About: I’m a dog lover who’s grown up with animals of all shapes and sizes. My parents owned a working farm, so animals have always been a part of my life. I’ve owned dogs from Mastiff to my current cheeky Sausage dog. With the years of hands on experience I’m confident handling dogs with all kinds of personalities, including those with the challenging behaviour. Whether it’s a long Country Park walk, play time or a simply cuddle on the sofa. I make sure every dog feels safe, happy and loved while in my care. Your dog’s or cat’s wellbeing is always my top priority. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time dog or cat sitting. Various times available , but can be discussed further before booking. If needed to look after a puppy or small dog , I have gated and fenced all around garden, so your pet’s will be safe and secured and my little friendly Dachshund to run around with.

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and grew up caring for pet rabbits, which taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of providing consistent care. While I haven’t owned a dog myself due to a family allergy, I regularly help care for my boyfriend’s dog, who feels like part of my own family and whom I have an amazing relationship with. I walk, feed, play with, and look after her whenever her family is away, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care while you’re away. I’m a uni student home for the summer with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I regularly help care for my boyfriend’s dog by walking, feeding, playing with, and looking after her when family members are away. I do my best to be accommodating and will make sure your pet receives the exercise, attention, and companionship they need while you’re away. Your doggie’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions to ensure they feel secure and cared for. Having grown up caring for rabbits and regularly looking after a dog, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle care. I’ll provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and updates so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands!

About: Hi I’m Maddy, I’m located in Melton Mowbray but happy to travel to surrounding villages. I have many years of pet experience. I have 4 dogs and have looked after several of my friend’s dogs over the years. I look forward to hearing from you and your pet! I am a medical student currently on my Summer break so will have lots of free time to provide the best care for your pet. I have 4 dogs at home so have lots of experience in looking after different dogs. I am happy to maintain your pets routine to the best of my ability.

“Veronica did a last minute house sit for our two dogs while we were on holiday. Our dogs can be quite hyper active and bounce off each other's energy a lot, which can be overwhelming for some people, but Veronica was amazing with them throughout the whole stay. She took them on lots of walks, gave them lots of fuss and play, and it's obvious they really enjoyed her company. We got videos and photos throughout the stay which eased my mind as we hadn't left them both together with anyone before, so we weren't sure how they'd behave or react. She made sure the house was super clean and tidy when we came back, which was great as we got back very late and it was one less thing to worry about doing! Overall an amazing experience and we'd be more than happy for her to look after our dogs again any time. ☺️”

About: Hi! My name is Luke, and I have over 14 years experience caring for and training dogs. I also have some experience looking after cats. From a young age, I have been fortunate to have grown up with dogs, and have also regularly helped to look after my friends pets. My aim is to be able to build a personal bond with your pet and to provide them with their own holiday while you are away. I can offer a mix of: Dog walking - tailored to your pets routine and preference Drop-in visits - for playing, company, toilet breaks, and feeding House sitting - within your property to provide fuller time care and companionship for your pet Boarding - coming soon I can also offer basic pet grooming, washing, support for senior pets (medication administration), and basic training for young pups. I will also provide updates for you via WhatsApp, so you can be rest assured that your pet is being well taken care of. I live around the outskirts of Oakham, with access to various rural walking routes. I can be flexible during the week to provide boarding and walks. I also have weekend availability and the option to provide full week cover for while you are away. I have a fully fenced and enclosed back garden with a locked gate. Both the front and back door will be locked, and I will supervise trips to the garden. The house is pet and child free. I live in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood with close access to rural walks.

About: I have always been relied on by friends & family to look after their dogs when needed. I have experience in all dogs, senior, puppies, and dogs that struggle with new people. I also have experience in administering medication, understanding behaviour, walking, feeding and grooming. I’m currently working part time, which means I have some free time through out my week! My shift pattern at work changes each week. I have been brought up around dogs my whole life, and I also have a big German Shepard myself who has anxiety around people. This means I have learned skills in how to create a safe environment for dogs and make them feel at ease ❤️

About: I have grown up on the farm surrounded with cats, dogs, chicken, goose and other farm animals since I was little. Cats and other pets are best companions. I have got two cats Luna and Sansa. I work during day time so could drop in to feed cats before or after work. If preferred, can do both- in the morning and evening. I would prefer to look after the pets at owner's house as not sure how my cats react if it would be at my place. DBS (previously known as CRB) checked. I could make visits before or after my work or both if required. I am off work weekends. If not sure, welcome to ask any questions. As there are two cats in my own house and unsure of their reaction on new pets in the house, would prefer to look after in cats owners house.

As a vet nurse specialising in emergency and critical care, I am dedicated to catering to pets with extra or special needs. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with the Greyhound Trust, where I learned the importance of compassion and dedication in animal care. Additionally, my time at a boarding kennel has given me hands-on experience with a variety of pets, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. I’m passionate about providing the best care for your furry friends and look forward to meeting them! My current schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off. So having every other week off means I spend a lot of time at home! During my 7 days on I work from 15:30 - 00:00. I can care for pets during my week when I am working too if this suits your pet’s needs. I have a 3 bedroom property with a garden that has a large fence around it. I myself have two friendly dogs. Introductions will be made to ensure compatibility with pets. While I am happy to accept raw-fed dogs, I am unable to feed them raw food during their stay with me for the safety and comfort of all pets in my care. I kindly request that raw food not be brought into my home. However, I am happy to cater to raw-fed pets in their own home to ensure their needs are met while under my care.

About: Grew up on a family farm, so know plenty how to look after animals. Neighbours have relied on me to look after their animals whilst on holidays. I work between 5-7 days a week shift depending, I’m in management so I have to fill in for others a lot too. That being said I only do short days so it accommodates work life balance well so there’s ways of organising pet sitting. I also get my rotas up to 6 weeks in advance so there’s always knowing when I’m available at the drop of a hat. Whilst I may not offer pets to stay with me, if they’re under my care they’re well looked after. They’re walked, played with and made to feel included

“Cara is an absolute delight and made us so relaxed about looking after our dog/house. She was attentive to everything we asked her to do and all the needs for our dog. She sent daily updates with pictures that showed Rufus happily walking, playing and having cuddles. Rufus made friends with her son and appeared genuinely sad when their stay was over. I can't recommend Cara enough to anyone, whether it's their first time with a sitter or they are veterans. If we're lucky enough to need a sitter in the future we'd definitely ask Cara.”
