About: I have just completed my undergraduate degree in social work. I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life and looking after them is now just second nature to me. Back at home I have three dogs, Two Jack Russells and Border Collie cross; a very busy household! I have has caring responsibilities all my life growing up with these animals as we've never been without a dog in the house. I also have a cat, and so am familiar with looking after feline friends too! I am currently working a part time job in a social care sector. I am currently working a part time job, in a social care sector Wednesday to Friday. So am available Saturday to Tuesday to help look after your furry friends. I am honest and reliable, with great experience walking and keeping dogs entertained. I am looking forward to meeting your pets and getting to know their wonderful personalities.

About: I have had cats for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from a very young age. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their behaviour, personalities, and individual needs. Currently, I have three cats of my own and two dogs, so caring for multiple cats and managing different temperaments is something I’m very comfortable with. I absolutely love cats—honestly, I’m a bit obsessed. I enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s playing with energetic kittens or giving gentle attention to older, more relaxed cats. I’m experienced with cats at all stages of life, from young, playful kittens to senior cats who may need a quieter, more attentive approach. I’m committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for any cat in my care. During the week (Monday to Friday), I mostly work in the evenings, while on weekends I typically work in the mornings. Outside of these hours, I’m available and able to dedicate time to caring for pets. I’m also more than happy to be flexible and work around my schedule to suit specific needs, ensuring each cat receives the time, attention, and care they require. In my home, I make sure every cat feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. They’ll have a warm and cosy environment with access to food bowls, a water fountain, and soft cat beds with blankets—although they’re more than welcome to join me on the bed if that’s what they prefer. I provide clean litter trays (one upstairs and one downstairs) to keep things convenient and hygienic. There are plenty of toys and treats to keep them entertained and happy, as well as two cat trees for climbing, scratching, and relaxing. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always aim to stick closely to their usual routine so they feel as settled as possible. I’ll follow all instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding schedules, playtime, or giving them space, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

About: Grew up on a family farm, so know plenty how to look after animals. Neighbours have relied on me to look after their animals whilst on holidays. I work between 5-7 days a week shift depending, I’m in management so I have to fill in for others a lot too. That being said I only do short days so it accommodates work life balance well so there’s ways of organising pet sitting. I also get my rotas up to 6 weeks in advance so there’s always knowing when I’m available at the drop of a hat. Whilst I may not offer pets to stay with me, if they’re under my care they’re well looked after. They’re walked, played with and made to feel included

About: Growing up I've always had animals, including dogs, cats. I used to spend a few weeks a year with my family on my uncles farm helping out. I had a black lab cross, but lost him 2 years ago, he was beautiful although a little crazy, but loved long country walks and plenty of cuddles. I regularly look after my mums spaniel, hes very active although has alot of medication. I love having him because it means we can enjoy spending time together with an animal. I worked in a veterinary practise for two years before getting pregnant because animals is a big passion. I was training to be a vet nurse before having my son, Joey. About: I'M BACK! After taking 6 months off to breed and train my next generation of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, I am happy to say that I am available again! I own two dogs, one cat and two horses, some of whom you can see on my profile! I would definitely say that I am an animal person haha! Over the years, I have learnt dog training skills such as how to remedy a dog who pulls on the lead or jumps up. I am experienced in administering medication for both dogs and cats and can even bathe them for you if needed! I am more than happy to do drop-ins for cats to feed and top up their water when needed if you don’t need me to stay over night! If you have any other small pets, I'm more than happy and experienced in looking after them for you whilst you're away (I grew up with mice, rabbits and Giant African Snails)! If you have horses, there is no need to put them into livery either, as I can look after them too when you go away! A bit about myself: I work from home which fits in great with dog sitting, as all I have to do is remember to bring my laptop with me! Don't worry, your pets will get plenty of exercise, socialisation and of course lots of love and care with me! Working from home means I am able to be around your pets all day, as long as I remember to bring my laptop with me! Our home has a fully secure terraced garden with 6ft+ old stone walls, so there is no escaping! We have many wonderful walks on our doorstep and our house location is quiet and safe. About: I have had various pets growing up - a dog since I was 11. I previously worked for a dog kennels, walking the dogs and helping with feeding and cleaning. Prior to using Rover, I had lots of experience looking after neighbours and friends dogs whilst they were away. I currently work freelance from home so have a flexible schedule. About: Hi, my name is Sim, I'm 25 years old, I work full time but on shifts so I have a range of availability based upon my shift patterns. I've got experience in sitting and walking different breeds, and I'm a big breed lover having my own 3 at home! (3 German shepherds!) Currently I do occasionally dog sit for friends and family, typically their dogs stay over with my 3 dogs who love having friends over! So what sets me apart from other walkers and sitters? Well, I love dogs, I've had 5 years of experience (on and off), all my dogs have been adopted and rehomed - so I've worked with a variety of different dogs with different needs. Recently fostering a dog for 3 months and got her trained up before she went to her new home which she's succeeding in! I own a car so I'm happy to travel. And with your permission if you leave your dog with me over night or for a few days, I can take them to locations such as the Peak District to get some quality time in, otherwise to the local parks and nature reserves. 😁 I do have a really big garden which is fenced off. If we require use of a create then we can encourage that with your dog, we just request to provide a bed or item that your dog is currently familiar with to keep in the crate if crate time is required, we want to keep the environment as familiar as possible to help reduce anxiety. My house has multiple cameras situated throughout the property, inside and outside for peace of mind. I work full time but I work different shifts weekly but I know what I'm working well in advance, and I have my partner to lend a hand. Large garden fenced off, cameras around the house and the outside the house so we have eyes on the property at all times. But someone will always be home.
