I am currently working through a canine care, behaviour and welfare course from home. So I have plenty of time to love and care for your dogs as my main priority. Tell me all about your dog and their routine so I can create a home from home for them to feel safe and welcome and you to feel at ease that your fur baby is being loved and cared for.

Safety, trust & environment
For me, trust and safety always come first because I understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a huge decision. I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is in a loving, secure environment where they’ll be cared for as if they were my own. I have four dogs myself, ranging from 4 to 12 years old, and they’ve been around all kinds of dogs over the years. They’re gentle, friendly, playful and have met dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. They absolutely love making new friends and are great at helping visiting dogs feel welcomed and settled into the home. I live in a small, quiet village surrounded by fields, which means walks and adventures are endless. There’s plenty of space for dogs to explore, enjoy new smells, stretch their legs and simply be dogs. Whether your dog loves exciting walks and discovering new places, or prefers slower strolls taking everything in, there’s always somewhere peaceful and enjoyable for them. My home is full of experience, routine and understanding of dog behaviour. I know that every dog is different — some run in and make themselves at home immediately, while others need a little extra reassurance and time to adjust. I pay close attention to each dog’s comfort, body language and needs so they always feel safe and supported. More than anything, I aim to create an environment where dogs don’t just stay — they belong. A place where they can play, explore, relax, receive lots of affection and enjoy being part of everyday family life while you have complete peace of mind knowing they’re happy and cared for. 🐾 *i am fully insured*

Information Cordelia L. would like to know about your pet
Important information I’d love to know about your dog 🐾 I want every dog staying with me to feel comfortable, settled and at home, so the more I know, the better I can create a routine that feels familiar to them. Just briefly please let me know: • Their usual sleeping routine – where do they normally sleep? Do they sleep in a bed, crate, on the sofa, in your room, or somewhere else? • Feeding routines – what time do they eat, how many meals do they have, portion sizes and any special diets, allergies or food sensitivities. • Walk preferences – how long are their usual walks? Do they prefer long adventures or shorter, slower strolls? • Exercise and energy levels – are they full of energy and always ready to play, or more relaxed and happy with cuddles and quiet time? • Favourite things – favourite toys, games, treats, activities or anything that makes them especially happy. • Comfort habits – do they like blankets, cuddles, certain routines or anything that helps them settle? • Social preferences – how are they around other dogs, people and new environments? • Any fears or anxieties – loud noises, separation anxiety, nervous behaviours or anything that may make them uncomfortable. • Medical information – medications, health conditions or anything important I should know. • Commands and training – any words or routines they know so I can keep things consistent for them. Every dog is different, and my aim is to make their stay feel as close to home as possible. Keeping their routines familiar helps them feel safe, happy and relaxed while giving you complete peace of mind too.
A typical day
When your dog stays with me, I want them to feel like they’re on their own little holiday, a place where they feel safe, loved and completely part of the family rather than simply being looked after. Every dog that comes into my home becomes part of my daily life and routine. Their days will be filled with walks tailored to their energy levels, playtime and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged, lots of affection, cuddles and one to one attention, plus all the little things that make them feel comfortable and settled. I love spending quality time with dogs, whether that means playing games, brushing them and giving them extra care, relaxing together after a walk, or simply letting them stay close and enjoy companionship. I believe dogs thrive when they feel included, so they won’t be treated like a guest, they’ll be treated like family. I also understand that every dog is different. Some love endless play and adventures, while others prefer slower walks, quiet time and extra cuddles. I take the time to get to know each dog individually so I can give them a stay that feels familiar, enjoyable and suited to their personality. I want you as owners to leave your dog with me feeling completely at ease, and I want your dog to go home happy, relaxed and excited to come back next time!

Pet care experience
Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do, it’s genuinely the thing that makes me happiest. I’ve been pet sitting and providing care for the last four years, but my experience with dogs started long before that. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and honestly can’t imagine life without them in it. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routines and little quirks, and I love getting to know what makes each one unique. Whether your dog is energetic and loves adventures, enjoys long walks and playtime, or is happiest curled up having cuddles and company, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe and loved while they’re with me. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust because they’re family, not just pets. I treat every dog in my care the way I would want someone to treat my own, with patience, attention, affection and genuine care. I truly couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Spending my days around dogs, is what I love the most.
Reviews

After finding Cordelia on Rover, we couldn’t be happier with the way our dog was looked after from start to finish. We had regular communication throughout his stay and lots of updates. Perfect.

I highly recommend Cordelia, she kept me updated throughout the day with lots of pictures, helped my dog settle almost immediately and he had the best time with her and her dogs. I’m sure he can’t wait for his next visit!.

I’ve lost count of how many times my Spaniel, Cooper has stayed with Cordelia now! But every time, he comes home a very happy boy! I get picture and message updates daily of how he’s been and what they have gotten up to! Cordelia smashes it every time, she treats Coops as one of her own!

I highly recommend . Very accommodating and good communication throughout the day. You know you are leaving your dog in very good and experienced hands.
