About: I’ve been around dogs and small animals my whole life. Growing up, our family had a Springer Spaniel named Buster (from my birth until I was about 5), a Black Labrador Retriever named Roly (until my teenage years), and a Beagle named Millie. In my twenties I helped care for three dogs full-time with a former partner — two Golden Retrievers (Shadow and Luna) and a Newfoundland (Koda) — plus three rats for three years. I’m passionate about all animals and nature, and I love spending time with pets — giving them walks, playtime, feeding, and the individual attention they deserve. I’m experienced with different breeds, sizes, and energy levels, and I’m always eager to learn more about each pet’s unique needs. I work a 4 days on / 4 days off shift pattern (6am–6pm). On my off days I’m generally fully available, though I’ll update my calendar for any specific busy times. On work days I can accept walks and drop-ins from 7pm, but nothing after 9:30pm as I need to sleep by 10pm for my early shift. I’m flexible for evenings and weekends when possible and always communicate clearly. I provide care in the pet owner’s home only. I’m very attentive and follow all instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications. I’m experienced with different breeds and always prioritise the pet’s comfort, safety, and routine. I can give regular toilet breaks and plenty of attention during my visits.

My experience includes caring for: * Puppies * Kittens * Senior dogs and cats * Dogs of various sizes and energy levels * Indoor and outdoor cats I treat every pet as if they were my own i’m currently unemployed, i do not drive yet but i can take public transport and get lifts if need be. i’m currently learning to drive every friday so that is the only day i am not free i have a big fenced garden. dog beds, dog toys, cat toys. i have loving small dogs and cats. dogs do not access upstairs. i can easily improvise and change things to suit your animals preference
About: Hi! I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who has been a dedicated dog owner since April 2020. Although I don’t have formal pet sitting experience, I have hands-on experience caring for my own dogs every day — including raising a few newborn puppies. This has made me especially patient, gentle, and attentive to dogs’ needs at every stage of life. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I will treat your dog like my own family member, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. Pet care is already part of my daily life as a dog owner, so I easily incorporate it into my routine. I am available after 4:30pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. I also work from home one day between Tuesday and Thursday, which means I can offer daytime care and keep your dog company instead of leaving them alone. I have a flexible schedule during these times and can provide reliable, attentive care, ensuring your pet receives plenty of companionship, supervision, and love. I specialise in caring for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. By keeping your pet in a familiar environment, I help reduce stress and maintain their normal routine. I carefully follow all instructions, stay attentive to their behaviour, and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for at all times. This approach is especially beneficial for dogs who are anxious, shy, or simply prefer staying in their own space. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and video updates for your peace of mind.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I’ve had three dogs and currently live with my cocker spaniel, Raffy, who loves playing with her favourite frog! I’ve also cared for my family’s pets and genuinely enjoy giving dogs lots of attention, playtime and cuddles. I currently work part-time at a café, so I’m looking to fit pet care around my work schedule. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits and house sitting, particularly on my days off and outside of my working hours. I’m happy to discuss specific dates and routines with each owner. I’m happy to care for your dog in their own home, where they can stay comfortable and follow their normal routine. I’ll take the time to understand their feeding, walking and care needs and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise and affection. I’ll always treat your home and your pet with respect and keep you updated while you’re away.
“Hannah is truly a godsend. After an initial meet & greet, we knew she would look after our 5 month old Doberman like he was her own. Great communication & care, even when he was being a little land shark. Thank you Hannah!”

“Chelsea is so lovely and also reliable . I felt totally at ease leaving willow with Chelsea and bless her she kept me updated with pictures of Willow on the app. I know Willow is looking forward to seeing Chelsea’s again for more belly rubs .,?”

“Beth is a wonderful cat sitter, she saved our bums last weekend coming to the rescue at short notice so we could go away for a few days. She kept us updated whilst we were away and cared for our cats as we would. Thanks so much Beth we’ll be using you again x The Tees”

About: I have always looked after animals since a young age. I have a family Springador who is now 9 years old and a 2 year old Cockapoo who is also a family dog (but do not live with me). I miss going on more regular dog walks so I am looking forward to meeting lots of new fur-friends! I love being outdoors and regularly go on walks - so why not exercise the dogs at the same time! I work from home so I enjoy getting out and about during the week and at weekends. I work from home 4 days a week and regularly go on walks either in the morning, at lunch or in the evening (depending on the weather). I am also around at weekends. I have a secure grass garden and hard floors downstairs. There is also space for a crate or dog bed and the house can be made dog-friendly when required.

About: I have been taking care of pets, my own and clients, for 10+ years. I’ve taken care of every animal type from dogs and cats and other animals I’m also well versed in medication administration. Please refer to my calendar for availability or feel free to send a message to ask about schedules or for any questions you have :) Currently unable to provide sitting for pets in my own home due to having a small space. But I am more than happy to take care of your babies in your home where they will likely feel more comfortable anyway!

About: Growing up I’ve always been around dogs, from little chihuahua‘s to Great Danes. I frequently dog sit my grandparents yorkie when they go away, and shes old and a little reactive. I can confidently say I can care for any size dog, however if your pup is on the larger side and has reactivity issues Im not the sitter for you as I don’t have the experience or knowledge to safely care for your pup. That’s not to say big dogs are a complete no! As long as they’re friendly I’ll be happy to meet a few fur friend of any size I currently work Friday mornings part time, so plenty of time for your pets needs. Im flexible with how long I can spend with your pet, wether they need to be with me 24/7 (there is an option for them to be able to come to work with me, however it involves a lot of car travel. Please feel free to ask more about this!) or just need some company for an hour whilst your busy I currently have one cat, and shes very low maintenance. I get most of my experience from pet sitting for family members or volunteer work at shelters. I currently am able to pet sit in your own home and drop-ins for any animal, as well as solo walks for dogs (group walks can be discussed if the dogs know each other well or live together!) Your pet will be played with and loved, and above all, cared for
About: I run Crick Cats & Cuddles, a fully insured pet-care business based in Crick, Northamptonshire. I offer cat sitting, small-pet care, solo dog walks and dog drop-in visits. I’m feline and canine first aid trained and really focus on getting to know each pet as an individual. I’m used to caring for confident, shy, nervous, playful and senior cats, and I always work around their normal routine so they feel as settled as possible while their owners are away. For dogs, I offer calm one-to-one walks or walks for dogs from the same household, as well as drop-in visits for toilet breaks, feeding, fresh water, play, enrichment and company. I always send photo or video updates too, so owners can see how their pets are getting on and feel reassured while they’re out or away. I run my pet-care business locally and offer cat sitting and small-pet visits throughout the week, with morning and evening availability depending on the booking. My dog walking and dog drop-in services are offered on a limited afternoon and evening basis. I plan each booking around the individual pet’s routine as much as possible, while keeping travel and other bookings in mind. Your pet’s safety, comfort and routine are always my priority. Before a first booking, I offer a free meet & greet so I can meet you and your pet, learn about their routine, behaviour, health and any important care instructions. I’m fully insured and both feline and canine first aid trained. For dog walking, I offer solo walks or dogs from the same household only, so care stays calm and personal.
About: Hey, I’ve owned pets all my life, grew up with dogs and have owned my own dogs for 5 years from a puppy. I recently rescued a young dog called Nemo, who has issues with her mobility due to a club foot. I’d love to run a doggy day care full time in the future so I’m taking the first steps towards that goal opening my home out to others. I work from home so I’m available to look after dogs throughout the day, my job involves occasional travel but I will know about this in advance, should it be a problem. I am a single mum, with a young boy called Rory. I share custody of him with his Dad so my availability varies depending on where he is. He loves dogs, and is great with them, however a toddler, my two dogs and any additional would be a bit much for me! My dogs Archer and Nemo are friendly, they absolutely love the company of other dogs and they’re always been happy to share their home when we have looked after relatives animals before. Depending on times of drop off/pick up I’m happy to take the dogs on walks along with their normal daily walks, they would love it! I currently work from home, with a small amount of travel required, which I know about in advance and can arrange pet care around this. We have an enclosed garden, stone fences all around. There is a separate dog room, to ensure maximum safety (nothing gets left lying around in there!) I work from home, so, I am on hand to let them out to play/use the toilet, and play with them as well.
About: Since moving out of our respective family homes, we hugely miss our family dogs and do not have a dog of our own. We miss our precious pooches and therefore want to lend a hand to those in the local area by offering sitting and boarding others dogs who may need it. We have an average sized garden which is secure, plenty of places to walk, and a good sized kitchen/living area for larger dogs. We are firm believers that dogs need lots of cuddles and so do not mind them being on the sofa with us. We both work full time however 2 days a week each from home and so are flexible. With enough notice, we are at home most weekends. We have a fenced garden and plenty of indoor space for larger breeds where needed. We have two bedrooms upstairs and don’t mind dogs being on our furniture (given that those mucky paws are cleaned and dry).
About: Ever since I was young I’ve loved growing up with pets, in the past few years I helped my elderly neighbours to walk and feed there cats and dogs on occasion even clean the chickens out! My work hours are Mondays 8-4 Tuesdays 8-4 Wednesdays 13:30 - 21:15 Fridays 05:30 - 13:30 and Saturdays 8-4. I am more than happy to visit early, late and on my lunch breaks. Your standard care approach. Feeding, walking, brush downs even the dreaded bath time we all fear! Unless its my cats then I wont force them in the bath 😁

If I could give more than 5 stars then I would. The service Claire provided was out of this world. Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Daventry pet parents with similar pet households.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Daventry choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
