I’ve only ever left our Boston Terrier, Edie, at a kennel because she can be a real handful; a novice would definitely struggle with her high energy and strong prey drive. However, Simon was an absolute expert in his interactions with her and handled her with ease. He was highly professional, eager to learn Edie's quirks, and more than happy to follow our specific routines. Beyond his responsibility, he’s been incredibly kind, patient, and understanding in all of our interactions. Edie thoroughly enjoyed their time together and was as happy as a clam when I collected her! I plan on leaving her with him again soon and I’m very pleased to have found him on Rover.”

About: I have just completed my undergraduate degree in social work. I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life and looking after them is now just second nature to me. Back at home I have three dogs, Two Jack Russells and Border Collie cross; a very busy household! I have has caring responsibilities all my life growing up with these animals as we've never been without a dog in the house. I also have a cat, and so am familiar with looking after feline friends too! I am currently working a part time job in a social care sector. I am currently working a part time job, in a social care sector Wednesday to Friday. So am available Saturday to Tuesday to help look after your furry friends. About: I have had cats for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from a very young age. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their behaviour, personalities, and individual needs. Currently, I have three cats of my own and two dogs, so caring for multiple cats and managing different temperaments is something I’m very comfortable with. I absolutely love cats—honestly, I’m a bit obsessed. I enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s playing with energetic kittens or giving gentle attention to older, more relaxed cats. I’m experienced with cats at all stages of life, from young, playful kittens to senior cats who may need a quieter, more attentive approach. I’m committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for any cat in my care. I understand that every cat is different, and I’m more than happy to accommodate their individual routines, preferences, and needs—whether that means sticking to specific feeding schedules, administering basic care, or simply giving them the space or affection they require to feel at ease I have a fairly flexible routine that allows me to provide attentive care. During the week (Monday to Friday), I mostly work in the evenings, while on weekends I typically work in the mornings. Outside of these hours, I’m available and able to dedicate time to caring for pets. I’m also more than happy to be flexible and work around my schedule to suit specific needs, ensuring each cat receives the time, attention, and care they require. In my home, I make sure every cat feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. They’ll have a warm and cosy environment with access to food bowls, a water fountain, and soft cat beds with blankets—although they’re more than welcome to join me on the bed if that’s what they prefer. I provide clean litter trays (one upstairs and one downstairs) to keep things convenient and hygienic. There are plenty of toys and treats to keep them entertained and happy, as well as two cat trees for climbing, scratching, and relaxing. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always aim to stick closely to their usual routine so they feel as settled as possible. I’ll follow all instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding schedules, playtime, or giving them space, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

About: Growing up I've always had animals, including dogs, cats. I used to spend a few weeks a year with my family on my uncles farm helping out. I had a black lab cross, but lost him 2 years ago, he was beautiful although a little crazy, but loved long country walks and plenty of cuddles. I regularly look after my mums spaniel, hes very active although has alot of medication. I love having him because it means we can enjoy spending time together with an animal. I worked in a veterinary practise for two years before getting pregnant because animals is a big passion. I was training to be a vet nurse before having my son, Joey. The opportunity to house sit and spend time with your pets means we can enjoy our travel lifestyle whilst pursuing our passion with animals. In the last 10 years we've been all over the world and enjoyed time together with a variety of animals including dogs, cats. I love the fact that we can actually relax in a home environment with your furry family members. Last year we lived in Brazil and rescued a sick dog and 5 abandoned kittens from the streets, we nursed them to health and they became part of the family, which is why it was tough letting them go, but our goal was to find loving new homes for them which we managed to do. I host Air Bnb and stay in mainly Airbnbs at the moment when away, therefore know the responsibility of looking after someone else home, I have also made some great friends through this site. Working from home, means lots of flexibility and time with your furry family members! I am a big animal lover and have always had them in my life. Although exploring new places means we can't have a furry family member full time, we have looked after dogs, cats. About: I have had many different specs of animals through my walks of life. I pride myself in caring for them to my best abilities. Your pet will be well cared for! I work from home so have a lot of time for caring, from the moment I wake up I love being around animals. Their routines fit well into my daily life. I will provide daily updates, pictures and videos. Also full run down after the stay/walk. I currently do not have a garden but have a small front outside area that I can offer short supervised outside exploration multiple times days. I sit for my families cats and they prefer in a new environment the cats remain inside, for safety, apart from a sniff round the front area. Inside they have roam of the house apart from my bedroom in which I have my pets. I can offer a lot of safe indoor play/activities or none at all- whatever your pet prefers! For walking- I live near a big woodland park to provide long walks.

I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, which I use to help dogs feel comfortable and cared for. Having raised two dogs of my own with my parents, I treat every pup as if they’re family ◡̈ Right now, I do work a 8.30-5 Mon-Fri job, however I can give your pets plenty of time and attention when I am not working whether that be in the evenings or at weekends. About: Hi, my name is Sim, I'm 25 years old, I work full time but on shifts so I have a range of availability based upon my shift patterns. I've got experience in sitting and walking different breeds, and I'm a big breed lover having my own 3 at home! (3 German shepherds!) Currently I do occasionally dog sit for friends and family, typically their dogs stay over with my 3 dogs who love having friends over! So what sets me apart from other walkers and sitters? Well, I love dogs, I've had 5 years of experience (on and off), all my dogs have been adopted and rehomed - so I've worked with a variety of different dogs with different needs. Recently fostering a dog for 3 months and got her trained up before she went to her new home which she's succeeding in! I own a car so I'm happy to travel. And with your permission if you leave your dog with me over night or for a few days, I can take them to locations such as the Peak District to get some quality time in, otherwise to the local parks and nature reserves. 😁 I do have a really big garden which is fenced off. If we require use of a create then we can encourage that with your dog, we just request to provide a bed or item that your dog is currently familiar with to keep in the crate if crate time is required, we want to keep the environment as familiar as possible to help reduce anxiety. My house has multiple cameras situated throughout the property, inside and outside for peace of mind. I work full time but I work different shifts weekly but I know what I'm working well in advance, and I have my partner to lend a hand. Large garden fenced off, cameras around the house and the outside the house so we have eyes on the property at all times. But someone will always be home.

About: I’m currently working part time term time only so have plenty of time to look after animals! i’m available all day saturday sunday and wednesday in mornings/evenings every other day I have 3 cats at home and have a family full of cat and dog owners that i spend plenty of time with. About: I am currently looking after a dog for a friend on a weekly basis, often going to the park, looking after him overnight, and sometimes day trips. I have raised my family dog since he was a puppy, so am fully aware of what that entails. When I go back home, I walk and take care of him. I live with my boyfriend who has had cats in the past, so I am used to having them in the house and how to take care of them. With this, I have lots of experience of walking, feeding, bathing, and keeping pets happy! I'm currently working from home full-time, so can look after pets at any time! My hours are also very flexible so I'm able to go for walks during my working day. I live in a flat, with a secure back garden that is fenced in. The front door to the flat block is always kept locked. I am happy to do whatever is needed to keep your pet safe and happy!

About: I’ve been involved with animals ever since I can remember! From owning 3 horses and 2 beloved rescue dogs! I know how to adapt and change to each animal understanding not all of them are the same. I am also a qualified nurse so from my animal experience and nursing experience I’ve learnt how to communicate with both owner and animal. I work as an nurse as hoc and have enjoyed taking a break from the hospital!! And I have a wide range of availability and will most likely be free! I can communicate effectively with you the owner to understand where your pet is allowed. From owning two rescue dogs I’m also aware of certain dogs being afraid or aggressive to other dogs so I would walk on other side of the path to keep dogs away. I have had a huge experience around poorly pets- My current rescue has to have regular medication including injections and eye drops, I have also had experience with strokes amongst dogs and post operative care. My being a vet has enabled me to pick up critical information for dealing with emergency’s and the general health and well being of animals. I am also aware that dogs love company and like other dogs so I’m suited to all pet needs. I also give great cuddles and I seem to have a good track record with pets and they seem to always want more! I have plenty of time to play with your pups or cats due to being a newly graduate from university. I am available weekdays, weekends and all times of the day. I will ensure your dog remains in eye contact to make sure there’s no escapes. My sister is a qualified vet and my experience and knowledge of emergency care has grown from her. I will have your vets contact number in my phone before any visit/sitting.
