“Pippin was very well looked after by Leonidas and seemed to have a lovely time and came back very happy and tired out! We appreciated the daily updates and easy communication. Many thanks!”

“Fabulous dog sitter for Brewster! Rebecca and her daughter gave him a lovely home from home and we could see from the gorgeous photos just how well he had settled. Lots of communication and very friendly!”

“As always, Teddy had an amazing time. Teddy can't wait to visit again. It's nice to know that we can go away and relax knowing he is safe and having fun. I would recommend to anyone.”

“Lauren has been great with Maui! She made me feel completely at ease about leaving my pup with her and her partner, she is lovely, sent me regular updates about his wellbeing and probably spoiled him a bit.🤭 We were very happy with the experience and we'll definitely book with Lauren again.”

“As always Ollie had great time staying with Jo and Ross. He is always happy when he arrives to stay and we know Ollie will be taken care of very well. That always puts our minds at rest and means we can enjoy our breaks knowing Ollie is in very safe hands. Thank you again for looking after our boy!”
“What a special person Sue is! Our dog Rolo is very anxious and reactive and so before we booked for Sue to have him for a week, we sorted an overnight trial. We had never left him before. Rolo was very happy and went straight in to play and was settled - until bed time when he howled during the night. However, Sue was amazing with him, reassuring and kind enough to have another go at a trial run… see next review :)”

“The worry I had about leaving Zen is that he has spent much of his life in kennels as a racer and then between different failed rehomings. I couldn’t have asked for more with John. John listened to my concerns (not that I needed to have any with John) and gave Zen the care he needs. I could not rate John highly enough. I will definitely be rebooking”

About: Hey, I’m Elly! I absolutely adore dogs. I had a beautiful Yorkie for 16 years, who sadly passed a few years ago, and still have such a soft spot for all dogs! As a family, we have lots of experience in caring from puppies to senior dogs. We have two kind, gentle children aged 4 and 6, so it’s important that any dog is friendly and comfortable around young kids. I look forward to caring for your fur babies! 🐾❤️ I work from home full time, so having a dog for company during the day would be lovely. I go for long walks over the meadows on my lunch break, and we have a big garden that’s perfect for playing ball. We’re a very outdoorsy family who spend weekends out on walks and little hikes — a dog would fit right in. We have a large fenced garden for your dog to explore, and we have lots of local walks and parks for your fur baby. All sitting will be done at our home.
“My dog spent a lovely weekend with Anna and her husband, I was kept up to date and sent photos. My dachshund doesn't like new people but took to Anna instantly. I was happy knowing she was loved and well looked after while we attended a wedding.”

“Alessia looked after to Simba very well. Our Simba had a great time, she seems very relax on the photos. Alessia is very good at communication.Lots of photos and messages :) Highly reccommended!!! Need to book another holiday..”

“Millie had a wonderful time with Jenny. She enjoyed lots of walks, cuddles and was happy and relaxed when we collected her. Jenny shared plenty of videos and pictures too so it was lovely to be kept up to date.”

“Poppy is a temperamental soul, however from the first meet and greet, I knew Poppy would be ok.. bouncing about freely in Alicja's house.. I knew then she would be fine with them, I got some pics of the day, so was kept up to date. I would definitely feel confidant to leave Poppy in Alicja's capable hands...”

“Jerry spent a week with Gerda and he had a great time! I’ve been kept updated throughout his stay with pictures and will definitely recommend her services to anyone in Bedford and surroundings who’s is in need of a dog sitter.”

About: I would love to have a dog of my own but my circumstances mean I cant take on the responsibility at the moment. I had a dog with my ex partner but we had to have him put to sleep just over a year ago and I miss him terribly. I absolutely love dogs and will take the best care of yours whilst you are away/at work on the days Im not working. I regularly look after friends dogs when they are away or need help whilst theyre at work. Im currently working part time. Thursday-Saturday. My other days I love going out for a walk in the mornings down by the river or walking into town to grab a coffee (and a pupacino if allowed) Love to sit and chill watching some Netflix. I have a fenced off good size garden. Ideal for when we are just chilling at home. Im more than happy to have dogs up on the sofa with me and happy for them to sleep in the bedroom with me if thats what they are used to. Also happy to crate them if that's what you do at home. I will go by your instructions. Same with treats and feeding I will go by your guidance but your dog will be very well cared for and very spoilt with love whilst in my care.
“Clare is an excellent dog sitter. She is patient, kind, and communicates clearly, and our dog always seems happy and well cared for when we pick him up. I would highly recommend her. Her gentle, soft-spoken manner is especially helpful for our anxious dog.”

“Tania was really lovely and Isla seemed to fit right in for her 3 night stay. Tania kept me posted with photos and updates and Isla also enjoyed the company of Finley, Tania's gorgeous lab. I would definitely recommend Tania to anyone who is looking for peace of mind when having to leave their furbabies. Thanks again Tania, Isla will definitely be back for another visit 😊”

“Rocky loved staying with Meadow. He came back very happy. We received updates throughout the day. Meadow was very caring towards Rocky which instantly made us feel at ease. And Rocky looked happy and relaxed in all our updated. Will definitely be contacting Meadow again when we need dog boarding 😊 x”
“Lauren was absolutely amazing. We were a little nervous about leaving our dog with a sitter for the first time but our fears were allayed as soon as we met her. She is extremely friendly, clearly loves dogs and updated us regularly on how our dog was doing. Won't hesitate to book her again when needed.”

“Kelsey was great looking after our furbaby during a heatwave. She sent regular photos and asked us if there was anything else we needed to tackle the heat. We’ll be booking her again :)”

“Rhianna did a fantastic job of looking after my cats. Loved the photos and updates of the drop ins. Very good at communicating too. Would definitely book Rhianna again. Thankyou Rhianna 😁”

About: I confess I love dogs more than cats, hehe. That's just a family joke/discussion topic! .... I do love animals in general and have done pet sitting via this page, Trusted Housesitters and World Packers ... Thought that doing it here would also be an opportunity to fund my studies with something I like to do. I consider myself relieable and organised. I'm also ready to adapt and work under specific instructions/needs. I'm studying and doing part time work at the moment. So I have good availability at the moment. I can also be very flexible and able to do last minute pet care, specially if it is not too far from me. We strive to always cater for the pet's needs ... undertand the pet's habits and routines. And I guess loving what you do and putting yourself on other people's shoes is always important to do alaways the best I can.

About: I have a Foundation Degree and Level 3 qualification in Animal Management, with a strong understanding of feline welfare, behaviour and care. I’ve also regularly cat sat for friends, family and others over the past eight years, caring for cats with a range of personalities and needs.

“Vikki was wonderful with both of my cats and having her visit them each day was a huge reassurance to me and my children whilst we were on holiday. Communication was fantastic and Vikki went the extra mile watering my plants and even trying to help fix my Catflap which malfunctioned due to a technical problem in the first few days of my holiday. She found a working solution for us until I get home. She kept me updated with photos and reports so I could see how the cats were doing and they were enjoying being fussed. All the cat food packets were cleared into the main bin and Vikki even popped my bin out on bin day. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Vikki again, or to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a reliable, friendly and caring Sitter.”

“Esther looked after our house, garden and two indoor cats for a week whilst we went on holiday. All went well, we returned to two happy cats, a lovely clean and tidy house and the garden had been watered and outside bins emptied. It was in a heatwave but there were no complaints, Esther was friendly and sent photos and updates on the cats everyday, a very capable lady to care for your home and pets whilst you are away.”

“charlotte & molly are simply amazing - taking notes upon first visit and very attentive to all the little details, sending updates and spending quality time with the cats, keeping them happy and myself at ease knowing they will take care of everything ”

About: I offer reliable drop-in visits for cats, giving owners complete peace of mind while they are away on holiday or at work. I have cared for cats throughout my life and understand how important it is to respect their unique personalities, boundaries, and routines. In addition to personal experience with household pets, my background in animal husbandry and welfare gives me a calm, patient approach to feline care. During drop-in visits, I handle fresh food, water, litter box cleaning, and gentle play or quiet companionship—depending on whether your cat loves attention or prefers their own space. I am dedicated to keeping your cat safe, happy, and relaxed in their home environment.

About: I have taken care of cats since being a child looking after my own but also neighbours and family cats. My own cat is 9 and is on medication daily, I think I am pretty good at reading a cats mood after owning a very sassy one myself. As well as my own cat I regularly take care of a Maine Coon in my home too

About: I am 30, with three children and a little yorkie. I have grown up around dogs and other pets. My own dog is currently 6 and she's a ball of energy. I'm out on regular walks with her and we are always looking for new fur friends to come along too. Hosting dogs is good fun for us and we enjoy seeing them come and go. We also love visiting your pets to keep them happy. M dog doesnt always come with me on visits so let me know if you'd like her to come or stay at home :). I want to keep your animals as chilled out and in as normal a routine as possible. Walking and feeding with regular toilet times is of paramount importance to me with the obligatory play time of course! :)

About: I have had both cats and dogs in the past, from Akita X Ridgeback, English Bulldog, Husky, Whippet X Saluki X Collie, as well as a lovely cat for 10 years. Dogs have ranged from puppies, young (cheeky and teething) dogs to elderly, so I have experience with all ages! I absolutely adore both cats and dogs amd enjoy training with treats and taking them for walks. Unfortunately, with travelling into the office twice a week, it's not feasible for me to have a pet of my own now but I would love to look after your fur baby and treat him/her like my own. They'd get lots of cuddles and attention! I currently work full-time and work from home Wed-Fri. I would love some company during the day and would love to look after your fur baby! I have a small garden and a very large park around a 2 minute walk from me to take them for a walk at lunch time. I'll treat them like my own and give them all the attention and cuddles they need. I have a small enclosed garden at the back. If you have any specific requests in regards to looking after your pet, please let me know and I can accommodate.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands on experience caring for family dogs as well as my own. From daily walks to playtime and plenty of cuddles, I know how important it is to give pets the attention and love they deserve. Training has been a big part of my journey as a pet parent, so I’m patient, consistent, and always focused on keeping pets happy and well-behaved. Whether it’s exercise, companionship, or just some extra TLC, I’ll treat your furry family members like my own. I work part time 1-3 days a week and I spend the rest of my time going for long walks or going to the gym so have plenty of time in between. I have a shared garden with 2 elderly dogs but they spend more time in their own home and I have a 4 month old puppy who loves all dogs
About: I’ve had pets my whole life - ranging from small pets to bigger (a collie/retriever cross!). I currently have a lovely, bubbly 2 year old cocker spaniel who is great with other dogs and very well behaved. We have 2 children - aged 6 and 4, who are very good with animals and know to give them space but it is still of course important that your dog is used to children if they are to come to our home. The house itself is in a village surrounded by fields so lots of off road walks - perfect for dogs to let off some steam. I don’t allow dogs upstairs but have a spacious mostly open plan downstairs so lots of room. I have blankets on the sofas so dogs are allowed to snuggle up on them. I also have a fully secure fenced garden. I work from home full time so can be very flexible in terms of routine. I take my own dog out everyday and so happy to take another dog or would have time for an extra walk if they’d prefer to walk alone. I have a fully fenced garden and spacious layout inside for your pup to have lots of room. My dog Milo is very well behaved and great with other dogs. Overnight Milo is not crated but I can accommodate in separate rooms if needed.
About: Hi there! I’m Alessandra and mum of a cheeky toy cockapoo Luna. I have always grown up with dogs, so wanted one of my own. Now, I work from home running my own business and Luna is my companion! I fully believe that all dogs that come into my home are treated as part of the family so there is nowhere they aren’t allowed to go. I live in a flat alone but live round the corner from a spacious country park so am available for walks whenever suits your schedule and needs. If your little angel is in my care, they will be treated like one of my own. I currently have my own business and work from home so am fully flexible! I’m available for boarding, walks and day care. I don’t drive unfortunately so I may not be able to travel to you. I have a 18 month old girl toy cockapoo called Luna so am well versed with puppy care. I do not have a garden but I am round the corner from a lovely country park and other green spaces. I have a female puppy Luna who loves to make friends and would love to keep your dog company! Please note: For house sits and dog boarding, Luna will be with me. She’s house trained, doesn’t bark and is super friendly towards other dogs. For drop ins and walks, I can leave Luna at home if your pet loves one to one attention.
“Sue was absolutely amazing with Azula! She was lovely and patient. Azula, is a very energetic girl, but came home absolutely exhausted, this shows she had lots of fun. Sue kept me updated with regular pictures which was a bonus”

“I can't recommend Alessia enough for dog sitting! She took exceptional care of my Ralph during his first daycare with her. Her warm demeanor and genuine love for dogs made me feel at ease. Ralph came back happy and well-adjusted, which speaks volumes about her attention to detail and affection. I’ll definitely be booking her again for future dog sitting! 5 stars all around! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. My grandparents lived on a farm with lots of dogs, so I grew up feeding them, grooming them, bathing them, and just taking care of them like they were mine. I got my own dog, Pongo, about 12 years ago. He was the happiest, cuddliest Dalmatian and taught me everything from basic training to caring for a senior dog. In 2020, we added a second dog, Nairobi, who came from a Romanian rescue. She arrived with a lot of fear and emotional scars, so I spent a lot of time working with her, building trust, and helping her come out of her shell. Now she’s a, let's say, quirky dog who gets along great with others. Because of all this, I’m very comfortable with puppies, rescue dogs, and dogs who need a little extra patience or emotional support. After losing Pongo in 2024, Nairobi would love a friendly companion—so any dog I watch gets not just my care, but a sweet playmate if they want one. I treat every dog like family, because that’s how I was raised. I'm currently working from home, so I will have plenty of time to play with your doggos. I'm available weekdays and weekends at any time! When I’m caring for pets in my home, my main focus is making them feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family. I keep their routine as close to normal as possible—meals, walks, rest time, and whatever habits they’re used to. I also have a fully fenced garden where they can explore and enjoy the outdoors. As soon as the weather warms up, Nairobi spends most of her day out there sunbathing and only comes inside for water or a quick cool-down, and visiting dogs usually love doing the same. If a pet is staying overnight, especially during fireworks season, I make sure our last walk is earlier in the evening so everyone is settled before the noise begins. Our house has very good sound insulation, and with the TV on you can barely hear anything from outside, which helps dogs stay calm and comfortable. If we’re just popping in for walks, Nairobi and I always take our time. She loves to explore and sniff every single leaf, so we’re never in a rush. If your dog enjoys it, we can also play fetch or add in some extra playtime to make the walk even more fun. Overall, I do everything I can to make pets feel at home and cared for, just like I do with my own dog.

Because I offer walking and drop-in visits, your dog stays completely comfortable and secure in their own familiar environment. When visiting your home, I am highly respectful of your property and security routines. On walks, your dog's safety is my absolute priority. My background in farm animal welfare, fostering, and canine rehabilitation (including physiotherapy) means I am highly vigilant, patient, and completely confident handling dogs with special medical or behavioral needs.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and love being around them. I’m very happy to spend my personal time with such wonderful animals Currently work from home 3 days a week so I have plenty of time to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon or evening. Including weekends. I have a fenced back garden with lots of grass and plenty of room for dogs to feel comfortable in, any size is not a problem
About: I am a zookeeper full time, but do pet sitting part time. I have a lot of animal knowledge that other sitters don’t have. I am also extremely patient which is important when working with animals I can do mornings and evenings, day visits may vary depending on the date as my work rota isn’t always the same so availability can vary I am experienced in caring for a variety of animals and have many skills/knowledge to help me look after pets, I am animal first aid trained and also can help with any animal training

About: Hi! My name's Eloise! I've been the proud parent to 2 beautiful Greyhounds and hopefully will be again in the near future. Unfortunately we lost our dear Wally at Christmas so am excited to meet some new furry friends :) Animals really are the best company! Cats are also always welcome, and I very much respect their independent snoozy nature aha! In my day to day life I'm a Prop Maker for Film and TV, so being active is very much a big part of my life. Going on long walks and playing fetch with any excitable friends I'm pretty accustomed too :) Hopefully I'll get to see you soon! Xxx I'm a Prop Maker for Film and TV, and so in between contracts and after work I find myself with a lot of free time! In these quiet periods I'm completely free to come and house sit, walk and play! After bonding with a pet, I'd be more than happy to fit in their walks after work in the evenings should any Prop Making gigs come up! I'm very aware of different pets personalities and their needs when it comes to walking and being around other pets. Being the previous owner to two Greyhounds, one of which was very nervous, I understand to respect boundaries and gently encourage when needed. I don't want any pets to come to any harm or be unhappy in my care, so I make sure to pay extra attention to their responses and behaviour.
“Kelsey was great, Willow really liked her, she was great at helping her get over her nerves at the beginning of the walk. Really punctual, Willow seemed to have a lovely time, would definitely recommend :)”

About: Hi! I’m Gina, a friendly and reliable animal lover based in Bedfordshire with a Level 3 qualification in Animal Science and hands-on experience working with a variety of animals. Through both my studies and work experience placements, I’ve gained experience caring for animals with different personalities, routines and needs. I’m confident handling dogs of different breeds and sizes and understand the importance of patience, safety and proper care. I’m passionate about making pets feel comfortable, happy and well looked after while their owners are away. Whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime, company or sticking closely to their usual routine, I always make sure each pet gets lots of attention and care. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with and happy to provide regular photo and message updates for peace of mind. Although I originally planned to pursue a career in animal care, I currently work as an estate agent in Cambridge Monday to Friday from 8am–5:30pm. During the week, I’m available for walks and drop-in visits around my working hours. I’m also happy to provide house sitting during the week if your pet is comfortable being left during these hours or already has daytime arrangements in place. I have full availability on weekends and can offer more flexible care, walks, drop-ins and overnight stays. I make sure pets are comfortable and stick closely to their normal routine, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime or company. I adapt to each pet’s personality and needs and always aim to keep them feeling safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos.
About: I've taken care of my own dog since I was 11. Friends, families, and neighbours have relied on me to take care of theirs too. I have currently finished my A-Levels, so have a long summer ahead! I work on Saturdays so that is the only day that is unavailable. I have a fenced garden and I am surrounded by fields and forests, which loads of the neighbourhood dogs and other animals love to enjoy.

About: My hubby and I have many years pet experience between us. I ( Esther) grew up on a small holding with rabbits, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, sheep, cows and horses. Andy has always had pet dogs. We have boarded dogs for Guide Dogs for 5 years and have now ventured into pet sitting and have 2 regular clients already. We are in our 50's ( just, for me!) and feel priviledged to be able to look after peoples loved ones in their own home whilst they are away. We look forward to hopefully be able to do the same for you too. We are both retired so are free and available the majority of the time Monday to Sunday including bank holidays, unless already doing another pet sit. We follow all instructions that you ask of us in terms of security and safety of your home/pets. We always keep dogs on the lead when walking them and don't take then out if the weather is too hot, unless we can do this in the cool of three day.

“Katie's been brilliant! She sent me videos and pictures of Boni having fun on her walks and she was always on time. Definitely recommend her and will book further walks for Boni. Thank you very much Katie!”

About: With years of hands-on experience caring for dogs & puppies. I provide dependable, loving care tailored to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s energetic playtime, gentle attention for senior pets, or administering medication, I make sure every animal in my care feels safe, happy, and loved. I treat every pet as if they were my own—earning trust, building routines, and making sure their days are filled with comfort, companionship, and care. Pet care is my full-time focus, which means your pet will get consistent, dedicated attention throughout the day. Since I don’t work outside the home, I’m available for flexible scheduling, last-minute bookings, and extended stays. I’m home the majority of the day, so your pet will never be left alone for long periods—and will always have someone nearby for cuddles, potty breaks, playtime, or just comforting company. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where dogs can relax, play, and feel at home. I follow each pet’s routine closely—from feeding and walks to medication and bedtime—to ensure a smooth, stress-free experience. I take the time to build trust with both pets and their owners, offering regular updates, photos, and open communication so you can feel confident while you’re away.
