She even did extra visits for me / stayed longer hours at times to keep them company when I asked . She would also message me straight away if she felt anything was off, such as they were eating less, seemed bored etc and she would be willing to whatever was needed to make sure they were okay. I had such a great holiday, didn’t have to worry about the cats at all, as I realised they were in really good hands!”
“Carla was a wonderful and caring sitter for our two kitties while we were away on holiday. Both of our cats seemed to absolutely adore her--and you know how picky cats can be about people! I personally loved her for her meticulousness in learning about our cats and commitment to caring for them precisely as requested. She was also very responsive to all of my messages. One of our cats is quite finicky about her litter and is prone to accidents if everything isn't exactly to her liking. This same cat also developed some tummy trouble that required adjustments to her diet, keeping a close eye on her behaviour after meals, and checking the house at every visit for signs that she'd been ill. Carla sent us daily updates on this cat's health in addition to her regular updates via Rover Cards, which really helped to put our minds at ease while we were away. We highly recommend Carla and will absolutely be looking forward to having her care for our pets again in the future.”

About: I’ve professionally taken care of dogs locally for almost 5 years, from Huskies, Labradors, Cocker-Spaniels to a German Short-haired Pointer that chased a sheep into a canal for me to rescue! 😅 Additionally, my side job as a video editor allows my schedule to be super flexible, allowing me to drive over to you whenever and wherever I am needed! Safety for your pets and respecting your wishes are of utmost importance to me. Cleanliness also takes priority when visiting homes, and I take extra care in respecting property, not just in houses but on walks to, making sure to keep dogs on leads at all times if requested, and making sure they don’t put themselves in harms way.

About: I have always cared for pets at my home from dogs to cats, stick insects to gerbils, you name it! And my passion for animal care led me to completing my BSc Animal Science (Pet Behaviour and Welfare) degree at university for four years. I have the practical and theory skills to handle all kinds of pet care, including veterinary work and husbandry experience. My pet behaviour pathway at university gave me the opportunity to work for a pet behaviour clinic for a year specialising in dog behaviour and training, so I know the patience and love required to care for and train the most anxious pets. It can take time to build trust and my policy is always to do so with a gentle hand and maybe a treat or two! I'm currently working part time so have a flexible schedule for your pets' care including weekend stays, day visits, walks, feeding and more.
