About: I have had pets since a very young age and have been in charge of walking, feeding, administering medicine and cleaning up after them. I recently also house sit for my friend with her cat and ensured they were well taken care of the entire time. I work in a school so am able to do walks after work at around 4pm. I am able to do stop ins before and after work if necessary and on my lunch break if not too far. I work Monday to Friday from 8:50 until 15:30 but am available all day on half terms. I am able to provide walks, feedings, brushing fur if needed and also taking out for toilets. I will play with the animal as well to ensure enrichment.
“Kelsey was great looking after our furbaby during a heatwave. She sent regular photos and asked us if there was anything else we needed to tackle the heat. We’ll be booking her again :)”

“I’m usually reluctant to have anyone look after my dogs that I haven’t known for years but both Poppy and Teddy took to Esther immediately which eased my worries immediately. Esther was great and so clearly a dog person. I will have no hesitation in booking Esther again”

About: I am currently a groom for horses, I have been for quite a few years, and I have had dogs my whole life from puppies to old age, so I have experience and the basic knowledge of looking after dogs. Family have also trusted me to look after their pets, feeding and letting them out in the garden everyday I am currently on part-time work, so I am free weekdays during the day at lunchtimes and I do not work late so I would be around. I also have a license, working in the local area so I am always around I am always attentive when looking after pets, checking the area for any signs they could get out or any ways they could injure themselves while playing or running around

About: Hello! I have worked at an animal rescue, caring for a wide range of different dog breeds (large and small), cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and a pig! I will meet the needs of both you and your pets, and be sure to keep in as much contact as wished by owner. Also working as a dog sitter/walker for a private owner, since 2019, which gave me many practical skills I can apply to other dog sittings. Please get in touch, I look forward to meeting you and your lovely companions! As I have recently finished university I am unemployed so would love to get as many pet sits into my weekly schedule. As my availability varies with summer plans, my calendar is kept strictly up-to-date. I am highly flexible during my free days and can easily accommodate walks any time, drop-ins, and dedicated overnight housesitting. I will ensure your house is kept perfectly tidy and update you on details of the day. I am very reliable and respectful. About: I’ve looked after mice to Shire horses, working dog to handbag pooch and love showing everyone what I get up to on my socials @ tonitebbs I currently run before and afterschool club locally, although want to do my influencing full time, therefore will be spending a lot more time at home. I have a very large and secure garden and a beautiful yet animal friendly home, that is currently being extended to a lot more space for more precious pets!
About: I’ve had pets my whole life - ranging from small pets to bigger (a collie/retriever cross!). I currently have a lovely, bubbly 2 year old cocker spaniel who is great with other dogs and very well behaved. We have 2 children - aged 6 and 4, who are very good with animals and know to give them space but it is still of course important that your dog is used to children if they are to come to our home. The house itself is in a village surrounded by fields so lots of off road walks - perfect for dogs to let off some steam. I don’t allow dogs upstairs but have a spacious mostly open plan downstairs so lots of room. I have blankets on the sofas so dogs are allowed to snuggle up on them. I also have a fully secure fenced garden. I work from home full time so can be very flexible in terms of routine. I take my own dog out everyday and so happy to take another dog or would have time for an extra walk if they’d prefer to walk alone. I have a fully fenced garden and spacious layout inside for your pup to have lots of room. My dog Milo is very well behaved and great with other dogs. Overnight Milo is not crated but I can accommodate in separate rooms if needed.

About: Hi! I’m Gina, a friendly and reliable animal lover based in Bedfordshire with a Level 3 qualification in Animal Science and hands-on experience working with a variety of animals. Through both my studies and work experience placements, I’ve gained experience caring for animals with different personalities, routines and needs. I’m confident handling dogs of different breeds and sizes and understand the importance of patience, safety and proper care. I’m passionate about making pets feel comfortable, happy and well looked after while their owners are away. Whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime, company or sticking closely to their usual routine, I always make sure each pet gets lots of attention and care. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with and happy to provide regular photo and message updates for peace of mind. Although I originally planned to pursue a career in animal care, I currently work as an estate agent in Cambridge Monday to Friday from 8am–5:30pm. During the week, I’m available for walks and drop-in visits around my working hours. I’m also happy to provide house sitting during the week if your pet is comfortable being left during these hours or already has daytime arrangements in place. I have full availability on weekends and can offer more flexible care, walks, drop-ins and overnight stays. I make sure pets are comfortable and stick closely to their normal routine, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime or company. I adapt to each pet’s personality and needs and always aim to keep them feeling safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos.

About: I love dogs and had a shih tzu named Pebbles for 13 years. I also was a horse owner for many years so I have a lot of experience taking care of animals. I work from home now and miss having a dog to shower with love and attention. My friends regularly ask me to dogsit for them when they are away. My schedule is flexible and I work on different time zones, so I have time during the day to accommodate for the specific needs of your dog. I have a small fenced area outside they can go out to during the day. I live and equal distance to Primrose Hill & Hampstead Heath, so lots of space to take them for long walks. I work from home and have lots of flexibility to take them out during the day. I am very adaptable to the needs of every dog I take care of. I have a nice lower ground floor flat with a walled off terrace outside. I usually keep the door open for them during the day to wander in and out as they please. Dogs are allowed to sleep in bed with me, except if the owner prefers otherwise if they are crate trained, etc.

About: I have taken care of different animals my whole life as I grew up with lots of different pets. The large dog I grew up with was very nervous around people and this gave me great experience with this sort of behaviour. I have always had cats as they suit my now lifestyle much better than a dog. I work full-time with two days in London (weds/thurs) on these days I would not be available until the evenings if needed. I live in Potton and happy to travel to the local villages and towns. Will work with you to understand where your pets likes to be in your home and garden. I have done home drop-ins before for neighbours and always very respectful of peoples home and spaces.

About: I am 30, with three children and a little yorkie. I have grown up around dogs and other pets. My own dog is currently 6 and she's a ball of energy. I'm out on regular walks with her and we are always looking for new fur friends to come along too. Hosting dogs is good fun for us and we enjoy seeing them come and go. We also love visiting your pets to keep them happy. M dog doesnt always come with me on visits so let me know if you'd like her to come or stay at home :). I want to keep your animals as chilled out and in as normal a routine as possible. Walking and feeding with regular toilet times is of paramount importance to me with the obligatory play time of course! :)
About: Hello, I am Lauren! I have taken care of many dog breeds, anxious or over excited and have been brought up with all kinds of dogs since I was young. My dad used to breed Alsatian’s and my granddad also trained Doberman’s. No dog is an issue, no task is a problem. Whatever your pet needs they will get :) I work for CBC and only look after 1 dog, board 1 dog at any given time, this isn’t my main job and therefore I stick to these rules and unless you have 2 pooches from the same household I cannot be lenient on this so my bookings do go quickly! I board for long stays at my own home and happy to do drop ins but boarding at your home are not possible as I have a 7 year old and insurance only covers me from my home. My property has a lovely garden, fenced and fake grass and i am not precious about poo and wees plus they would be walked daily around the local countryside and to note the property is gated so completely safe, however, I encourage meet and greets each time to ensure the owners are completely comfortable. Especially if your pooch is classed as large. The pooch will have company by my 7 year old who is in love with all shapes and sizes of dogs. Please note: I will not accept any pooches with anxiety towards children. They must be house trained. I will charge for any accidents they require intense cleaning. Please contact if have any questions. Lauren The routine will always be discussed with the owner and honesty is paramount from all parties. Preferred method would be having this documented so both parties are happy with the care in place for the pooch. Any specific instructions like key access must be sent via a private route to protect properties. My home is gated and fenced garden. Security at the home is brilliant. I have had no problems ever reported with run aways or lost pooches.

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Sandy
Heidi was brilliant looking after Barney! A reassuring, reliable friend for him while we were away. She kept us updated with fabulous photos to let us know all was well. Barney certainly loved his time with her and we would not hesitate to rebook when we go away again in the future.

Sharon was absolutely amazing in her care when it came to looking after our elderly cat. She went over and beyond to make sure that our cat was cared for why we were on holiday over a 9 day period. Sharon visted us before we went away and met our cat and made sure she had all required details that she needed to be able to look after Foxy while we were away. It was clear during the prior meetings that Sharon loves animals and would be the perfect person to look after our cat who has quite specific and additional needs. We had daily updates while we were away which meant we was able to relax and enjoy our holiday knowing our cat was in good hands. We are extremely grateful for the service we received and cannot rate Sharon highly enough.
