About: From a young age I have been asked to care for animals in families I’ve known, in the past couple of years I have developed that into housesitting, looking after animals from horses to dogs and I am happy to adapt to any task at hand. About: I have owned an older large breed rescue dog who was strong and had a habit of pulling. I have experience of caring for him in older age. I now have a large breed Romanian rescue dog called Ziggy who is super friendly and can come on walks if wanted. Can currently offer walks and animal sitting at the weekends can also pop in the evenings am happy to stay over in your house or just do regular visits depending on what is best for you I have a secure garden and a very friendly dog which can be used on walks for socialising. About: Hi, I’m Harriet, my 15 year old rescue jack Russell passed away in August 2025 and I’m missing the company and love walking with furry friends! I have a HNC qualification in animal management, as well as worked in a rescue kennels and cattery for 5 years and worked in a pet shop for 2 years. Pets are my passion and I would love to meet yours! I work shifts but I know my schedule far in advance so it is best for me to plan walks with your companion. About: I am currently looking after a dog for a friend on a weekly basis, often going to the park, looking after him overnight, and sometimes day trips. I have raised my family dog since he was a puppy, so am fully aware of what that entails. When I go back home, I walk and take care of him. I live with my boyfriend who has had cats in the past, so I am used to having them in the house and how to take care of them. About: Having had dogs in the family since I was a child and having my own for the past 12 years, I have always loved taking care of them. I have looked after all sorts of breeds, over the years, big and small, and love them all. I am Dog First Aid Trained and have looked after dogs from puppies to senior dogs. However, we do occasionally take on bigger dogs (lurchers, labradors etc) Your dog needs to be socialised with other dogs. Not be aggressive in any way. Walk nicely on the lead. Dixons dog sitters holds £2million public liability insurance and we will take care of your fur baby, as well as we take care of our own. I always insist on a meet and greet before your dog comes to stay. This will reassure you, that our house is a safe, secure, clean and loving environment. You get to meet our dog and any other dogs that are staying at the time. This makes the whole process so much easier to handle for everyone concerned. I know how stressful it can be, to leave your pets with anyone, other than family. We will never take dogs out in the heat of the day, or when it is raining heavily and won't let them off lead, unless told that they can be trusted to not run away. We have a large secure garden with shaded areas to play in, and enjoy indoor playtime and enrichment activities, when we are unable to go out for a walk, due to adverse weather conditions. We allow all dogs the full run of the house.....but have a barrier at the bottom of the stairs, and at the entrance to the kitchen, where they can be contained, if we open the front door. We are getting electric gates fitted soon. Every aspect is covered to keep them safe, secure and happy, whilst they are in my care. We always send lots of updates and photos to reassure owners. I am licensed to board 5 dogs at a time, so your dog needs to be well socialised and toilet trained. All dogs are walked once/twice a day....weather and ability dependant. All dogs are let out into our large secured garden to play, or go to the toilet every hour or so. In the Summer months, the back door is left open, so they can come and go as they please. Their last toilet break is usually around midnight. Your fur baby will become part of our family whilst you are away. There are no favourites in this household, and no forbidden areas. Everyone is treated the same. If Polly goes for a walk, so does your dog. If Polly gets a treat, so does your dog. You can enjoy your time away, knowing that your fur baby will not just be taken care of….they will be loved. Please read my testimonials. Lynn is semi retired and works from home and Paul works nights, so is up and about from lunchtime onwards. There is always at least one of us at home. We have a large private and secure garden where dogs can run and play. Enrichment activities are part of the day and walkies are twice daily. We have a barrier that is placed at the bottom of the stairs and a barrier to contain any dogs whilst we answer the front door.

About: Hi there! Im Laura - i am a DMU criminology graduate that is now doing a gap year with her church. I love and have always loved animals! I have a grown up with a cat and love him endlessly! I have always wanted a dog but as a full time student with a mum that worked full time we would never have been around the house enough to give it the care it would need! I do plan to have my own dog within the next few years, when i know that i can look after them properly! I am happy to feed, walk and/or pet sit at your home for any length of time during the day/evening! My availability for each week is all day Wednesday and Saturday and the also friday evenings My Rates - i have based my rates on the current minimum wage after rover take their 15% - so for me that will be 8.30 ish an hour, based on a 4-5 hr night ☺️ Side note - if you are looking for a pet sitter i wont be able to do this from my flat because my tenancy agreement doesn't allow animals unfortunately, so i am happy to come to you I am happy to provide a reference if you would like!
