About: I’ve had lots of pets growing up in the countryside. When neighbours were away on holiday, I would be the one to care for their animals while they were gone. I work from home on Fridays so can be available to pet sit during the day. I am also around evenings after work and on weekends I have a grassy garden for pets to play in and lots of scenic local walking routes. Blankets are also on hand to make pets comfortable during their stay

About: Since I was young, my family have been breeding bull dogs and I helped out a lot. Growing up we have had many dogs that I have loved to take on long walks. Currently we don’t have any at the moment which has left me wanting to go out and be with dogs again! I love long walks, hiking and being outdoors. I am currently waiting to enroll on a pets first aid course! Pet care is the perfect way to fill my week with something I truly enjoy, while making sure your furry friend gets the attention they deserve. Whether I’m walking dogs or house sitting for any type of pet. My priority is always their safety, comfort, and happiness. I’m trustworthy, reliable, and respectful of your home as everything will be exactly as you left it. I make sure pets are never put in unsafe situations, follow their routines closely, and give them plenty of attention and care while you’re away. You can relax knowing your home and your pets are in good hands.

Alice and her Partner have been absolutely brilliant. They have looked after Winnie so well, even taken her out for longer and to the Pub for tea with them! They genuinely love your dog like you would want them to and they have handled her well when she can be a bit tricky around Cats! I can’t recommend them enough.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was 10 and have always been involved in caring for them. I’ve helped raise and train puppies, including feeding, walking, playtime, and teaching basic routines. As all of my family have dogs, I’m very comfortable around different breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I understand how important it is to give them patience, attention, and care. I currently work full time, but have Thursday and Sundays off with the chance of finishing the rest of the days at 15:30pm. From Thursday to Sunday I can board the dogs from 5pm. I have a large outdoor space at the back of my flat which is perfect for dogs to safely enjoy freedom, playtime, exercise, and relaxation. I will provide a calm, caring, and secure environment where pets feel comfortable and well looked after. We have space in the flat for a crate if this is what your dog needs.

About: I’ve always loved animals and would be very happy to have the opportunity to care for other people’s pets. I grew up with a Border Collie, although I was quite young at the time, so my experience then was mostly playing with and helping to train her. My granmother also owned a dog grooming salon where I spent alot of time watching her while she worked. My boyfriend has much more recent experience with dogs. He grew up with an English Springer Spaniel and was his main caretaker, regularly taking him on walks and jogs and being involved in his day-to-day care. Sadly, he passed away a couple of years ago. We’ve recently moved into a flat together, right opposite a lovely park, and while we aren’t currently in a position to have a pet of our own, we’d absolutely love the chance to spend time with and look after other people’s pets. We’re both caring, responsible and happy to give pets plenty of attention, exercise and company. We’re both university students with fairly flexible schedules. Over the summer we’re working part-time, and during term time we’re usually only away for a few hours at a time, so there will always be someone at home. We’re also early risers and already like going for daily walks, so it would be lovely to have a dog come along with us! I’m studying Animal & Environmental Biology too, so animals are definitely something I’m interested in. We’d treat your pets just like we’d want someone to treat ours. We’d stick to their normal routine and make sure they’re comfortable and happy while you’re away. For walks, we’d keep them on lead unless you’ve told us otherwise, and we’d always follow any instructions you give us about feeding, routines or anything else they need. We’re also happy to send you photos and updates while you’re away! As we live right opposite a park, we’re in a great spot for walks and drop-ins.

About: I started walking my friend’s dog when I was small, which gave me experience in taking care of a dog and ensuring it has a good walking experience. I’m currently a full-time sociology student studying in university but my course workload isn’t heavy, so I have plenty of time for dog care jobs. For bordering service, I have a large grassy garden that provides a comfortable and safe space for dogs to run around. There are also plenty of green areas near my home, which are great for walking dogs.

About: Importantly, my services are based on mutual trust and responsibility. This app is never just about money. I don’t accept bookings from profiles that provide little or no information about their pets, because I don’t want to put myself—or your pet—at risk. If your dog has never been trained, has specific behavioural or emotional needs, or this is their first time being hosted by someone, please let me know in advance. This helps me understand your pet’s needs and know if I am capable of looking after your pet. I set myself apart by offering not only reliable pet care, but also tailored attention based on each pet’s unique needs. With hands-on experience in both puppy training and senior care, I’m able to provide: Puppy support: basic training, leash manners, and positive reinforcement. Senior care: gentle walks, medication reminders, and comfort for aging pets. Personalized activity: matching your pet’s energy level with playtime, exercise, or calm companionship. Consistent communication: daily updates with photos/videos for your peace of mind. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care so your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. My schedule is highly flexible, allowing me to accommodate daily or weekly pet care at times that suit your pet’s routine. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits throughout the week, as well as weekends. Whether it’s structured puppy training sessions, regular walks, or consistent feeding times, I’ll ensure your pet’s schedule stays balanced and stress-free. 🐾 Caring for Pets in My Home When pets stay with me, they’re treated like part of the family. I provide a safe, cozy environment with plenty of playtime, walks (for dogs), and cuddles. I make sure feeding, bathroom breaks, and exercise all follow their normal routine, so they feel comfortable and at ease. I also keep spaces clean and pet-friendly, with lots of love and attention. 🐾 Caring for Pets in an Owner’s Home In your home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s daily routine exactly as you set it. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning (for cats), walks (for dogs), and any special instructions such as medications or training reinforcement. I make sure your pet feels secure in their own environment while also keeping your home tidy and cared for during my visits.

About: Hey, I’m Malaya! 🐶 Having owned two dogs, a highly active working line German Shepherd, and a typical stubborn, snoozy Chow Chow, as well as dog walking professionally alongside a qualified dog trainer, I’ve gained plenty of experience working with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments! I’m committed to providing reliable, loving pet care that’s tailored to the unique needs and routine of your pup. I aim to communicate with owners promptly, and as an avid photographer, my clients often receive high-quality pawtraits! Walks with me typically involve: - a lot of play! This play is an amazing way to encourage engagement - a lot of sniffing! Dogs use their noses for everything and there’s no way I’d stop that - a lot of rewards! Whether your dog is a foodie or a toy dog, or even just a verbal praise kind of pup, they’ll be getting lots of it! Creating high value in our relationship is so important - lots of water and lots of shade! We all know how hot summers in the UK can be, and so, in warm weather, we take a lot of breaks and practice some settling in the shade - up-keeping your training plan! While I am not a dog trainer professionally, I am more than happy to keep you any key elements of your dog’s training that you need! As a university student living in Beeston, I have a relatively flexible schedule and can give your pup the best whilst you’re away! I’d love the opportunity to work with you and your pup! Any questions, just shoot me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible 😊 I currently attend university a few hours a week so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet! During all services, I seek to follow owner guidance in order to ensure a seamless experience for the pups, in order to maintain their regular routine and help them feel most comfortable! Please note that I will not offer drop-ins and/or overnight stays if anyone is home. This is for my personal safety. When looking after your pets in your home, I hope to be an extension of you personally! Please leave instructions for me to follow (unless verbally communicated) and I’ll be sure they’re done!

About: I have over 15 years of personal experience caring for cats, from growing up with my family’s 12-year-old senior cat to co-owning a cat for 4 years. I truly understand feline behavior, boundaries, and how to make them feel safe. I've even successfully trained cats to walk on a leash and play treat-guessing games! I am a regular, trusted cat sitter for my friends' pets, and I recently completed a wonderful month-long boarding stay for a cat at my place. I live on my own in a large, quiet house with a big garden, making it a peaceful, stress-free environment for your pets. I have a lot of love to give and plenty of free time right now to focus entirely on your furry friends, whether they stay at my home or I visit yours. While cats are my specialty, I am also very open to hosting or visiting calm, friendly dogs to expand my care experience! I work completely from home, which means my schedule is highly flexible and I am around all day. Your pet will never be left alone for long periods. My daily routine revolves around providing consistent companionship, sticking strictly to your feeding and medication schedules, and building in plenty of dedicated time for play, grooming, and mental stimulation (or leash walks if they are trained for it!). Because I have a lot of free time right now, your pet will truly be my top priority. In My Home: I live alone in a large, quiet house with a big, secure garden, offering a peaceful environment free from the stress of children or other resident pets. Before any stay, I meticulously pet-proof the space. Your pet will have full freedom to roam, explore, and find their favorite cozy spots. I am extremely mindful of open doors and windows to ensure absolute safety. In Your Home: I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean and secure. During drop-in visits, I focus entirely on making your pet feel safe and loved while you are away. Communication: Trust is everything to me. I will send you daily updates, photos, and videos so you can see exactly how much fun and love your furry friend is getting!

Looking after a pet can be a daunting task, feeding, walking, and looking after its health. I would imagine it’s even more difficult, when it’s someone else’s pet, but Jing skilfully took on that challenge looking after Mopsie and did an amazing job. She came to meet him in her own time, so he would know her and not be scared when they next met. She took excellent care of him while I was away, sending me pictures and videos every day, so I would not worry. She followed everything that I asked her to do without question. She was respectful of my home, keeping everything tidy, and secure. She even stayed much longer than the 30 minutes I booked her for on many occasions. I can throughly recommend Jing to look after your pet, and I’m hoping she will be available in December when I have another trip away, because I’d love her to look after Mopsie again.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Nottingham choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
