“Adrienne has looked after our rescue staffie Daisy at our house a couple of times now and we would definitely recommend her. Communication has been consistently quick and easy and Adrienne is friendly and professional 🙂! Daisy is dog reactive and quite strong on the lead and Adrienne was confident managing this, she listened well to our advice regarding strategies to manage her reactivity and asked sensible questions. Daisy is definitely a fan of Adrienne and we have booked multiple other dates for sitting 🐕”

“It was lovely to get to know Hannah! Right from the start the communication was clear and honest. Despite the fact that her own dog got ill we could work around it and all went smooth. Zeeno was very happy and contented when we got home and the house was in excellent condition! Thank you Hannah for an excellent service and honestly hope that it will not be the last time!”

“Devon was so wonderful with Ziggy, he watched her at our place for a few days. Devon was very caring taking her on fun walks, responsive with plenty of updates for us and very respectful of our house. Would highly recommend Devon. Thank you!”

About: I've done a lot of cat sitting, usually over a long period of time. Additionally I've had a pet dog for the majority of my life. I'm currently at NTU in my second year. So I should have lots of spare time to walk and care for pets. I'm avaliable mostly in the evenings from 4 and in gaps during lectures and seminars I'm very accustomed to caring for pets, especially dogs and cats. So I will have no trouble feeding and walking pets in a pets owners home.
“Nicola is incredible with our puppy Mabel. Nicola always checks in before the sitting to know the latest thing/command we are working on and any changes to our dog’s routine. She’s diligent, kind, super responsive and has a great attention to detail.”

“Kate came and stayed at our house and looked after our giant puppy for a week while we were on holiday. Her communication was great and she sent us pictures of Kiri’s chilling and on walks which was lovely. We will definitely be booking with Kate again. Thanks Kate!”

About: Hi! I’m Abi and I’m a reliable animal lover who enjoys spending time with animals of all shapes and sizes! I’m lucky to have grown up with family who lived in the countryside. My Grandparents lived on a farm, where my Grandad was a gamekeeper, so I’ve spent many years around working dogs, puppies, and senior dogs. At this point in my life, I’d love nothing more than to have my own dog but for now I live vicariously through other people’s furry friends! So I really value any opportunity to spend time with them — whether that’s taking them on a long walk to burn their energy off, a lazy afternoon horizontal on the sofa, or a cold drink in a beer garden with some gravely bones (for the dog not for me!) I’ve frequently looked after friends and family’s cats while they’ve gone away, and as a cat owner myself I understand the importance of feeling reassured that your cat is in safe, loving hands. I’ll always treat your pet as if they are my own! There’s nothing more rewarding than gaining a cat’s love and trust. At home, I have my own cat, Bailey, who’s nearly 15! I’ve had him since he was a kitten living and roaming on a farm. So I’m very experienced with cats of all ages and their individual personalities and needs. While I don’t drive, I love getting out and walking regularly, so I’m always happy to travel to you by foot or public transport. It also means your dog will get plenty of fresh air and enjoyable walks as part of our time together! My schedule is very flexible, which means I’m able to offer daytime, evening, and overnight care depending on your pet’s needs. My work is home-based, so I can spend plenty of quality time with pets and keep them company throughout the day. It’s very easy for me to build pet care into my routine (and it’s something I love!), whether that’s going for walks, keeping to feeding schedules, or simply making sure your pet feels safe, settled, and cared for while you’re away. I’m unable to host pets due to my boyfriend’s cat needing a calm environment and being anxious around other animals. However I’m more than happy to provide care in your home through drop-in’s, walks, overnight stays, or longer house sitting commitments. Having cared for pets in friends’ and family members’ homes, I always treat both pets and homes with the utmost care and respect — leaving everything as I found it and following any instructions closely. I know every pet is different, so I’d always ask that owners please let me know about routines, behaviours, needs, or anything else important prior to care beginning. My priority is your pet and making sure they’re comfortable, safe, and well looked after in their home.
“Peyton has looked after our gsd cross Sammy a couple of times now and we can’t speak highly enough. She’s super friendly, always responds quickly and we feel 100% comfortable and confident leaving him with her. He’s always super happy to see her and is his normal happy self when we get back”

“It was a pleasure to have Cara looking after Zeeno and Loki! They were very happy when we got home and communication with Care was easy . Thanks Cara for your help and we would love to use you again if needed!”

“On returning home after my trip, I came back to a very happy, healthy, well fed Mopsy. As usual Yeru has done a fine job. I feel she may have struggled a little with uni work, and looking after Mopsy, but that is my fault really, as I have her virtually no notice. I think it may have only been four days, but if she hadn’t stepped up, I would have had to cancel my trip, as there’s no one else, I’d be happy to trust with my dog. I’d throughly recommend Yeru, and hope she is available in the summer, when I go on holiday again. 🤞”

“Leah has been absolutely amazing, she really helped us out with a last minute booking after someone else cancelled. Leah is super friendly and provided detailed daily updates throughout the week with photos and videos. One of my girls are very nervous, has dietary requirements and needs eyedrops and Leah handled all of this with no issues. It was very clear to see in the photos and videos that both girls absolutely adored her and were quickly very comfortable. I couldn’t recommend her more! Thank you so much 🥰”

“Thank you to Laura and Tim for taking such good care of Irvie and also of our home. We were kept updated and assured that Irvie was settled and happy back at home, which really put our mind at ease. Irvie loved his walks and cuddles and looks forward to us going away again so that he can see Laura and Tim again 😀”

About: I have taken care of friends and neighbours’ animals over the past few years as a reliable and caring house sitter and walker. I look forward to working with you to give your animal the best care. I currently work part-time, mostly on weekends, so I am available for all your weekday pet sitting needs. I am able to walk, play with and feed your animals, getting to know there needs and preferences. When walking/caring for your pet, they will be my number one priority and will communicate effectively with you to provide the appropriate and particular care they need.
About: I’ve got one year of hands-on dog care experience, and I’m also a proud puppy parent — so I truly get the zoomies, the picky eating, and the 3 a.m. squeaky toy concerts. From playful pups to mellow mutts, I adjust my approach to suit each dog's personality and needs. What sets me apart? Patience, consistency, and a genuine love for the chaos and cuddles that come with dog care. I’m comfortable with puppies and have experience working on basic training (sit, stay, and the ever-important “drop it!”). I also have a soft spot for older dogs who need a gentler pace and extra TLC. I’m available weekday evenings and weekends for walks, drop-ins, or home pet sitting. Need overnight care? I’ve got you covered over the weekend — just send me a message and we’ll sort out the details. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine — I plan my days around my own pup’s schedule, so adding another furry friend into the mix just feels natural. If anything, it makes the evening walks more fun (and adds bonus tail wags). Whether I’m coming to your home or welcoming your pet into mine, safety is always the priority. I dog-proof my space like it’s an Olympic sport — no toxic plants, chewable cords, or “mystery snacks” on the floor. In your home, I respect routines and spaces, and I leave everything as I found it (except your pup — they’ll be even more loved when you return). At my home, pets have a secure, calm environment and get the same rules and love I give my own dog. That means lots of play, proper feeding schedules, and supervised outdoor time. And yes, there will be belly rubs on demand.
“Juliana looked after my dog Oedipe all day, and I'm really pleased with her work. Oedipe is a very reserved dog and often takes a long time to open up to new people. Despite this, Juliana showed incredible patience and gentleness in gaining his trust. She took the time to make him feel at ease, and that really made a difference. I know that she took good care of him and that he was in good hands. I would recommend Juliana without hesitation!”

“I had to use this app to each out last minute to find a sitter, due to a cancellation, and I couldn’t be more happy. Andreia was great with my dogs, especially consider one of them is a bit of a nervous wreck. Have booked more dates with Andreia and using her as my new sitter. Highly recommend.”

About: Hey 👋🏻 I'm Maddy, a PhD student at the University of Nottingham. I've got experience of catsitting for several different cats, both indoor and outdoor, and would love to meet more furry friends! I'm available to pop-in and for longer stays as my PhD is flexible and remote. Also happy to water plants, get post/deliveries, or similar odd jobs.
Nottingham pet owners share their Rover experiences
Scarlet has been an absolutely amazing dog sitter for my two Shih Tzus. From the moment we met her, it was clear how caring, reliable, and genuinely loving she is with dogs. She kept them happy, comfortable, and well looked after, and I had complete peace of mind while away. She was attentive to their routines, gave them lots of affection and care, and kept me updated regularly, which I really appreciated. My dogs were relaxed and happy around her, which says everything. I would highly recommend Scarlet to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and responsible dog sitter. Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of them!

I am so glad Olaya agreed to take care of my cat Mimi for 4 days. Olaya is excellent with cats, and has really good and calm energy - Mimi opened up to her in minutes. Olaya took the time to engage with Mimi with toys and ensured no disruption to her routine. Olaya is also highly responsible, and she paid a lot of attention to detail, and I felt extremely assured about leaving Mimi in her care. All the information regarding Mimi’s routines as well as the apartment were handled with care and honesty which I really appreciate. Communication was excellent where I received many updates on Mimi. Olaya left my apartment extremely tidy! I am really thankful to Olaya and I would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for an extremely responsible and caring sitter.

Adrienne has looked after our rescue staffie Daisy at our house a couple of times now and we would definitely recommend her. Communication has been consistently quick and easy and Adrienne is friendly and professional 🙂! Daisy is dog reactive and quite strong on the lead and Adrienne was confident managing this, she listened well to our advice regarding strategies to manage her reactivity and asked sensible questions. Devon is an great dog walker who clearly has a deep love for dogs. He is a very calm and patient person, which is great for Rigby. He was happy for me accompany him on Rigby's first walk. Rigby is a rescue dog and can have separation anxiety, so this really reassured him, and it gave us the perfect opportunity to discuss Rigby's specific needs. Devon is knowledgeable about canine behaviour and training, and was a lovely, calming influence on Rigby throughout the walk. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any dog owner.

Alice and Tommy are great! Definitely recommend. Quick to respond, accommodating to our times and looked after Casper with lots of care. They also organised a meet and greet prior to looking after our pooch, as well as updating us throughout the day with photos of Casper which was lovely to receive. Thank you so much :)

Shani is absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much for helping us out at such short notice. She took the time to meet our pup, Casper, beforehand to make sure they were a good match, which we really appreciated. Communication was quick and easy, and it was clear from the start how kind and affectionate she is with dogs. We had lots of pictures and updates sent to us through the day on his wellbeing and put us completely at ease knowing Casper was in such safe and loving hands. I came home to a happy and relaxed pooch, and it’s obvious he had a great time. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Shani again—highly recommend! 😊

Ella was really good when she looked after my 4 month lab puppy! She gave him lot of love and attention and provided updates throughout the day! She also left my house very clean and tidy which was above and beyond! She really helped me out and have booked again with her. My puppy was tired for the rest of the day after lots of play and attention!

Hanna was a wonderful sitter for a whole week and looked after our very shy and nervous greyhound, Genie. She was very patient and managed to win his trust over time. Very good at keeping us informed on daily events and pictures of stand out moments. Hanna left the house immaculately clean. Highly recommended as a dog sitter.

We booked another weekend with Shanaya after her first time looking after Merlin went so well - again, absolutely no faults, she was the perfect carer and companion for our little pup. He absolutely adores her! We are very much hoping to use Shanayas services again in the future ☺️☺️

Abby is a sweet young lady! she arrive early so we could provide instructions & care for our girls. Our two small dogs took to her immediately as she meet them with attention & love. We were visiting Nottingham and wanted time to visit the town without the girls. Abby provided love & care! I would highly recommend Abby to care for your animals. 💕

My dog, Blossom, had a wonderful time with Dori! Dori came over for a meet and greet ahead of the booking and was absolutely lovely. For the 2 days that Dori stayed with Blossom, I received regular updates, photos, videos, and my house was left in a perfect condition. Highly recommend booking with Dori!

Amber was great at looking after our pup Merlin, they took time to come and meet him before hand and made sure they knew about his care needs. I got updates and pictures throughout the day, and looks like they had a lovely walk and time in the garden! Would 100% recommend!

This was the second time Nicola sat with Bob, he was really pleased to see her. Once again he settled quickly, and was happy and content on our return. It was lovely to be able to relax and go out, knowing Bob was happy and comfotable with Nicola. We look forward to booking again, and being able to build Bob's relationship with Nicola
