About: I am a paediatric nurse by profession and have a lot of free time around shifts! I have two cats, my indoor cat Cleo and outdoor adopted cat Norman! Myself and my partner dog sit for Bear a 7 year old Pomchi semi regularly but I am looking to meet some new furry friends I work shifts, normally 2/3 a week and on my days off have no strict routine! I have a lot of free time and am looking to fill it! I enjoy getting outside on my days off and long walks would suit me perfectly! I am comfortable caring for dogs from puppy to elderly. About: I have always had a dog since I was born, now on my fourth Golden Retriever! I have also helped look after family and friends dogs! I have experience with puppies and older dogs, with my dog only being 7 months old so just experienced the puppy stages again! If needed, I can do a morning walk, a walk during my lunch break and an evening walk. On Fridays I work an evening shift at a pub, so I would only be available with your pet from around 5pm–6pm before leaving for work and returning around midnight. Because of this I usually avoid Friday bookings, but I’m happy to discuss it with owners if this schedule still suits their pet. On Saturdays I work at the pub from 12pm–6pm, so I’m available in the morning and again in the evening. I am fully available on Sundays. I currently offer pet care in the owner’s home rather than bringing pets to my own home. I find that many animals feel much more relaxed and comfortable staying in their familiar environment, where they have their usual routine, smells and surroundings. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, calm and well cared for while their owners are away. Since having my daughter, I now work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for dog walking during the day. I study part time and have a lot of free time to devote to caring for lovely dogs! I have a large wall garden (photographed) with electric gates. Very secure. Dogs have access to the whole house and access to the garden at all times. Smaller dogs or dogs with different preferences can do less and have constant supervision. Over the past few years I have fostered dogs, had hound puppies in for summer training, cared for elderly and disabled dogs; as well as full time care of my lovely collie.
