“I didn’t even get to meet Tracey but she put my mind at rest. Updates all evening and morning which is what we wanted. They had so much of a great time that now we are back they don’t want anything to do with us 😂 this is our first experience using rover and it’s put my mind completely at rest. I will definately be asking Tracey in the future to help us with the pups should we stay away again. Thanks again for everything”

“Thank you so so much Stephanie - cannot recommend higher !! Penny is so used to having me around all the time and is very anxious around anyone she hasn’t spent a lot of time with but Stephanie was brilliant. I knew penny was happy when I got back and got lots of updates from her whilst I was away. Felt very relaxed and enjoyed myself and my time away knowing Stephanie was with Penny and looking after my home. Thanks again, Anna”

She provided lots of updates and pictures and they had a lovely time with her and I was completely comfortable with Catherine looking after them and my dogs loved her as soon as they met her. 6. Aissa B.
“I know my 12week old pup had a great time with Aissa because he wasn't bothered that I was back home! Aissa was an amazing dog sitter, making sure Arlo was really well looked after and kept me updated with lots of great pictures. She took really good care of my house as well whilst I was gone. Thank you Aissa, Arlo loved you!”
7. Oskar F.
“Oskar and Joanna were amazing and we would highly recommend them to anyone! We joined Rover the day before we needed a sitter and were concerned about leaving our two dogs with someone we didn’t know. They arrived and were super friendly and polite and genuinely excited to spend time with the dogs. Within a few minutes, we could tell Oskar and Joanna were great with dogs and we felt safe in the knowledge they were in good hands so we could enjoy our trip. They seemed very experienced and came with lots of kit to keep the dogs safe and happy whilst out and about. We got regular updates of the dogs having a great time playing and on long walks. We’ve got a very strong staffy who we struggle playing tug-of-war with so it was great to have someone confident and strong enough to wrangle her! Oskar even mopped the kitchen floor of muddy paw prints - it’s never looked so clean! We were super impressed with them both and can’t believe we’ve not used Rover before. I’m sure we’ll be using Oskar and Joanna again. Thank you so much!”
8. Abigail A.
“Abby took great care of Max while I was away - would 100% have her again.”

About: I have looked after dogs since I was 14, 3 dogs since they were puppies. I'm very reliable and I am willing to learn special care for your pooch and will give them all the love they deserve. I'm currently working part time so have plenty of time to spend with you're pooch. I'm unavailable currently on a Monday to be home with them constantly, throughout the week they will not be left alone for longer than 2 hours. I am available on weekends but just need notice to make sure I'm available. I have a fenced garden with plenty of space as well as a very friendly dog of my own to keep your pooch company. I am willing to follow specific rule you may have for your house as I understand how worrying this can be, and I want to make it as stress free as possible.

“What a delightful young lady. My two poodles were so happy for Hannah to be looking after them, they hardly made a fuss of me when I returned home! She sent a daily update with photos - it was all simply perfect. She is completely trustworthy and reliable, which is hugely important when handing over your home and pets. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Hannah again.”

13. Justin L.
“Our two dogs took to Justin straight away, and he proved more than capable of handling two large pointers. He is calm and affectionate with them, and they were well walked and cared for - proving well tired out on our return. Justin also left the house impeccably clean and we would be delighted to call on him next time we need to leave the dogs again. Having a house sit worked fantastically, as we knew the dogs would be comfortable and confident in their own surroundings. Justin kindly provided plenty of updates to reassure me; I clearly get more separation anxiety than the dogs do, so it was a real relief seeing them so happy with Justin. We also appreciated the visits from him prior to his first stay so that he could get to know the dogs and their routine. I'd recommend Justin very highly for his professional and kind nature. Many thanks again Justin!”

About: I have been dog sitting for my family and friends for years, so decided to spread my net a little wider! I've had two family dogs, Bobby and Oscar. Bobby was a bestie, so I am VERY familiar with stubbornness. In his old age, I provided senior care - bathing, feeding, vet visits, walking, and most importantly, cuddling. Oscar, on the other hand, is a cocker spaniel puppy. I take him to training sessions and reinforce this at home, making sure he stays stimulated - especially with such an energetic breed! I love dogs and would love an opportunity to meet some more! I currently work part time, so have plenty of time for pet sitting! Luckily for me my work time is very flexible, having just graduated from university. I have an enclosed garden with lots of grass. I live near lots of fields and woodland for walking. My cocker spaniel is super friendly and gentle with all dogs.

17. David Y.
“David took exceptional care of our Terrier, Basil, whilst I was away. Having a dog with special requirements for exercise and a very strict diet means management is a concern when I have to leave him in care. However, David coped easily with my detailed requirements. Besides this I returned to a house which was tidier than I left it!! All toys away (apart from favorites), water bowl filled and meal portions ready to go – and next time I will feel happy to leave Basil longer. 😊”
18. Stuart S.
About: Hello! My name is Stuart and my business offers solo dog walking, pet sitting and drop-in visits to pets in Leicestershire. I love spending time with animals of all shapes and sizes, but especially dogs. I qualified in Animal Management in 2012 at Kingston Maurward College where he obtained a Distinction*. Since then, I have completed additional training in loose lead walking and supporting sensory impaired dogs, and also have a certificate in pet first aid. I have an enhanced DBS and am fully insured. I started my business after struggling to find dog walkers that exclusively offered solo walks in my area. My dogs are both from rescue centers and one of them does not enjoy group walks. Therefore, I decided to set up my own service to help owners in my area. I firmly believe that every dog deserves to have tailored dog walking experiences. For me, the best way to do that is to offer solo dog walking. Whilst all dogs can benefit from one-on-one attention, I can also offer adventures to dogs that are less suited to group-walk settings. However, I am still able to offer small group walks to dogs in the same household. I can offer pet sitting in your home in order to maintain the animal’s normal routine whilst owners are away. Whilst you are away, I can keep in regular contact with you to give you the peace of mind that they are safe and sound. I can also offer pop-in visits for your pets. This would be suited to elderly animals, puppies that are still too young for walks, or animals with additional health needs. I can offer pop-in visits for dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and birds. I look forward to meeting you. I work full time as a dog walker/pet sitter so any requests on Rover would form part of my normal working day. I can also accomodate weekend requests. I treat my client's pets with love and kindness, as if they were my own pets. In all my pet care/dog walking, I will adhere to any guidelines that you have provided for your animal's care. If I am transporting your animal, they will be secured within a crate or using a suitable seatbelt harness. If your animal requires any veterinary treatment, I will implement any immediate first aid required and also ensure they receive prompt veterinary treatment as per any agreements I have made with the owner. When I am pet sitting in your home, I will treat your home with respect and keep the house tidy, clean and secure whilst you are away.
19. Lucy W.
“Lucy is reliable and trustworthy. She shows true care and compassion to all animals in her care. I trust her implicitly with my dog. Her prices are fair and reasonable. You won't be disappointed.”
20. Rose K.
“Rose takes really good care of animals. She has lived on farm her whole life and has been responsible for many animals. She has been front and centre of lambing every year since she was only 5 years old. Rose just loves pets so so much, especially dogs. Whenever I am with her she always wants to say hello to all that come by. I am certain that rose would be a fantastic pet caregiver.”
