About: I have just completed my undergraduate degree in social work. I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life and looking after them is now just second nature to me. Back at home I have three dogs, Two Jack Russells and Border Collie cross; a very busy household! I have has caring responsibilities all my life growing up with these animals as we've never been without a dog in the house. I also have a cat, and so am familiar with looking after feline friends too! I am currently working a part time job in a social care sector. I am currently working a part time job, in a social care sector Wednesday to Friday. So am available Saturday to Tuesday to help look after your furry friends. I am honest and reliable, with great experience walking and keeping dogs entertained. I am looking forward to meeting your pets and getting to know their wonderful personalities.

However, Simon was an absolute expert in his interactions with her and handled her with ease. He was highly professional, eager to learn Edie's quirks, and more than happy to follow our specific routines. Beyond his responsibility, he’s been incredibly kind, patient, and understanding in all of our interactions. About: I have had cats for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from a very young age. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their behaviour, personalities, and individual needs. Currently, I have three cats of my own and two dogs, so caring for multiple cats and managing different temperaments is something I’m very comfortable with. I absolutely love cats—honestly, I’m a bit obsessed. I enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s playing with energetic kittens or giving gentle attention to older, more relaxed cats. I’m experienced with cats at all stages of life, from young, playful kittens to senior cats who may need a quieter, more attentive approach. I’m committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for any cat in my care. I understand that every cat is different, and I’m more than happy to accommodate their individual routines, preferences, and needs—whether that means sticking to specific feeding schedules, administering basic care, or simply giving them the space or affection they require to feel at ease I have a fairly flexible routine that allows me to provide attentive care. During the week (Monday to Friday), I mostly work in the evenings, while on weekends I typically work in the mornings. Outside of these hours, I’m available and able to dedicate time to caring for pets. I’m also more than happy to be flexible and work around my schedule to suit specific needs, ensuring each cat receives the time, attention, and care they require. In my home, I make sure every cat feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. They’ll have a warm and cosy environment with access to food bowls, a water fountain, and soft cat beds with blankets—although they’re more than welcome to join me on the bed if that’s what they prefer. I provide clean litter trays (one upstairs and one downstairs) to keep things convenient and hygienic. There are plenty of toys and treats to keep them entertained and happy, as well as two cat trees for climbing, scratching, and relaxing. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always aim to stick closely to their usual routine so they feel as settled as possible. I’ll follow all instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding schedules, playtime, or giving them space, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

About: Hi, we are Andrew & Fran. We provide home from home Boarding & Day Care for Dogs. We live in Edith Weston which is close to both Stamford & Oakham. It is approx a ten minute drive from the A1. I live in army housing adjacent to St George’s Barracks. This location is on the edge of Rutland Water which affords varied walks and we are surrounded by countryside. Our home is pet and child free. Our garden is secure and overlooks fields with a lawned area. All areas of our home will be accessible to your pet. I am currently a serving soldier in HM Forces specialising in Dog Handling & training arms explosives detection dogs. (Spaniels & Labradors). I also have experience with protection dogs mainly German Shepards & Belgian Mallinois breeds. I have had a 20 year career with the Royal Army Veterinary Corp with within the Military Working Dogs Squadron. I have served multiple tours of duty in Afghanistan & Iraq and have travelled around the world with my working dogs. I have extensive experience of caring for dogs in challenging environments while aiming to get the best from my dogs. I have qualifications in canine medical emergency procedures and animal husbandry. Through my work I have been trained to understand dog psychology & behavioural traits of many breeds and how to approach these. Fran has been a registered nurse in the NHS and now works in clinical sales supporting patients with chronic wounds. We are open to taking dogs of all sizes, breeds & age. We only board single dogs or multiple dogs from one household so your pet/pets will not be mixed with other dogs during their stay. We strongly suggest a meet & greet for you and your pet to meet us and for you to see my home. I risk assess all dogs who come for a meet and greet and like to take time to get to know your pet and ask you for more information on your pets behaviour, routines and needs. When your pet comes to stay with us, we provide blankets, poop bags, water bowls, towels, and have our own selection of leads to save on dog luggage. We also have orthopaedic memory foam beds for pets who stay with us. We do recommend something familiar from home to comfort them settling in with us, giving them a secure scent especially when they come to us for the first time. If your dog has a specific collar or lead, food bowl, toys etc which will make them feel at home please bring these along with their bed etc. If your dog needs a specialised collar and muzzle for safety reasons I will ensure this is on place as per your instructions. We are happy to take crates for your pet if they feel more secure sleeping or resting in these. We don’t like to crate dogs in the day or when we go out unless you instruct us to do so. I walk dogs in our care on long leads & tend to walk in quiet areas esp for dogs who don’t mix well with other dogs. I risk assess all of this on the first walk I take with your pet. We prioritise keeping to your dogs daily routine, to keep them secure in this. We also ensure dogs are safe from extreme heat if they are spending time in the garden during hot months and also in winter with cold and wet conditions. We do not leave dogs in our care unsupervised in the elements. Fran works from home some days in the week and I am based on camp a 5 minute walk from our home and work Monday to Friday. I come home at lunch and finish at 4.30pm so your pet will not be left alone for long periods. If we board dogs at the weekend we ensure what we are doing revolves around dogs in our care, your pet will have company and will not be left. During holidays or weekends we like to take certain dogs hiking, swimming, seaside trips etc with your consent. For older less agile dogs or puppies we like to spend time with them in the garden playing. We pride ourselves on providing a home from home environment for your pet & aim to keep them in their usual routine as much as possible. Fran will keep in regular touch with you on WhatsApp with photos and videos of your pet and their activities during their stay & she can answer any queries promptly during your pets stay. We aim to make you feel reassured that your pet will be cared for lovingly & safely during their stay with us. I finish work before lunch on Fridays and am free most weekends. Fran works from home 3 days a week All areas of my home will be accessible to your pet. I have secure fencing around my back garden overlooking fields which are visible from the garden. There is a lawn area your pet can access and the property is gated securely at the front. More than happy to facilitate your pet in a crate if that’s their preference to sleep in. The house is pet and children free.

About: Growing up I've always had animals, including dogs, cats. I used to spend a few weeks a year with my family on my uncles farm helping out. I had a black lab cross, but lost him 2 years ago, he was beautiful although a little crazy, but loved long country walks and plenty of cuddles. I regularly look after my mums spaniel, hes very active although has alot of medication. I love having him because it means we can enjoy spending time together with an animal. I worked in a veterinary practise for two years before getting pregnant because animals is a big passion. I was training to be a vet nurse before having my son, Joey. The opportunity to house sit and spend time with your pets means we can enjoy our travel lifestyle whilst pursuing our passion with animals. In the last 10 years we've been all over the world and enjoyed time together with a variety of animals including dogs, cats. I love the fact that we can actually relax in a home environment with your furry family members. Last year we lived in Brazil and rescued a sick dog and 5 abandoned kittens from the streets, we nursed them to health and they became part of the family, which is why it was tough letting them go, but our goal was to find loving new homes for them which we managed to do. I host Air Bnb and stay in mainly Airbnbs at the moment when away, therefore know the responsibility of looking after someone else home, I have also made some great friends through this site. Hello there! My name is Cara. I currently work remotely as an online tutor, but I love languages and art and nature. Working from home, means lots of flexibility and time with your furry family members! I am a big animal lover and have always had them in my life. Although exploring new places means we can't have a furry family member full time, we have looked after dogs, cats. I rescued a dog and 5 kittens from the streets of Brazil when living there last year and successfully re-homed them. We will be sure to update you with lots of pictures. About: I have had many different specs of animals through my walks of life. I pride myself in caring for them to my best abilities. Your pet will be well cared for! I work from home so have a lot of time for caring, from the moment I wake up I love being around animals. Their routines fit well into my daily life. I will provide daily updates, pictures and videos. Also full run down after the stay/walk. I currently do not have a garden but have a small front outside area that I can offer short supervised outside exploration multiple times days. I sit for my families cats and they prefer in a new environment the cats remain inside, for safety, apart from a sniff round the front area. Inside they have roam of the house apart from my bedroom in which I have my pets. I can offer a lot of safe indoor play/activities or none at all- whatever your pet prefers! For walking- I live near a big woodland park to provide long walks.

About: I have had various pets growing up - a dog since I was 11. I previously worked for a dog kennels, walking the dogs and helping with feeding and cleaning. Prior to using Rover, I had lots of experience looking after neighbours and friends dogs whilst they were away. I currently work freelance from home so have a flexible schedule. I like to travel but in between travelling I’m always eager to help with dog walking, drop in visits or home stays. I currently can’t offer home boarding at my own home as I live with my family’s pets, but hope to open this up again in the future. I always adapt to each pet/owner, when it comes to eating and daily routines, as I understand everyone and every dog is different. About: Growing up in South Africa I was lucky enough to have many pets from dogs (Bullmastiffs to Corgis), cats, rabbits, birds and fish, yes it was a busy house! Now living in the UK for 28 years I have my own, 3 dogs and 3 cats. They range from 15 weeks to 10 years, as well as two teenager's. My love for animals has continued. I am able to offer you and your dogs the a variety of services, from daily walks, pop-ins, group walks and doggy daycare. Should you need any personalised options please just ask. My services are available full time. Monday - Fridays 8 till 18:00 Weekends - please ask for further information I am also available for bank holidays I am fortunate enough to live near many open country walks. I also have a fully enclosed back garden as well as the use of a secure field.

About: I’m currently working part time term time only so have plenty of time to look after animals! i’m available all day saturday sunday and wednesday in mornings/evenings every other day I have 3 cats at home and have a family full of cat and dog owners that i spend plenty of time with. About: Hi, my name is Sim, I'm 25 years old, I work full time but on shifts so I have a range of availability based upon my shift patterns. I've got experience in sitting and walking different breeds, and I'm a big breed lover having my own 3 at home! (3 German shepherds!) Currently I do occasionally dog sit for friends and family, typically their dogs stay over with my 3 dogs who love having friends over! So what sets me apart from other walkers and sitters? Well, I love dogs, I've had 5 years of experience (on and off), all my dogs have been adopted and rehomed - so I've worked with a variety of different dogs with different needs. Recently fostering a dog for 3 months and got her trained up before she went to her new home which she's succeeding in! I own a car so I'm happy to travel. And with your permission if you leave your dog with me over night or for a few days, I can take them to locations such as the Peak District to get some quality time in, otherwise to the local parks and nature reserves. 😁 I do have a really big garden which is fenced off. If we require use of a create then we can encourage that with your dog, we just request to provide a bed or item that your dog is currently familiar with to keep in the crate if crate time is required, we want to keep the environment as familiar as possible to help reduce anxiety. My house has multiple cameras situated throughout the property, inside and outside for peace of mind. I work full time but I work different shifts weekly but I know what I'm working well in advance, and I have my partner to lend a hand. Large garden fenced off, cameras around the house and the outside the house so we have eyes on the property at all times. But someone will always be home.

About: I am currently looking after a dog for a friend on a weekly basis, often going to the park, looking after him overnight, and sometimes day trips. I have raised my family dog since he was a puppy, so am fully aware of what that entails. When I go back home, I walk and take care of him. I live with my boyfriend who has had cats in the past, so I am used to having them in the house and how to take care of them. With this, I have lots of experience of walking, feeding, bathing, and keeping pets happy! I'm currently working from home full-time, so can look after pets at any time! My hours are also very flexible so I'm able to go for walks during my working day. I live in a flat, with a secure back garden that is fenced in. The front door to the flat block is always kept locked. I am happy to do whatever is needed to keep your pet safe and happy!
