Unfortunately, we lost our bulldog Bonnie recently and this has given us the passion and desire to look after other peoples dogs. We always found this difficult and a challenge knowing who to trust with Bonnie and my goal is to help others feel at ease. We as a family have experience being around a variety of breeds including young & old dogs. I currently work full-time in the community, however I work from home majority of the working week. Also, if I am not home my mum is at home as she only works part-time. At the weekends everybody in the house is home. Your dog will not be on their own longer than a couple of hours at a time. I have a private secure back garden where dogs will have access to safely and securely. I will care for your dog as if they were my own. I am honest, trustworthy and have a genuine love & care for animals especially dogs!

About: I was raised in a home with four legged friends and therefore built a natural way of being with them, especially dogs - they have a special spot in my heart. A large chunk of my experience with dogs comes from my late rescue dog, who at her arrival knew no commands and had never been indoors. She thought me plenty about the realities of taking care of a dog, as well as patience and importance of sticking to set rules. Her speciality was to eat everything even remotely edible, so I've learnt to be careful with where their mouths go, both indoors and outdoors. I have also helped friends with their dogs, taking them on walks and dogsitting over night a few times. I really love dogs but don't think owning one would currently be the best decision, meaning that I will take care of yours as if they were mine - with your rules and guidance. To put everyone's mind at ease, I will strictly follow your guidance when taking care of your dog. This will also help them to settle into the new environment easier. I would like to think myself as a reliable person with common sense. I am down to earth and have a calm and regular lifestyle - there's no loud music etc in my home, nor regular visitors. I also like to keep active, so regular walks are a bonus to me. I work regular office hours on Monday to Wednesday, making me free full time for the rest of the week. I am also able to occasionally work from home for a day or two. With no other regular commitments, I am happy to use that flexibility to work around your schedule as best as I can. I provide a safe, calm and caring environment in my one-bedroom flat, where your dog will receive plenty of attention and supervision. I live alone, so your dog will have a quiet, stress-free space without other animals or loud noise. The apartment block is very peaceful, with only two flats on my floor, meaning there is very little foot traffic or noise from neighbours, helping keep the environment calm for dogs. I’m located near a canal for regular walks, and I can also take a bus to larger green spaces like Colwick Park, depending on your preferences and with your approval. Inside the home, I make sure all potentially dangerous items are securely stored in enclosed cupboards, and I can restrict access to certain areas, such as the kitchen, using a gate, if needed. I follow your dog’s usual diet closely, including exact feeding times, portion sizes, and any specific instructions such as allergies, sensitivities, or treats allowed, to keep their routine consistent and safe. I’m also keen to know about their other individual needs, including any triggers or situations that may cause stress, so I can avoid them and keep your dog comfortable and relaxed. Dogs are welcome on the sofa and bed, so they can feel at home during their stay, and I always prioritise safety, follow your instructions carefully, and keep you updated for peace of mind.

About: I have experience with rescue dogs and building bonds and trust. I know the importance of understanding what your dog needs no matter the temperament. I enjoy training new tricks and taking them for adventures. I believe I can offer your dog fun and make their stays like a holiday I work from home most of the week. My mornings start by walking maple first thing in the morning, on my lunch break and after work. With plenty of playtime in between. I am very lucky to be living with a veterinary nurse who is always on hand to help where needed. I am very flexible to your dogs routine and will aim to mirror this. I'm a 19-year-old who has been around dogs my whole life, and I've been walking family and friends' dogs for years. I've always loved animals, which is why I pursued a Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Animal Care, providing me with a strong foundation in animal health, welfare, and behavior. My practical experience includes working at a dog groomer that specialized in handling dogs with various behavioral issues, so I'm well-versed in understanding and managing different temperaments. At home, I have two friendly dogs of my own who are great with other pups, ensuring a harmonious environment if your dog stays with me. Your furry friend's safety and happiness are my top priorities! Regarding my availability I work part time but rest assured there will always be someone at home to let them out for the toilet. As when I leave for work everyone else arrives home from work. At home, I have two wonderful dogs; A boy toy poodle (unneutered) and a girl labradoodle (spayed). Both are very friendly and get along wonderfully with other dogs. However for everyone’s comfort I will arrange an initial meet and greet away from home to ensure all dogs are happy together before going ahead and booking you in. We have a large fenced garden that we are currently sorting out but the dogs still have full access which they will always be supervised. I also drive so can offer pick up services if you have any issues with transport.

About: I live on my own and own a very active Cockerpoo. I've looked after and taken friends and family dogs for around 10 years. I live next to woodthorpe Park which is ideal for your dog to have a adventure day ! If it's a case of me looking after your dog/dogs on there own then that is totally fine. I have family that would be more than happy looking after ziggy for a while if you dog isn't comfortable around others. I currently work part-time so, so have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I am available during most of the week and also weekends I have a fenced garden which has lots of grass and greenery to run around in. I also live close to woodthorpe park which is ideal for your dog to run around and have adventures.

About: I've looked after dogs in the past for family and fostered Guide Dogs in training. Dogs love the large garden and I have a park within walking distance. Paddling pool and toys to play with. Lots of play and walks. I'm retired but have active hobbies that I can work around. Friends visit and if your dog is pub friendly we can visit the local that has a dog bar that has treats and water bowls. I have a large fenced garden with paddling pool in hot weather and shaded areas. There is a park nearby. Comfy beds and toys in the house. Snuggles on the sofa watching tv allowed.

We hadn't used Grace before for daycare, so we were a little anxious about Daisy stopping overnight as her first visit but she settled really fast and had a great time. We received regular updates and photos (where we could tell that Daisy was genuinely happy!) and our advice regarding Daisy's routine was followed well 🙂 we will definitely be asking Grace to sit Daisy again in future and would recommend her to anyone.”

I really love spending time with dogs and have lots experience in taking care of dogs over just a normal day whilst I work from home, or when people need their dogs looking after whilst they’re away for a week or so. There’s nothing better than having a little buddy following you round! I haven’t got any kids around so no need to worry if your dog isn’t great with children. I’ve got a large fenced garden that dogs can run round safely. I’m looking for a lovely dog that I can take for walks and have at home as well whilst I’m WFH. I’m also available for long weekend stays too! I currently work from home on Fridays, so can look after dogs from Thursday night to Sunday evening ONLY. No long holiday stays, I live too far away from where I work to provide the best care to your dog. THURSDAY PM - SUNDAY PM ONLY. I live in a semi detached house with a large clear fenced garden so your dog can run round freely without any risk of escape or hurting themselves.
