About: I have had dogs since I was 5 years old - a variety of breeds. I offer a home from home service and try to keep to your dogs normal routines. I have 2 dogs of my own - a Golden Retriever and a Cockapoo - both have exceptional temperaments and are very used to other dogs visiting. I currently work part time from home on Monday to Weds lunch time hence my available times showing as Thursday to Sunday although the beginning of the week isn’t totally out of the question. When I have dogs staying I will ensure that I am around all the time. I have a large secure garden and two friendly dogs. No other pets. I will keep your dogs routine as close to their normal pattern as possible.

About: I’ve had dogs around me for most of my life, and I currently have a 13-year-old dachshund who has taught me a lot over the years! I’ve cared for her from her younger, more energetic days right through to being a senior, so I’m very comfortable with both younger dogs and older dogs who need a little more patience and attention. I’m used to giving medication, following specific feeding routines and managing special diets, and I know how important it is to follow the routine that a dog is used to. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day for company, cuddles, toilet breaks and keeping an eye on everyone. We also have a secure fenced garden, which is great for little dogs to potter around in safely. I’m only looking to care for small dogs, as that’s what I know and love best. My aim is really simple – to give your dog a safe, calm and loving home while you’re away, and to look after them the way I’d want someone to look after mine. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day and your dog will have plenty of company. I can easily fit walks, garden breaks, feeding and playtime around my day, and I’m happy to follow the routine your dog is used to at home. I also understand that older dogs may prefer a slower pace and more rest, while younger dogs might need a little more activity and attention. I have a secure, fully fenced garden and a calm home that I share with my 13-year-old dachshund, Coco. I only take small dogs and want them to feel safe and comfortable while they’re here. I’m happy to follow specific feeding routines, special diets and medication schedules, and I’ll always follow any care instructions you leave with me. Dogs are welcome to bring their own beds, blankets and favourite toys to help them settle in. We do keep a couple of house rules – dogs don’t sleep in our bed or go on the sofa – but they’ll have their own cosy spaces to relax and sleep. Most importantly, I’ll treat your little one with the same care and attention I’d want for my Coco.
“We left our 3yo Labradoodle, Honey Bea, in the care of Sorrel for a week in July. Sorrel was superb. Honey only has a little social experience with other dogs and can be a bit nervous. But Sorrel's knowledge and experience really shone through. Throughout the week she kept us updated with text and pictures and, by the end of the week, Honey was happily mixing with Sorrel's dogs, which was an achievement all in itself! All in all, we couldn't be happier with Honey's boarding experience and would recommend Sorrel to other dog owners looking for a trusted place to board their pets. Will definitely use again. About: I've had pugs for life. Raised from puppies and was there aiding my beautiful first pug for the birth of my bonded pairs puppies. I now have 2 young pugs which I adore along with my 4 children. I am blessed enough to work from home, and I home educate one of my daughters who is also passionate about caring for animals. We've looked after friends dogs at times and now know it's time to share the love. We want to build on caring for small dogs specifically. We are a home from home set up and your dog will be as free and loved here as our own. I currently work part time from home, so am always available for cuddles and play and walks every day. Toilet breaks are frequent. I can care for diabetic dogs and administer insulin and medications where needed as I've cared for dogs with needs and had my own diabetic dog. I have a fenced garden, a large garden for play, there's comforts in every room. I have 2 dogs for company and 4 children between 6 and 14 and we all love pugs. Your pugs are welcome to lay and sleep on all sofas and beds and might come home a little spoilt.

I will always follow your rules and provide your pet with the absolute best care possible when you're away. I am always on time and will never cancel short notice. I am someone you can rely on. I try to keep your pets routine as similar to yours as possible, and do things with your pet that they enjoy. My husband and I were members of a different house sitting site for some years and have really enjoyed our house-sits so far and have had no complaint with may repeat stays. We own our own home and house sit for family & friends, feed neighbour's cats, walk and feed their dogs, feed and clean rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. We would look after your animals and home as if they were our own, watering the garden etc. I work full time as a legal secretary, so currently can ony take sits where the dog may be left during the day, or I am happy to sit at weekends. A new place and people is always stressful for your dog or cat so I understand that most people would like to have their animal looked after in their own home where they will have a routine as this helps them to relax as they know what to expect from me. I will always put your pet first. I work full time so currently am only able to sit for animals that can be left during the day. I am happy to sit weekends. Unfortunately I do not board dogs or cats at my house but am very happy for you to bring your Bunnys in their hutch round

In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018.
