“James was responsive to messages and was able to accommodate us at short notice. He completed a meet and greet ahead of our visit times for our 9 week old puppy, and I felt instantly assured. He sent us pictures from the visits, and everything went smoothly. It really took the stress out of us leaving Darla for the first time. We have since rebooked James for ongoing visits. Thanks again :-)”

“Thank you Jess, from the initial messages we exchanged to the first phone call Jess has been nothing but professional. And her love for dogs is genuine and honest, our crazy border collie Quinn is wary of new people but in the first meeting he was taken by Jess. And gained a new tennis ball! The visits are well documented with information regularly shared, we were fortunate enough to see Jess on her final visit to personally thank her. We will definitely be using her services again.”

About: I am a genuine animal lover with experience caring for a wide variety of dog breeds, sizes, and personalities. Over the years, I have looked after energetic puppies, senior dogs, and everything in between, always adapting to their individual needs and routines. I understand the importance of providing plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and a safe environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic medications, or simply offering affection and reassurance, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to ensure both pets and owners feel confident, happy, and well cared for at all times. I understand that pets are happiest when their usual routine is maintained, so I always adapt my schedule to suit the individual needs of the pet I am caring for. Whether it’s specific feeding times, regular walks, play sessions, medication schedules, or quiet time to relax, I make every effort to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I take the time to learn each pet’s preferences, habits, and personality to ensure they feel comfortable, secure, and stress-free while their owner is away. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care that helps pets feel safe, happy, and at home. Safety, trust, and creating a positive environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their pets are in safe and reliable hands. About: I have a dog of my own and would love to care for yours as is it best to have someone who actually cares! Id like to work at a rescue one day, but until then, id like to gain some experience in dog sitting. My dog is a senior so i have some experience with giving oral medication and ear drops. Im also very good with energetic dogs and can provide engaging activities at many points of the day such as exercise. Im currently a six form student, so I have plenty of time to do this as a side hustle, until I leave for summer, I’m available from 2 on Wednesdays and Friday, and the whole weekend I take my dog on daily walks, as well as providing him with medication as he’s a senior. like eardrops teeth care and various spa treatments. His food is perfectly portioned with nutrients and a balanced diet.

About: Hi, I’m Maria. My husband and I live in Hanwood Park, and together we offer a calm, loving, home-from-home environment where dogs and cats are truly treated as part of the family. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of many breeds and personalities — Schnauzers, Cocker Spaniels, Shih Tzus, Boxers, Lhasa Apsos, Weimaraners, and more — as well as cats. Over the years, friends and families have trusted me with their pets again and again, knowing they’ll be loved, understood, and cared for with patience and attention. What matters most to me is that every dog feels safe, relaxed, and emotionally settled while they’re with us. A Home Built on Trust, Not Just Care I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else — they’re family, not “just a pet.” That’s why I’ve always focused on building long-term trust and familiarity with the dogs I care for, rather than quick, one-off stays. Because my husband and I work as a team of two, your dog benefits from: 🐾Constant human presence 🐾Consistent routines 🐾A calm, stable home environment 🐾Never left alone for long periods 🐾Plenty of affection, cuddles, and gentle play 🐾Walks tailored to your dog’s routine and energy level 🐾Access to a garden for fresh air and relaxed time outdoors 🐾Care adapted to your dog’s personality — playful or quiet, young or senior 🐾Regular updates, photos, or videos if you’d like We especially love caring for dogs whose owners are looking for consistency and continuity — a familiar home they can return to whenever you travel, work, or need support. When a dog stays with us, they’re not just being looked after — they’re welcomed into our home and cared for with patience, kindness, and respect. If you’d like to arrange a meet & greet or ask any questions, I’d be very happy to hear from you. We look forward to welcoming your dog My husband and I both work from home, which means your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. We naturally build pet care into our daily routine, including walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding schedules, and quiet rest time. We’re available for boarding during weekdays, weekends, and longer stays, and we always aim to create a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family. We provide a calm home environment with a secure garden, consistent routines, and lots of gentle attention and affection. Because there are two of us, pets are never left alone for long periods and always have someone nearby for reassurance and care. We take time to understand each pet’s personality, habits, and needs so they can feel settled, comfortable, and truly at home with us.
“Isabelle took the trouble to visit us in advance of her caring for our cat Sid, to ensure that she fully understood his routine, and where to find everything. Isabelle sent us daily updates of what she had done, how Sid was doing, plus several photos each day. We felt completely reassured that Sid was in safe hands and being cared for properly. Isabelle left our kitchen and Sid's feed station in a clean and tidy state. We would have no hesitation in booking Isabelle again, and are happy to recommend her to others.”

Corby pet owners share their Rover experiences
We have a shy and timid rescue dog, so finding the right person to care for her is incredibly important to us. James has truly been wonderful—he managed to gently bring her out of her shell. It was clear he was patient, understanding, and genuinely cared about making her feel safe and comfortable. While we were away, James took excellent care of her and kept us reassured throughout. He showed up on time, followed all our instructions, and made sure she had everything she needed. It gave us real peace of mind knowing she was in such capable hands. We especially appreciated his calm approach and the way he built trust with her so naturally. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend James to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dogsitter.

This is our third time approaching Angel to take care of Bean. She is very meticulous and gives us incredibly detailed reports each day. This puts us at ease and gives us a glimpse of how our lil guy is getting on without us. She went out of her way on this occasion to care for Bean on all the days we were away - And we truly appreciate it! We will definitely approach her again the next time we travel.
