About: Growing up I've always had animals, including dogs, cats. I used to spend a few weeks a year with my family on my uncles farm helping out. I had a black lab cross, but lost him 2 years ago, he was beautiful although a little crazy, but loved long country walks and plenty of cuddles. I regularly look after my mums spaniel, hes very active although has alot of medication. I love having him because it means we can enjoy spending time together with an animal. I worked in a veterinary practise for two years before getting pregnant because animals is a big passion. I was training to be a vet nurse before having my son, Joey. The opportunity to house sit and spend time with your pets means we can enjoy our travel lifestyle whilst pursuing our passion with animals. In the last 10 years we've been all over the world and enjoyed time together with a variety of animals including dogs, cats. I love the fact that we can actually relax in a home environment with your furry family members. Last year we lived in Brazil and rescued a sick dog and 5 abandoned kittens from the streets, we nursed them to health and they became part of the family, which is why it was tough letting them go, but our goal was to find loving new homes for them which we managed to do. I host Air Bnb and stay in mainly Airbnbs at the moment when away, therefore know the responsibility of looking after someone else home, I have also made some great friends through this site. Hello there! My name is Cara. I currently work remotely as an online tutor, but I love languages and art and nature. Working from home, means lots of flexibility and time with your furry family members! I am a big animal lover and have always had them in my life. Although exploring new places means we can't have a furry family member full time, we have looked after dogs, cats. I rescued a dog and 5 kittens from the streets of Brazil when living there last year and successfully re-homed them. We will be sure to update you with lots of pictures. Being outdoors is my favourite hobby and sharing that experience together with an animal is something we thrive on. Looking forward to meeting you and you furry/ or not animal family members soon! Cara and Joey You pets will be welcomed into my home and will enjoy every minute here. Lots of country side in our quiet village and as I work from home, they will have plenty of time with me.

Helen was great. My pooch seemed happy and well when I got home after a long day at work. Helen even put one of our escaped hens away - going above and beyond the dog walks we'd asked her to do. I'll definitely book Helen again 😊

Today Oscar visited us again, my dogs recognised him immediately and were very happy of seeing him again. This time after walking my 2 boxers together he also helped me to teach them how to use a special stair for the car boot which I have recently purchased. I can tell that the whole experience was very positive. I learn a lot from Oscar every time on how to interact with my dogs, how to create an easy going environment for the future. Visibly he has a wealth of knowledge on training dogs and control them with kindness, calmness and good energy.

About: I'M BACK! After taking 6 months off to breed and train my next generation of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, I am happy to say that I am available again! I own two dogs, one cat and two horses, some of whom you can see on my profile! I would definitely say that I am an animal person haha! Over the years, I have learnt dog training skills such as how to remedy a dog who pulls on the lead or jumps up. I am experienced in administering medication for both dogs and cats and can even bathe them for you if needed! I am more than happy to do drop-ins for cats to feed and top up their water when needed if you don’t need me to stay over night! If you have any other small pets, I'm more than happy and experienced in looking after them for you whilst you're away (I grew up with mice, rabbits and Giant African Snails)! If you have horses, there is no need to put them into livery either, as I can look after them too when you go away! A bit about myself: I work from home which fits in great with dog sitting, as all I have to do is remember to bring my laptop with me! Don't worry, your pets will get plenty of exercise, socialisation and of course lots of love and care with me! Working from home means I am able to be around your pets all day, as long as I remember to bring my laptop with me! Our home has a fully secure terraced garden with 6ft+ old stone walls, so there is no escaping! We have many wonderful walks on our doorstep and our house location is quiet and safe. We take the dogs on secure, off-road country walks, and especially enjoy going for walks in the woods!

About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, including puppies, senior pets, and nervous animals. I focus on creating a calm and safe environment where pets feel comfortable and can stick closely to their normal routines. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and reliability. I take time to understand each pet’s individual needs, whether that’s extra patience on walks, structured routines, or gentle care for older pets. I always aim to build trust quickly with both pets and owners, and I provide clear, regular updates so owners feel reassured while they are away. My partner also frequently assists me with pet care and often stays with me during house sits. He has been around animals his entire life, and his mum works in the animal care field, so he grew up helping to care for a variety of pets and is very confident and comfortable around them. My sister also occasionally helps out, she has just completed her extended level 3 Animal care Qualification and has years of animal and pet work experience. Together, we provide plenty of companionship, attention, and consistency, helping pets feel settled and secure while their owners are away. I am punctual, responsible, and committed to making sure every pet is well cared for, exercised, and given plenty of attention. I am currently working and studying from home so I am available for all pet needs and services. Caring for pets is already apart of my daily routine having many pets myself. I’m able to care for pets both in my own home and in the pet owner’s home, depending on what is most comfortable for the pet and preferred by the owner. When caring for pets in the owner’s home, I aim to keep their routine as normal as possible. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime, and any specific instructions such as medication. I also make sure the home is left clean and secure, and I provide regular updates with photos so the owner has peace of mind. When caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment. I ensure they have a comfortable space, follow their usual feeding routine, and give them plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel relaxed and cared for during their stay. In both cases, my priority is always the pet’s wellbeing, comfort, and safety.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and have always been a big animal lover. I always am first to volunteer to look after family & friends dogs - I have a lot of love to give! I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, which I use to help dogs feel comfortable and cared for. Whether it’s energetic puppies who need structure or older dogs who need gentler care, I know how to adapt to their needs. About: Experienced and reliable dog carer with a strong background in both independent and structured settings. Previously ran a successful dog-walking business before transitioning into full-time travel, where I’ve spent the past three years pet-sitting and working with dogs across Asia, Australia, Central America, and South America. My experience includes caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs, as well as hands-on work in dog shelters in Mexico and Australia. Confident in handling multiple dogs, maintaining routines, and ensuring each animal receives attentive, individual care. Working full-time ( mon- fri) with a remote job, the job is not very demanding and doesn’t need me at my desk the whole time so in between tasks I can play around and let them out for a potty break. I care for pets in the owner’s home by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible, keeping feeding times, walks, play, and rest consistent to reduce stress. I make sure they feel comfortable in their own environment by giving them attention, exercise, and mental stimulation suited to their personality and energy levels. I keep the home clean and organised, follow any specific instructions closely, and monitor their health and behaviour throughout. I also provide regular updates so owners feel confident their pet is safe, settled, and well cared for in their absence.

About: I have had various pets growing up - a dog since I was 11. I previously worked for a dog kennels, walking the dogs and helping with feeding and cleaning. Prior to using Rover, I had lots of experience looking after neighbours and friends dogs whilst they were away. I currently work freelance from home so have a flexible schedule. I like to travel but in between travelling I’m always eager to help with dog walking, drop in visits or home stays. I currently can’t offer home boarding at my own home as I live with my family’s pets, but hope to open this up again in the future. I always adapt to each pet/owner, when it comes to eating and daily routines, as I understand everyone and every dog is different. I will treat your dog with as much love and care as if they were my own. I care massively about the welfare and happiness of every animal I meet ❤️

About: Hi, my name is Sim, I'm 25 years old, I work full time but on shifts so I have a range of availability based upon my shift patterns. I've got experience in sitting and walking different breeds, and I'm a big breed lover having my own 3 at home! (3 German shepherds!) Currently I do occasionally dog sit for friends and family, typically their dogs stay over with my 3 dogs who love having friends over! So what sets me apart from other walkers and sitters? Well, I love dogs, I've had 5 years of experience (on and off), all my dogs have been adopted and rehomed - so I've worked with a variety of different dogs with different needs. Recently fostering a dog for 3 months and got her trained up before she went to her new home which she's succeeding in! I own a car so I'm happy to travel. And with your permission if you leave your dog with me over night or for a few days, I can take them to locations such as the Peak District to get some quality time in, otherwise to the local parks and nature reserves. 😁 I do have a really big garden which is fenced off. If we require use of a create then we can encourage that with your dog, we just request to provide a bed or item that your dog is currently familiar with to keep in the crate if crate time is required, we want to keep the environment as familiar as possible to help reduce anxiety. My house has multiple cameras situated throughout the property, inside and outside for peace of mind. I work full time but I work different shifts weekly but I know what I'm working well in advance, and I have my partner to lend a hand. Large garden fenced off, cameras around the house and the outside the house so we have eyes on the property at all times. But someone will always be home.

About: I have cat sitted several times over the last few years for other owners and thoroughly enjoy it! I have also dog sitted and walked dogs of all sizes. I offer services from dog and also cat boarding to drop in visits/house sitting and dog walking. I have a family pet cat who I adore so much! I adopted Milo since he was 10 weeks old and he always makes me smile everyday. (He does live with my family) if I were to look after your cat or dog I could either attend to them where they live or to my flat (where I live alone with no pets) I enjoy being around cats and although I have not had dogs as a pet before, I have been around friends who do have some. I think having pets always cheers people up as they’re full of life. I groom my cat, bathe him, comb his hair, clean his food tray, litter and also feed him twice daily. I have dog and cat sitted before so have experience doing both. Please get in touch and feel free to ask any questions! Thank you I am on here to look after cute pets that need taking care of and would be more than happy to help out the owner. I would describe myself as someone who is caring and outgoing. I currently reside in Leicester near Glenfield and they’re are a lot of nice parks nearby for the doggies (also me). I would also be interested in house sitting, cat or dog sitting, day care and also walking. Can take last minute bookings and if needed my services for a longer period of time more than a week, I could negotiate the rate. Currently working for the NHS but over the holiday Christmas period I’m available to sit. I could work around my schedule. I genuinely love pets and it’s nice to unwind to have a little play time and to care for them. I have a family cat that if full of energy, loves going out to play in the garden! Everyday is a routine when looking after Milo and first thing making sure his food bowl is cleaned and he is fed.. grooming everyday as his hair sheds a lot. Days consist of lots of cuddles and neck scratches and making sure he is well looked after.

About: Extensive and secure garden, full access to the house. Great countryside walks in all directions! I spend all day everyday caring for animals and believe in attention to detail and a lot of fun ☺️ I grew up around animals, and am very proficient in animal care. Walks in the countryside every morning and evening to suit dog's needs. We have great access to rivers, forests and beautiful hills. I study part time and have a lot of free time to devote to caring for lovely dogs! I have a large wall garden (photographed) with electric gates. Very secure. Dogs have access to the whole house and access to the garden at all times. Smaller dogs or dogs with different preferences can do less and have constant supervision. Over the past few years I have fostered dogs, had hound puppies in for summer training, cared for elderly and disabled dogs; as well as full time care of my lovely collie.
