“I am extremely pleased with the service Joshua provided whilst we were away. He is a reliable sitter, kind and caring, going the extra mile for the wellbeing of Misty, our family kitten. He ensured that Misty’s wellbeing comes first. Misty was well fed and received a lot of fuss. Joshua kept her area clean and tidy, which I am really grateful for. Thank you so much, Joshua! Top service! 😊”

“Stephanie looked after my cat, Rupert and went above and beyond. Rupert really took to Stephanie and enjoyed her company. He got plenty of fuss and cuddles. I got daily updates on how he was doing with lots of photos. I’ve returned home and he seems more calmer after I’ve been away. I totally recommend Stephanie to look after your cat/dog needs while you’re away.”

About: My partner and I have been raised alongside furry friends our entire lives, sadly we lost our pet of 14 years a while ago and whilst we are not ready to have another of own just yet, we do have a lot of love, snuggles and care to give whilst your away from them. I currently work from home so have plenty of time to care for your furry friend. If required, we can provide 3 walks per day with frequent toilet breaks during the day in a secured walled/fenced large garden. The morning walk will be before 08:0 with a walk at lunch (20 mins) and a longer walk in the evenings once my partner Martin returns home. We have parks locally and some fantastic long walks around Thrapston lakes. We have looked after a variety of dogs (and cats) and totally understand that every dog is different with their unique quirks, needs, wants and levels of attention, every visit is tailored to their needs whether just for the day or boarding overnight. We will ensure your dog is cared for as if our own and provide video/picture updates if required. I have completed a CPD Dog First Aid course and we have a doggie first aid kit on hand for any emergencies. I also have Pet Business Insurance with Protectivity, please ask if you would like to see a copy of the policy. The day would start with a walk before work (before 08:00) then your pets would be settled with me whilst I work from home. They will have access to the whole house and can lay peacefully on the couch in my study or in their own comfy beds if they want company or can retreat into their own space and watch the world go by out of the bay windows in the lounge. They would have frequent toilet/play breaks, lots of fussing and attention and a short lunchtime walk before a longer evening walk after work. My partner and co carer, Martin will join us on this evening walk which is usually taken around the local lakes or nearby parks. Snuggles and playtime in the evening before final toilet break, treat and bedtime. I have a fenced and walled garden which is totally secure, we currently do not have any pets of our own so yours will be our priority and we will only take pets from the same family in one booking. We will only bored dogs that have completed a meet & greet and the opportunity to walk on lead. This to make sure both your dog is as happy with us as we are with them. Whilst we will always try to accommodate a home from home experience and have toys/beds/treats available please ensure you pack their favourite toy/blanket or even an item of clothing that gives comfort to your pooch whilst your gone.
About: I am an experienced home boarder of over 9 years, licensed by North Northants Council (License Number 21/00355/AWBH), and have been awarded a 5 ⭐️rating. I've been raised alongside dogs. I have an abundance of repeat customers with happy dogs. I often see the owner having to drag them away from my door because they want to see me which is a testament to my treatment of them. Always plenty of walks, lots of fuss, cuddles and playtime. DBS checked. Also experienced in house sitting, pet visits and dog walking. I have looked after many dogs over the years with behavioural and/or walking issues and I always endeavour to try to get to the root of their issues with lots of reassurance, love and common sense. If house sitting, I am happy to cater for any other pets also at the property at the time of visiting. All dogs for home boarding or doggy daycare must have an up-to-date vaccination certificate. Also, dogs staying in excess of 3 nights, will be subject to a trial night beforehand to ensure that we bond together well (usual rate fee to be paid). Please also remember that my fees include the additional cost of my licence from the Council with all relevant updating and approvals carried out, full and comprehensive public liability insurance, plus the fact that I am not caring for your dog as an additional second income, or because I’m working from home- it’s because I’m passionate about dogs and their welfare 🐾🐶💕 Bookings are already being taken for 2024, so please book early to avoid disappointment. All meet and greets are free of charge, available at a convenient time for you, even at weekends. My days are entirely devoted to your dogs. I occasionally have other dog walks for Clients, but I will include your dog, if at all possible. It is unusual for dogs to be left alone for more than an hour as my partner and sister are on hand to help. All dogs are treated as part of the family. If allowed on furniture at home, then they are at mine. I endeavour to stick to the owners routine and requirements at all times but, ultimately, its the happiness and welfare of the dogs that is important to me.
“Tracey is a lovely and trustworthy person, I was skeptical at first but then I realized that she did look after my pets really well. I would rebook her if needed and definitely recommend her services.”

“Can’t thank Lauren enough for looking after our cats and tortoise whilst we went away. She was extremely flexible and went above and beyond to make sure they were looked after and given plenty of company . Updates were great and our cats settled with her straight away! Highly recommend x”

“Isabelle was absolutely fantastic for our greyhound- he has a new best friend! She is so considerate and loving with him. Isabelle spent time with him at home before taking him for a walk locally. Would highly recommend.”

About: I have been pet visiting for over 4 years and have loved many pets of my own over my lifetime including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and guinea pigs. I am caring, capable and dependable when it comes to your pet’s care and needs. I have my own liability insurance and am DBS checked. I offer a free meet and greet , where we can discuss all your pets needs. I offer a visiting service which can include feeding, giving medication, toileting, litter tray cleaning , hutch cleaning and of course lots of love and affection for your pets. Weekends and evenings are where I have most of my availability. References upon request. As I’m already busy with visits in the day I thought I’d add evenings and weekends to my schedule. The evening idea came from working with an owner who does shift work, it made me realise not all pet care is done during the day and I like to be versatile when it comes to pet care. I am owner lead when it comes to the safety of their pets . I will follow all instructions on gate closure, crating, stair gates , garden security and door locking . If medication is to be given I will follow and perform precise instructions from the owner.
“Saf was absolutely incredible with our two cats! She has a natural ability with animals and kept us well-informed with detailed updates and photos after each visit, which was so reassuring since it was our first time being abroad. She was always punctual and went above and beyond to care for our cats. One of them is extremely shy, while the other requires extra attention due to medical needs, and Saf handled both of them perfectly, they both loved her! We couldn’t recommend her highly enough!”

“This was the first time I’ve got anyone to look after my girls and was really nervous about leaving them in the hands of anyone else. Iryna came and met the girls prior to looking after them and instantly put me at ease. She was definitely an animal person! She brought treats and introduced herself to each of them with a stroke. One of my cats is quite timid but took to Iryna straight away. Iryna did everything I asked cleaned the litter tray, cleaned the bowls before feeding but also spent time with each of my 15 year olds. She went above and beyond putting my cats needs first, sweeping away any cat litter from the floor and I think she even groomed the girls and stayed a good half an hour if not more to keep them company! She sent me photos from every visit and messaged me to let me know they were all happy which was so nice. I would most definitely book her again and in fact have her lined up for dates in October. Unfortunately she couldn’t do some dates in June which I’m gutted about because I really would prefer her to look after my girls as I trust her whole heartedly. Very lovely lady and would recommend her- in fact I’ve told all my friends that have animals in my area about Iryna!”

“It was great to have Kirsty look after our two girls, she was very enthusiastic and lovely. Both cats gave her the seal of approval which can be difficult as one of them is very nervous of strangers. I would definitely recommend and use again.”

“The first time ever having to use a dog sitter, after moving here from Hertfordshire. Alex was absolutely perfect, and completed all my requests without fuss. I felt completely reassured, with updates during his stay. I will definitely book Alex again! ?”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and can’t imagine a home without them. My first golden retriever, Ben, taught me patience and care, and now my young son has a best friend in our golden retriever, Mabel. Having a dog as part of our family means I understand just how important it is to give them the same love, attention, and consistency you do. Whether it’s long countryside walks, playtime in the garden, or just plenty of fuss and cuddles, I make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and right at home. I’m confident caring for puppies who need extra guidance and senior dogs who may need a gentler pace. Your dog will be treated like part of our family — because that’s how we see them. I work from home nearly every day and only go into the office about three days a month, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, and regular walks throughout the week. When I do have office days, I simply won’t take bookings — so you can be confident that I’ll always be the one caring for your dog. Their wellbeing will never be left to anyone else. Because my routine is so home-based, caring for dogs naturally fits into my day. I’m already used to planning around feeding, toilet breaks, and exercise with our golden retriever, Mabel — and I’ll extend that same love and structure to your dog. At home, pets have plenty of space to feel comfortable and safe. We have an enclosed back garden that’s perfect for stretching legs, sniffing around, and enjoying fresh air. Just outside our door is a large town park, ideal for longer walks and meeting other dogs in a social but safe way. Inside, dogs are welcome to relax just like part of the family. Our golden retriever, Mabel, roams freely around the house both day and night, and visiting dogs are treated the same — with access to cozy spots, toys, and lots of fuss. Whether in our home or yours, I focus on keeping pets happy, secure, and settled with a balance of exercise, play, and downtime tailored to their needs.

Running my own business gives me the flexibility to be reliably available for your pet, with plenty of care and attention. As a self employed business woman, I have the freedom of picking and choosing my hours. With grown up children, my availability is more open. I have a fenced secure garden in a quiet area. Available to crate any dogs required. An outdoor cat who has his own space to roam.
About: Growing up in the Lincolnshire countryside I spent many a time looking after different dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have looked after Labradors, Staffies, Spaniels and many more. I am more than at home walking with, playing with and picking up after your dog. Dogs are an added family member and it's important you are comfortable leaving them in the hands of someone competent, therefore I am more than happy to meet before to get acquainted with your home and dogs. I am an outgoing person who loves the outdoors and myself and my partner would love a companion to join us on our many adventures.
