“Used Kelly again and I’m delighted with her service and feel totally comfortable with her visiting my home to look after my cat whilst I’m on holiday. Would not hesitate recommending Kelly to look after your cat or dog”

“Stephanie looked after my cat, Rupert and went above and beyond. Rupert really took to Stephanie and enjoyed her company. He got plenty of fuss and cuddles. I got daily updates on how he was doing with lots of photos. I’ve returned home and he seems more calmer after I’ve been away. I totally recommend Stephanie to look after your cat/dog needs while you’re away.”

“Molly was great, she was keen to do an intro meet and great and kept us updated with every visit. Everything was left clean and tidy with all used tins etc thrown away and the kitchen left nice and clean, which is so important in this hot weather. Our cats seemed very happy. Will use again”

“This was the first time Tamsyn had looked after Bertie and Tilly but I would not hesitate to book her again. She was very pleasant and professional to deal with and did a great job of keeping us updated, as well as managing to get several photos of our elusive cats! I highly recommend her 😊”

“Caitlin come to provide company for Albie as he has separation anxiety and struggled to be left alone for any length of time. Albie really seemed to enjoy the time spent with Caitlin, which helped him to relax in the house while I was out. Caitlin was so nice, very professional, reliable and super punctual. I would definitely recommend.”

“Donna-Lee has looked after our 4 cats twice now when we have been away and we highly recommend her. She kept us up to date everyday via text and sent us pictures of our beloved cats which was very reassuring that they were all ok. It can be very daunting going on holiday and trying to find someone to take care of something so precious .With Donna-Lee you will have complete peace of mind. Professional, reliable animal lover your pets will be in extremely good hands. Thanks again Donna Josh & Morgane”

“Melissa was really great and came and met Cub before hand to make sure he was comfortable with her coming to the house. It really gave me peace of mind knowing that when she visited without me home Cub would be happy and excited. Will be asking Melissa to come back for sure.”

About: Based in Earls Barton, working 6-8 hour bar evening shifts on weekends. With over a decade of pet sitting experience, I am able to provide consistent care with treats, training, games, exercise - I’ll adapt to the needs of your dog to ensure they have the best care! My days are 100% flexible so I can maintain any schedule your dog is used to. Rate displayed on Rover may vary depending on hours / days required and specific pet needs. Discounted rates for House Sitting 2+ nights. Through Rover I have experience caring for senior dogs and reactive / stubborn dogs and lively puppies - safe to say I have looked after some great little pals with a range of needs. I have a senior Beagle at home, he is very relaxed and friendly with other dogs - I am able to keep pooches in separate rooms if needed but will only accept dogs that are neutered & have positive experience with other dogs. Also have an escape-proof garden for doggies to play / snooze as desired. I’ve cared for our 15 year old Beagle for 12 years, he’s a rescue and we’ve had him since he was 2. Early on he required a lot of attention, lots of training - like many rescues we weren’t sure exactly what to expect so it took lots of patience and treats! He’s now a slightly grumpy senior dog with limited mobility, and requires more physical assistance but less training and attention during the day (he’s probably asleep). I’m currently living at home, job hunting for a full time position, so I might pop out for a couple of hours but my days are super flexible. I work a few bar shifts on weekend evenings which are 5-8 hours. I am available on short notice - just ask :) I have a fenced garden and a very chilled out senior beagle for your pet to hang out with. I live next to a track leading down to a huge green open space next to the river great for long walks.
“Can’t recommend Lucie enough! My pup can be quite nervous when meeting new people, so we have a routine for introducing new friends. Lucie was so patient and calm, and asked all of the right questions, which worked wonders with our little guy. Definitely will be booking again in the future :)”

“Polly was great! very responsive on messages and our cat is very happy with her visits, will definitely be reaching out to polly for any future cat visit needs. Greatly appreciate it!”

About: Hello, my name is Luke. Thank you for your interest and wanting to find out more about me. Since I was a kid I've been brought up with pets and cared for them, e.g. ensured fresh food and water, walked them, kept their personal hygiene by brushing their hair and bathing ... - anything that the animals needs to be happy and well looked after. At the age of 16 I took my passion for animals further and started four years of animal management at College. I have gained more valuable experience with looking after all sort of animals, including dogs and making them feel comfortable around me. At the same time I started looking after my familys and friends dogs - just for a walk or for longer periods, for example holidays. Despite having my own daily schedule, the animal always gets 100% attention and all instructions by the owner are followed. I love all dog sizes and their different personalities ❤️ It is important to me to meet the dog and owner beforehand, take notes and provide regular updates. I am currently seeking a change of career into animal care and have a flexible working schedule to fit around any requirements. Pet care would also boost my fitness and mental well-being. I am sharing a two bed house with my partner. There is with a fenced garden at the rear, facing a big open field. There is plenty of space in the house for the dog to either socialise or have some quiet time.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 2 years old. I had a German Shepard and a golden retriever. I now have my own cocker spaniel. I absolutely adore animals especially dogs. I had my cocker spaniel trained by 12 weeks old. I’m patient and love getting out with them. I’m sympathetic and care a lot. My dog is my world so know your dogs would be loved and cared for just as much as mine is. Playing, walks or a cuddle they can have it all. I am currently in the middle of a career change so I will have plenty of time to play with your dogs, have cuddles or go for lovely walks! I have a fenced garden with locked gates. The doors are always locked for safety unless the dogs are in the garden where they will be monitored. I have one dog myself she is 3 years old and not spayed. Dogs are never left alone for longer than a hour if I have to pop to a shop and will be let out for the toilet every 2 hours unless needed earlier and will be taken for walks twice a day or three times a day. Dogs will be kept on a lead while on walks regardless of recall for their safety. If dogs are to go in a car to go to a country park for a walk with permission from owner, the dog will always have a dog seatbelt attached to a harness.
About: I’m a confident, reliable dog sitter with real hands-on experience caring for large and strong breeds. I’ve owned a rescue Doberman and a giant Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs that need structure, consistency, and a calm, capable handler. I’m trained in canine first aid and behaviour, so I know how to spot early signs of stress, illness, or injury and respond quickly and appropriately. This means your dog is not only well cared for, but in safe, knowledgeable hands at all times. I’ve also looked after plenty of dogs for friends and family, so I’m used to different personalities and routines. Whether your dog is energetic, strong-willed, or needs a bit of extra reassurance, they’ll be well looked after and happy with me. I work from home full time and am available at weekends, during lunch times and in the evenings. My work is fairly flexible so I will accommodate to your needs if possible. I will make sure that dogs are respected always and walks / visits will be accommodated towards your dogs needs to make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wellingborough choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
