Immediately they entered the house they made a big fuss of Andrew and he warmed to them instantly. We had lots of reassuring messages and pictures of him while we were away and on return he was happy and had obviously had wonderful care. The house was absolutely spotless as well. About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I spent six months volunteering at a dog rescue centre in Barbados, where I helped care for rescue dogs of different ages, sizes and backgrounds. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, general care and, of course, giving them plenty of love and attention. At home, my mum and I have two dogs of our own, including a rescue dog we brought home from Barbados, so caring for dogs is a big part of my everyday life. I’ve also regularly dog sat for friends and family, as well as caring for cats while family members have been away. I understand how important it is to know your pet is with someone you can trust, and I’ll always treat every animal in my care with the same love and attention I give my own. 🐾 I work a mixture of locally and from home, so my routine varies depending on the day. On my local working days, pets will be cared for in the morning before I leave, including feeding, toilet breaks and a walk where needed. As I work locally, I’m able to come home during the day, so dogs would need to be comfortable being left for up to around 4 hours at a time. I’m then home from around 5:30pm for the evening, with plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles and attention. On my work-from-home days, I’ll be home all day with the pets, so they’ll have plenty of company and attention throughout the day, as well as their usual walks, feeding and toilet breaks. At weekends, I’m fully available to spend my time with the animals in my care and will always do my best to keep to their normal routine. 🐾 I’ll always look after your pets in their own home, where they’re most comfortable and can stick to the routine they’re used to. “Paige just took care of our French Bulldog, Bruce, for 5 days and nights - in our home. We couldn’t recommend anyone more highly! Bruce is very hard work, he has a disability and very heightened anxiety. We have never left him with anyone that isn’t a family member since we re-homed him 5 years ago, due to his complex nature and the fact that he can be territorial in the home. Paige was so incredibly kind and patient. She took the time to come and meet him twice, without any hesitation and asked for absolutely nothing in return for her time and for driving a good 20 min drive each way on both occasions. She spent a significant time with us and him beforehand and was keen to understand all and everything she could do to make him most comfortable. Paige has just come to the end of taking care of him and we couldn’t be more grateful for her. We had detailed updates, photos and videos every single day (she did state that she was happy to do what we preferred so if you are good with less updates, that is fine with her - but we loved having multiple updates)! They detailed his eating, toileting, sleeping, walks and everything in between. She tailored her approach as he is disabled, not being at all bothered that we have to take a buggy on walks or that he cannot walk far, on one of her visits to meet him I explained that if I get the time on a walk, he actually loves to sit and people watch, low and behold, that was included in every walk - which I know he would’ve loved 🥹 She slept downstairs on the sofa with him on the first night to allow him to become fully comfortable with her being there, if that doesn’t say everything, I am not sure what does! As he lacks control of his bladder and bowels, she took care of replacing mats, washing bedding and mats every day, showering him, cleaning up his buggy - above and beyond what most would be willing to do! If you are looking for someone that will: - tailor their approach to your pets needs - respect the pet’s boundaries - be patient and understanding - highly communicative and happy to tailor the comms to your preferences - someone that will truly take the time to understand your pet - someone that takes extra care with your pet and their needs - someone that will not only respect your home but goes above and beyond to care of it (without any expectation, Paige put out the bins, cleaned and vacuumed the carpets, did numerous loads of washing, took in deliveries, cleaned kitchen sides, mopped floors, stripped bed linen off and so much more) Then Paige is your person. This was a whim, we genuinely thought that we’d struggle to find anyone that would take care of Bruce due to his complex needs and his nature. He is very hard to get to know, as he doesn’t trust people he doesn’t know at all. When I received a photo from Paige with his head laying on her lap and soft eyes looking up at her, and one of her scratching his belly, I knew that she’d put in an immense amount of effort with him. He never does either of those things with someone he doesn’t know very well and trust. Paige has become someone that we can trust and rely upon, and we are so incredibly grateful for all that she did, not only for Bruce, but to give us peace of mind too! Just to add, my Mum was the back up carer for this period, Paige even sent her updates too! The most amazing pet sitter that we will shout from the rooftops to recommend ❤️”

Since I was a kid I've been brought up with pets and cared for them, e.g. ensured fresh food and water, walked them, kept their personal hygiene by brushing their hair and bathing ... - anything that the animals needs to be happy and well looked after. At the age of 16 I took my passion for animals further and started four years of animal management at College. I have gained more valuable experience with looking after all sort of animals, including dogs and making them feel comfortable around me. At the same time I started looking after my familys and friends dogs - just for a walk or for longer periods, for example holidays. Despite having my own daily schedule, the animal always gets 100% attention and all instructions by the owner are followed. I love all dog sizes and their different personalities ❤️ It is important to me to meet the dog and owner beforehand, take notes and provide regular updates. I am currently seeking a change of career into animal care and have a flexible working schedule to fit around any requirements. Pet care would also boost my fitness and mental well-being. I am sharing a two bed house with my partner. There is with a fenced garden at the rear, facing a big open field. There is plenty of space in the house for the dog to either socialise or have some quiet time.

“Phoebe was absolutely fantastic! She looked after my puppy Charlotte 3 days in a row while I was sitting exams. She was extremely flexible and took the booking last minute as well as changing times here and there. Above all she was great with my pup Charlotte. She fed her, played with her and kept me updated with pics and videos. Charlotte is normally a nervous pup and has some separation anxiety but she was always really eager to go with Phoebe and ran straight up to her excited so I know she was always treated well :).
