“Sabrina is excellent. Attentive, punctual, thoughtful - and goes beyond the extra mile, for example, closing the windows we'd left open for the weekend, as well as ensuring our kittens were ok, keeping us informed. Will be booking Sabrina again in the near future.”

“Jo was amazing stepping in at the lat minute. She was lovely in person and took on all the information about my cats again. I received great updates after each visit and a lovely note left on my return. Thank you Jobfor the caring way in which you looked after my cats and left their feeding area clean - I really appreciate that.”

“I would highly recommend Rebecca. She kept me updated to date on how my cat was doing and sent some lovely pictures of her playing. This was very reassuring as it was my first time leaving my cat.”

“Gosia looked after our 2 cats very well. We received photos and daily updates from her. Our cats seem to love her too. She did a great job and we will happily come back to her. ”

“I would really recommend Briony, she was absolutely amazing with our Kitten Sooty. She sent me daily updates with photos which really put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my holiday without worry. I could tell from the updates that my cat was very comfortable with her. “Thank you so much to Courtney for checking in on my two girls (cats) while I was celebrating my nephew’s 10th wedding anniversary in Rhodes. The cats seem very happy and healthy on my return. Thanks again for everything and putting my mind at rest that they were being looked after (even if you didn’t see much of them!)”

About: I have taken care of many dogs and other animals over the years since i was 16. I have a terrier mix who is reactive I have helped care for since she was 6 months old, she is now 9. A rescue and my beloved baby. I also recently had my family buy a German Shepard who is currently 10 months old, and consistently help to keep her entertained, many fun walks alongside my Terrier mix and overall just have had the great experience of watching her grow into her personality! I also have a cat who has lived with me for the past 2 years and my sister recently got rats which I also help care for. Back in April 2026 I looked after my uncle's three schnauzer's, one of which was a diabetic and needed insulin ever meal, and also 2 needed medication every day also , so if you have dogs with health needs I am more then able to accommodate that ! And at the end of May 2026, I looked after my aunts dogs, a cockapoo and a crazy but lovable cocker spaniel. Many walks with those two spent mostly getting soaked and throwing a very wet ball. I can work with dog walking any dog of any size, having grown up walking dogs of all sizes all my life. I know about medical routines any dogs may need and can stick to them. Also with dog walking i know how to tire a dog out so they are happy without it being a stressful experience for them. I have no work currently, and if I do get work it'll be part time! Looking after pets is something I really enjoy , and I believe any and all pets should be able to get the care they deserve ! Currently I have no other obligations, so I am free to come look after your pets whenever you need. I am DBS checked and have insurance ! Also have basic pet first aid knowledge and i' on a course for pet sitting and dog walking. Keep to routines the pets know! It can be confusing for a pet to have someone they don't fully know coming out look after them so I know sticking to the routines they are use too is a big way to help them feel more comfortable and safe. Same with if a pet has any medical issues and such, I would stick to routines with that too so they get what they need daily. Ensuring I have my eye on them when walking or if they out in a garden to make sure their safe is something else I ensure I do .
“Eve has been a professional from start to finish, punctual and proactive in communication re drop-ins on my two older dogs. Eve's support made my family feel at ease knowing our dogs are in safe hands. Cannot recommend Eve enough and for sure will book further support when will be going away.”

“Polly was great! very responsive on messages and our cat is very happy with her visits, will definitely be reaching out to polly for any future cat visit needs. Greatly appreciate it!”

“Melissa was really great and came and met Cub before hand to make sure he was comfortable with her coming to the house. It really gave me peace of mind knowing that when she visited without me home Cub would be happy and excited. Will be asking Melissa to come back for sure.”

About: About me: My rescue Dutch Shepherd passed recently at 14 after 12 years together. He was my family but he had reactivity and towards the end needed a lot of care around illness and dementia. Raising and training him has given me so much love for dogs along with a good amount of experience around dog body language (his and other dogs), training and general situational awareness. I also learned so much about clear requests and firm boundaries while advocating for him. Because of that he was able to have so many human friends and dog besties despite the reactivity. And I've done lots of walks and sits for those doggy friends over the years. I'm not ready to have another dog or cat myself, but I'd love to care for other folks' furry family. Things to be aware of Boarding: I have an elderly cat, so to board at my home, your dog will need to be good with cats. Unless your dog currently lives with cats I'll ask for a meet and greet at my home so that they can meet and I can assess. House sitting: I will accept house sitting visits outside of my set area if it is for multiple nights. There's no effective way to set things up that way on this site so please get in touch. I also can do longer than a week house sits for folks that I have done sits for previously. I work from home part time- Monday to Wednesday with plenty of flexibility around those working days. I can set my hours on those days as needed. And my days off are completely mine to schedule. The owner is always the best resource for how to care for their pet. My first port of call will be to go through questions related to behaviour and care, to make sure that I can meet everything that's needed. Aside from that I'm confident walking dogs of any size. Even if you're happy for your dog to be off lead, I will keep them on lead for the first few walks until I'm confident that they will recall to me consistently. Im happy working with spicy kitties who need extra time to build trust. My home is spacious and has a walled garden. I still have bowls, fountains, scratching posts, toys and crates from my previous pets that I can bring out of storage as needed.
“Top class from the start with thorough preparation and excellent service while we were away. My boys were fed & fussed well. The photos sent really helped with the anxiety of leaving them behind. Definitely book Forunata again and recommend to others 💫”
“I highly recommend Zuza for cat care! She kept in regular contact and sent me photos, which gave me great peace of mind. My cats looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for. You can really tell she loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. I would definitely trust her again!”

“This was my first time leaving my cat so I was quite anxious. There was no need as Vicky was AMAZING! From the first communication to meeting her Vicky was really easy going, relaxed and friendly. She provided twice daily feeds and cleared Inez’s litter as well as spending time with her. I had regular updates and photos and it seems like Inez has really taken a shine to Vicky. I would absolutely book Vicky again if I went away. ☺️”

Eloise was absolutely wonderful with my cat! She took such great care of him, making sure his bowl was clean, spending time playing with him, and giving him plenty of cuddles and attention. It was clear that she genuinely cared about his wellbeing and made sure he was happy and comfortable while I was away. I really appreciated the consistent updates too, it gave me such peace of mind knowing how he was doing. Eloise was also very polite, reliable, and respectful. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy cat sitter. I’ll definitely be asking her to look after my cat again! 🐾❤️

We cannot recommend Jagoda enough, she was absolutely brilliant with our cat from start to finish. She provided regular updates every day with photos, which allowed us to enjoy our holiday without worry. She is very knowledgeable about what she does and clearly loves animals and this was reflected in every visit. She was attentive to my cats different needs and really bonded with her and got to know her personality. Jagoda also took in parcels for us which was a huge help. We had some last minute plan changes before and during the booking and she was so understanding, flexible and went above and beyond to help us out. She truly is amazing and we feel lucky to have found her. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring and genuinely lovely cat sitter. We will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you so much x

Danielle was brilliant! So lovely and so friendly too. We needed a dog walker really last minute due to other people cancelling on us. She's been great with communication and accommodating what we needed. Simba🐶 warmed to her straight away and you can tell she really loves animals like theyre her own. Would be our first choice to use her again, and would definitely recommend! ☺️☺️

Leon and Natasha were absolutely fab! For a very fussy owner and a very nervous cat they made sure my princess was comfortable and loved for the 2 weeks away. My girl warmed up to them both amazingly and gave her sapce when needed and lots of playtime. They were great with times and keeping us updated. I highly recommend them and will be sure to use them again when possible. Thank you again.

Arabella is amazing! Veey happy with her service, it was the first time I booked her and O totally recommend her. Communication was fantastic and treated my cats amazingly well, my cats liked her. Always on time and followed my instructions. This is my first time using Roger and I could not be happier with this app, I will definitely keep using it and booking Arabella

I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! I was away on holiday for 10 days, and she took amazing care of my two cats, Grey and Tara. She kept me updated every single day with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared for them and made sure they were happy, comfortable, and well looked after. I came home to two relaxed, content cats and everything was just as I had left it. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Grey and Tara – I will definitely be booking you again in the future!
Oh, where to start… From the moment we met Adrienne and her husband, we felt they were the right people to look after our two cats. We booked home visits, and I can’t explain how happy we are. We received daily updates with pictures, and they played with the boys on every visit. I could tell the boys liked them very much (we all know animals can sense a good person!). This meant we could enjoy our holiday with complete peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone responsible and trustworthy, Adrienne is the one! We feel so lucky and pleased to have met Adrienne and her husband. We know that in the future, when we are away, our boys will be happy and very well looked after.

Lisa has looked after our dog Margot on several occasions - dropping in to see her when we have been out for long periods. This has sometimes been at short notice, which has been much appreciated. Lisa gives great updates, lots of notes and pictures and communication is always quick and easy. Margot loves Lisa and always has a great time. Would highly recommend Lisa to anyone!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Northampton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
