Caring for your pet as if it was my own
We are council licensed to home board dogs.. I've been looking after animals since I was child, coming from a family with many pets. Dogs have always been a big part of my life and currently Josie the GSD is my constant companion and we now have a Labrador puppy Hugo too. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are very welcome in our house. I have a National Diploma in Animal Management from Melton College and am training to be an IMDT Dog trainer.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a 6ft brick wall around our garden, making it completely safe for even the most ardent escape artist! Pets are an integral part of our family and are treated as such, given lots of love and affection and given free access to the house / furniture. I am happy to adapt to any required feeding regimes and adept at administering medication if required.

Woody had a wonderful time at David’s, who was very accommodating at such short notice. With Woody still being a puppy we were nervous about leaving him for the 1st time, but David put us at ease and gave us confidence that he would be fine. Woody had a great day and loved playing with Hugo - I don’t think he wanted to come home!! I wish I could be selfish and try to put others off booking with David by leaving a poor review, but my conscience won’t let me! David is fantastic and Woody will definitely be back!
I couldn’t be happier with the care David provided for my dog, Oreo From the very first meet-and-greet, it was clear that he genuinely love animals and take the job seriously. Oreo can be a little anxious at first, but David was so patient and kind. I really appreciated the regular photo and message updates; it gave me total peace of mind knowing my pup was in such good hands. When I came home, Oreo was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend David to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and loving dog sitter. I’ll definitely be booking again!
David was amazing again with Ruby and understanding her needs and dislikes, helped us out at really short notice would highly recommend his services
David was a fantastic sitter for Teddy and Moose. He introduced them carefully to his dogs, especially as Moose is quite young and can be a bit anxious around new dogs at times. They had a lovely weekend, and the updates we got were fantastic. We got two very happy, tired puppies back after our weekend away, thank you so much for taking care of them both.

David was fantastic with my doggie Max who comes with a few extra needs as he can get anxious in new environments and sometimes needs a bit of help finding his off switch. I had a family emergency and David was very understanding and patient. He has really taken the time to get to know Max, and intro him to his doggy family. Max enjoyed playing, relaxing and it was a huge relief to know he was safe and being well cared for whilst I was away.

Schedule
I am retired from the military, so have plenty of time to devote to my favourite past time of looking after animals! I can be flexible in my approach to care to fit yours and your pets requirements.
