About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for both dogs and cats, including having pets of my own and working in a kennels for a year. This gave me hands-on experience caring for a variety of dogs, understanding their different personalities, routines and needs. I’m confident with feeding, walking, cleaning, providing enrichment, and making sure animals feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I understand that every pet is an individual, and I always take the time to build trust and make them feel at ease. After losing my own pets, I’m looking forward to reconnecting with animals and providing the same love, attention and companionship to other people’s pets I work part-time and also work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to offer pet care around my working hours. I’m available for lunchtime visits and walks, as well as after-work appointments, making it easier to fit around your pet’s routine. I understand how important consistency and companionship are for pets, and I’ll always make sure they receive plenty of attention, care and affection while you’re away. I am available anytime during the weekends an my days off. I provide care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I understand that keeping their normal routine is important, so I take the time to follow their usual feeding, walking and care schedule. During visits, I’ll provide companionship, playtime, feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, and plenty of attention. For cats, I’ll respect their individual personalities and give them space if they need it while making sure they feel safe and cared for. I’ll always treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would give my own.
“Nikki looked after Elvis for us while we were away for a weekend. She was quick to respond, sent photo updates, and made sure Elvis was well looked after and gave him lots of cuddles 🥰. Thank you Nikki! And Elvis also says thank you 😻”

“Couldn't leave a better review imo. Jessica is an amazing person and we are so glad we asked her to look after our cats. Jessica is easy to talk too and proven to be trustworthy and I can't actually put it into words how much she made us feel at ease leaving our pets with her. She's so friendly and even the miserable bitey creature didn't mind her. Definitely our go to person if we need cat care again. Thanks so much Jessica 💓💓💓”

About: I have experience caring for dogs since I was about 15 years old. I often helped my grandmother and close family friends with their dogs — walking them, feeding them and looking after them when they were busy or away. Through this experience I learned how to be patient, attentive and responsible with dogs of different personalities. I enjoy spending time with them, going on walks, playing and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I work night shifts from Sunday night until Wednesday morning. On the other days, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time for pet care. I am available for walks, visits, or overnight stays on most days, and I can adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. I provide a clean, safe, and comfortable space for pets, whether at my home or theirs. I follow all instructions carefully and always supervise pets to keep them happy and secure. Owners get updates so they can relax while I care for their furry friends.

“First time we have used the Rover app for looking after our two cats and couldn’t recommend Oscar enough. Loved getting photos while we were away. I think Theo was gutted when we got home!”

“Having always used a cattery in the past and come back to very unhappy cats, I thought I would try a cat sitter. I am so glad I did! Andrea has been amazing. She sent me daily photos, videos and texts to let me know how they were. Andrea is reliable, professional and gave my cats so much attention and love. I would highly recommend her. ”

About: I've taken care of multiple dogs since I was small, with variations in size and breed. I have experience with energetic young mixed-breed dogs as well as older dogs with special medical needs. Nothing is too much to provide the care, affection, and training our furry friends require! New to official formal sitting, hence the "1 year". I'm a researcher and a writer working from home in the middle of Peterborough, so I can easily fit let care into my weekly and daily routines. My time is my own to organise, so if a pet needs full attention and care I can give them that, or if they just need company I can bring my work to them! When caring for a pet, that let becomes my main priority! At the moment I'm keen to provide care in the pet owner's home, or indeed outside. Details depend on the pet caring circumstances, but I'll maintain high standards of safety by building trust and maintaining a relationship with the pet and the pet owner.

About: I love animals but especially cats have been part of my life and grow up with them, I have time to spend with them and give them the care and love they deserve I work from home and I have a lot of spare time on my hands and I miss having a cat with me so I can care for I have a 3 bedroom house with a fenced garden, I work from home 5 days a week, my son is at school from 9-5

About: Hi, I’m Andriana, a first year medical student who's home for the holidays! I really love spending time with dogs and have some experience in taking care of them. I may not have a dog of my own, but my passion for caring for them is anything but second-hand. For over three years, I've been a regular, trusted carer for my cousin's dogs, looking after them across all stages of life — from energetic puppies and playful adults to more gentle senior dogs. This has given me a well-rounded understanding of how differently dogs need to be cared for depending on their age and personality. I’m looking for a lovely dog that I can take for walks and am able to dog sit at their house .I’m usually available on weekdays in the daytime and evening, at weekends and for holidays. I am a First year university student who is home for the holidays where I have all the time in the world, if I have no prior arrangements, I am available 24/7, any day of the week and any time. Unfortunately, my own cat doesn't get on with dogs so I will only be able to walk dogs and dog-sit at the owners home, where I will utilise the resources available to me as instructed.
About: I have grown up with 3 dogs which makes me experienced and on multiple occasions I’ve watched them for a week. I love walking and will happily take animals on walks. And I love a cuddle as much as the pet does. I also volunteer for the cinnamon trust walking and looking after elderly and terminally ill people’s pets. I also have a DBS certificate I study at university and am only in for an hour or 2 at a time so taking care of an animal fits into my schedule easily. I work in a bar 2 days a week. Friday I work 5 hours and Saturday I work 9 so I wouldn’t be able to look after pets on Saturday but I could always begin after my shift. I do not care for pets in my home as I am in a flat and pets are not allowed. In terms of looking after pets in your home. I would like to be told anything important or to know if your pet likes to try and escape so I can be more aware of this. I would never try and put contact with a pet if they are uncomfortable. I understand some pets are shy and that needs to be acknowledged.
About: I am currently looking after a dog for a friend on a weekly basis, often going to the park, looking after him overnight, and sometimes day trips. I have raised my family dog since he was a puppy, so am fully aware of what that entails. When I go back home, I walk and take care of him. I live with my boyfriend who has had cats in the past, so I am used to having them in the house and how to take care of them. With this, I have lots of experience of walking, feeding, bathing, and keeping pets happy! I'm currently working from home full-time, so can look after pets at any time! My hours are also very flexible so I'm able to go for walks during my working day. I live in a flat, with a secure back garden that is fenced in. The front door to the flat block is always kept locked. I am happy to do whatever is needed to keep your pet safe and happy!

Giulia is a fantastic cat sitter and took such good care of my boy. She followed all instructions, was very reliable, and provided me with a thorough update while I was away. Communication throughout was also superb. I can't recommend her enough and will definitely book her again in the future. Thanks a lot, Giulia!

Needed a last minute booking for someone to feed our cats and Leyla stepped in for us. She fed the cats each day and provided pictures. Unfortunately our cats were elusive when she actually visited but when she came round to be briefed, could tell she was really passionate about the cats. Would book again.

I want to thank Zita so much! If I could I put more than 5 stars to Zita. She is always perfect sitter for my cat. Zita is very responsible, friendly, carrying and always helpful it's not first time when I ask her to help with Nelly. Defetnily booked with her again. ❤️

Kayleigh was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, caring, and very cooperative throughout the whole process. Communication was excellent, and she made us feel completely at ease knowing our pet was in such good hands. We would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Kayleigh!

Highly recommend! This was our second booking with Andrea, for our two week holiday. She is so lovely and was happy to come visit us and Figg before her first sitting - to make sure she was a good match. Figg ADORE’S her and settled in with her straight away. I swear she likes Andrea more than us already 😂 She sent plenty of photos and videos every single visit, so we felt very confident that Figg was happy and cared for. No complaints! Thanks Andrea!

Irina was very helpful and cooperative and took good care of our furry boys while we were away. She was responsive to messages and easy to communicate with, and everything was handled as arranged. We appreciate her support and thank her for looking after them.

Sarah was so fantastic looking after our 3 cats! She arrived promptly for each visit and provided us with photos of our girls and lovely updates. They were all very happy when we arrived home and had clearly been well taken care of. Sarah also administer one of our cats daily medication well and kept her pain free. She always responded to messages very fast and went above and beyond. We will definitely be using Sarah again! Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Christina is wonderful with our pets. We have an older half blind dog and a shy indoor cat and they both LOVE Christina! This is one of the first times I've ever left the pets to be watched by a stranger, so going in I didn't feel completely at ease about it, but upon meeting Christina, I didn't feel like she was a stranger. She is kind, laid back, responsible, trustworthy, and both our dog and cat instantly liked her! Christina sets the standard for great pet-sitting! Thank you for loving our fur-babies 😄

Adriana Elena was absolutely amazing! She took fantastic care of my cats, Jogisha and Rocky, while we were away on holiday. When we returned, my fur babies looked happy and content! Adriana also went above and beyond by watering my flowers and plants on a very hot day. I couldn't imagine having a better cat sitter - she's truly top-notch! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
