Hi there. I previously worked as a dog-sitter through Dog Buddy, starting 2017, then as a pet sitter through House Sitters UK from 2021. I specialise in long-term house sits, from 6 weeks to three months. I’ve earned multiple five-star reviews and repeat bookings for my care. I’ve looked after older dogs and cats (between 9 and 21 years!) as well as puppies and kittens less than 12 months old. I can dispense medication and take care of reasonable toilet needs. I try and make sure pets get plenty of enrichment and stimulation as well as exercise and fuss. For dog walking, I have availability between 2 and 4pm on weekdays within 10 mins drive of Aldercar/Langley Mill, and I am available for regular bookings. If you're interested in hiring my services, we'll have a Zoom call so you can tell me more about your pet's routine and needs. This is also when we'd discuss your preferences for looking after your home; such as collecting mail, any areas you'd like to keep out of use, and ground rules.

Geraldine came to look after our much loved (and much spoilt) cat during the last two summers. We could not be more pleased with her. From the moment we met her, we knew that our cat was in safe hands. She took the time to understand our cat’s needs and schedule; kept us regularly updated and showed a genuine love for animals. Her care went above and beyond our expectation. Geraldine is very professional and trustworthy; knowing that she was staying with our cat allowed us to enjoy our summer holidays without worry. We returned from our holidays to a very happy cat and a tidy house. Highly recommend Geraldine if you are looking for someone trustworthy and loving to look after your furry friend.
We felt confident leaving our little girl with Geraldine. Our Maya was alot calmer coming home than if she had stayed at the kennels. Geraldine's home is lovely with a large garden for the dogs. We hope to have Maya stay with Geraldine again for our next holiday.
Belle had a lovely stay and although had an upset tummy, Geraldine made sure she was happy and let me know she was okay. Lovely photo sent too of her rolling around on the grass.

Schedule
From September I'll be working part-time from 10am-2.45pm in the Amber Valley region of Derbyshire. So I'm best placed to look after cats, or senior pups who are at home for 5–6 hours! I like to go to a local gym a few times a week, and church on Sundays. I'm a responsible, tidy and quiet house sitter. I thrive on a good routine and an orderly space. I have my own car that I'd be using for transport.
