About: I am a registered veterinary nurse with 6 years of experience, including 4 years serving as a veterinary nurse in the army. During this time, I worked with a wide range of dogs, including large and high-energy working dogs, giving me strong handling skills and confidence in different environments. I have experience administering medication and providing care at all stages of a dog’s life—from young puppies through to senior dogs with more complex needs. I am also trained in canine first aid, so your dog’s health and safety are always a top priority while in my care. I’m available for boarding, please contact for availability. Your pet will never be left for more than a couple of hours, so your pet will have plenty of attention and care Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully secure garden with a 6ft fence, providing a safe outdoor space for play and exercise. I also have two friendly dogs at home who are well-socialised. However, I understand that every pet is different, so I’m able to keep them separated if needed to ensure your pet feels relaxed and secure at all times. I aim to provide a calm, caring environment where your pet can feel at home while you’re away 🐾
“Hannah did a great job looking after my dog buddy. Hannah gave me regular updates and photos and he looked like he didn’t want to leave when I came to collect him. I would definitely use Hannah again if I’m in the area. Thank you! 😊”

About: I have grown up with pets since the age of 4 such as hamsters, ducks, rabbits, parrots, cats and dogs. I have also been house sitting for various neighbours and take care of their dogs, cats and guinea pigs for the past 10 years. I am currently working freelance so have a very flexible schedule to fit around your needs and availability. I am not afraid of early mornings or late nights if that what it takes to make your pet safe and happy. While I am not able to host pets at my house, if I were to stay at yours, I would ensure that your pet was looked after without disruption to their routine and would be happy to get stuck into any chores.

About: We’ve been born into family that have always had dogs and due to work commitments we are not in a position to have our own right now. That said, we are excited to find this app and be able to host a dog into our living home when available. Hard floors in our home, a secured garden, and time morning and evening to walk your dog through the surrounding fields around our villages. If your dog travels well in a car, we will take it in a longer walk in interesting places. We are both self employed and have flexible work pattern both from home and in the work place if required. We have no children and are excited to be spending time with your dog. We have fenced and secured garden and lovely countryside walks around our village. We love finding out new places to walk and with lots of space for the dogs to play with us.
“Kathryn was lovely from the start. Offered an initial meet and greet, which was lovely, ahead of a full day care day. Communication was great and Kathryn kept me updated through the day. I had one very happy and tired boy at the end. Would definitely recommend Kathryn and will definitely book her again. Thank you Kathryn 😊”

About: I have been around dogs and family pets for a long time and have a deep love for all animals. I also own a daschund who is anxious so I understand patience and how to care for smaller dogs. I currently work full time from home on the weekdays, so your dog will have plenty of attention from me! My partner is also around to help out on the weekends. I have a fenced garden and live close to fields for dog walks. Winnie loves being around other dogs but she is initally reactive due to her nature (sausage dog problems 😂), it would be great to meet beforehand to get the dogs to meet. I am happy to meet free of charge to see how they get on, I think it's important that you feel your dog is in safe hands before leaving with me.

About: I have a 9 year old black Labrador who is the family pet and have been helping my mum with doggy day care and dog boarding for over 2 years now. We’ve looked after dogs all shapes and sizes over the years ranging from puppies to mastiffs. The dogs tend to use me for my bed and cuddles! I’m currently looking for a full time remote/hybrid job after travelling for 6 months so will have plenty of time for your pups. I’m available for dog sitting and walking every day of the week at the moment. I’m very used to looking after dogs with different needs in our house and can easily accommodate for your dogs needs in the comfort of their own home.

I’m caring, patient, and I love spending my evenings curled up on the sofa with a dog for company. Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Melton
Woody had a wonderful time at David’s, who was very accommodating at such short notice. With Woody still being a puppy we were nervous about leaving him for the 1st time, but David put us at ease and gave us confidence that he would be fine. Woody had a great day and loved playing with Hugo - I don’t think he wanted to come home!! I wish I could be selfish and try to put others off booking with David by leaving a poor review, but my conscience won’t let me! David is fantastic and Woody will definitely be back!

- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in East Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
