDT Dog trainer. I am retired from the military, so have plenty of time to devote to my favourite past time of looking after animals! I can be flexible in my approach to care to fit yours and your pets requirements. We have a 6ft brick wall around our garden, making it completely safe for even the most ardent escape artist! Pets are an integral part of our family and are treated as such, given lots of love and affection and given free access to the house / furniture. I am happy to adapt to any required feeding regimes and adept at administering medication if required.

About: I’m well versed in many animal having had big dogs since I was 1, cats always in the house, many fish and my own beaded dragon. My dog now is 2 so I have very recent experience with training and taking care of young dogs as well as the needs of old dogs and cats. At the moment I am full time at the Buttercross in Oakham my shifts usually start at 5pm untill close (usually 10pm) meaning I am around all day to take care of my pets, this usually means a walk in the morning for our Weimaraner ziggy and one at lunch as well as keeping him company during the day. Wompy about cat is quite outdoorsy and like to spend most of her time outside if she’s not somewhere sleeping in a laundry basket. I have quite an anxious and reactive dog who doesn’t love to be left alone for too long. Having crate trained him since a puppy has helped him get the important rest he needs so that he is calmer though out the day. I have lots of toys and enrichment activities for him and our family cat and would be happy to entertain your dog or other animals as you need. Having had many animals during my life I’m verses in many different diets from young to old and exotic to common I’m not easily phased and am happy to follow your example with your pets to keep them happy

“I found Alicia on Rover recently when I started looking for a regular dog care person to help with my 13 year old mixed breed girlie Raka. Raka is a senior special needs dog that is extremely nervous around new people. Alicia has been so understanding of Raka’s behaviours and has been patiently working to bond with her and make her respond. Raka is also a nervous walker, and Alicia was again very receptive to my suggestions on walking Raka. I cannot recommend Alicia enough - she is caring and patient with my dog and is also highly punctual. Thank you! Don’t know what I and Raka would do without you :)”

“Amy has had our big fox red lab on several occasions now, before using Amy & Ian we would never leave him at home and go away for a night/weekend as our dogs are our babies and I didn’t want to leave him. However, Amy & Ian have changed our lives and weekends! We know we can now go away with ease knowing our boy is at home with his home comforts and Amy & Ian’s love & cuddles. Amy has gotten to know our dog, and all of his ways, so she is very quick to pick up the changes/odd behaviours if he presents with them, and give us a text or call. About: I have had animals since I was 10 years old. My family all have dogs that I have looked after in the past and I have also helped on my friends farm therefore have lots of years experience with all different animals. I am fully qualified in dog walking and pet sitting and am full insured I am currently working as a community carer but looking to take this on full time so I will be available Monday-Sunday any times so can work around you!:) My garden is fenced off and I have plenty of toys as well as a 2 year old sproodle to keep your fur baby company

About: I have looked after dogs for family members and I used to dog walk. I'd like to use this opportunity to build my experience and meet new pets! I can dog walk or check up on your pets in the evening after I finish placement. I generally work 9-5 Mon-Fri, however this could change every once in a while due to changing hospitals. I am happy to walk dogs and do drop in sessions to feed pets, top up their water or just to give them some attention and love
