“We’ve just picked up our pups and we’re SO happy with how they’ve been looked after! They were with Amy and Michael for 6 days, the longest we’ve been away since we got the girls so we were nervous about leaving them. But as soon as we went to meet the couple at their home we were bowled over by how kind and welcoming they were. The girls took to them straight away and our mind was made up that they would be the perfect people to look after our pups. While we were away Amy gave us updates and sent lovely photos to show us how they were getting on; making sure we knew they were eating well, going on walks and getting lots of fuss and cuddles! I would recommend this lovely, professional couple to anyone thinking of using dog sitters and we will be more than happy to use them again.”

About: I have always had a strong love for animals, especially dogs, as I grew up surrounded by lots of different pets. Being around animals from a young age has helped me develop a natural understanding of how to care for them, be patient with them, and make sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. My experience as a dog sitter is something I really enjoy because I love spending time with dogs and getting to know their individual personalities and needs. I understand the importance of giving them plenty of attention, exercise, fresh air and companionship while their owners are away. One of my favourite parts of dog sitting is taking dogs out for walks. I enjoy giving them the opportunity to explore, exercise and have fun, while also benefiting from being outdoors myself. Going for regular walks with a dog helps me stay active and supports my own health and wellbeing, making it something that I find both enjoyable and rewarding. Overall, looking after dogs is something I am passionate about. Growing up with pets, combined with my experience caring for animals, has taught me to be responsible, caring and attentive. I would always treat someone else's dog with the same care and respect that I would give to my own pets. Working from home allows me to provide dogs with the attention, care and companionship they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to take regular breaks to feed them, let them outside, give them attention and take them out for walks. Being at home also means dogs are not left alone for long periods of time, which can help them feel more comfortable and settled. I can easily fit walks and playtime around my working schedule while still making sure my work commitments are met. I really enjoy being around dogs while I work, and I believe my home-based routine is ideal for dog sitting. It allows me to give each dog plenty of care and attention while providing a safe, calm and loving environment for them. Although my garden is on the smaller side, it is fully fenced and provides a safe and secure space for dogs to have regular toilet breaks and get some fresh air throughout the day. I understand that the garden is not intended to replace proper walks and exercise, but it is a convenient and secure space for quick toilet breaks whenever needed. I also live next to a beautiful bank and walking area, which is perfect for giving dogs plenty of exercise and outdoor stimulation. I regularly take my family’s dog there for walks and really enjoy spending time outdoors with him. The area provides a lovely environment for dogs to explore, get some exercise and enjoy their surroundings. Having both a secure garden and such a beautiful walking area nearby means I can provide dogs with regular toilet breaks, exercise and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

Chloe was very easy to communicate with, we had to change times and dates due to me moving house too and she really helped and was very flexible. About: I am happiest when with dogs, they really are man’s best friend. I am always pottering in the garden when it’s nice, or reading by the fire when it’s not! We also have lovely woods to walk in nearby. I have had dogs for as long as I can remember, but no longer have my own. I am retired and love spending time with dogs. We live in the beautiful Burghley estate so are truly spoilt for walking spots. I am up early to feed the chickens and more often than not, tending to my garden. Would be happy to have some canine company. I have a fully dog proofed garden with large lawn and plenty of space to explore. We have a long driveway, and gate, not that many cars come this way! We walk a minute to beautiful wooded areas

For dogs that enjoy adventure, I love taking them on longer walks and exploring new places, giving them plenty of exercise, stimulation, and fun. I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they receive lots of attention, affection, and the highest standard of care. I work from home 4-5 days a week and then don’t work weekends. I can look after dogs whilst working, after work, before work and at the weekends. I do this with my own dog. By feeding them, playing with them, checking in on them, rubbing their bellies and stroking/cuddling them. Creating a safe and cosy place for them to feel comfy and at home.
