I am a first line technical support specialist, and because I work from home, I am around throughout the day to provide constant company and regular potty breaks between my incoming calls. My days start and end with movement. I am very active and I love walking, which means your pup will join me for dedicated, refreshing walks right before I log on for work and immediately after I finish my shift. During the workday, guest dogs hang out with me and my friendly 7 years old Beagle, Barney. They have total peace of mind in a spacious four bedroom house with plenty of room to stretch their legs, alongside a big, fully secure garden that is absolutely perfect for play time. Because I treat guest dogs exactly like family, your pup will enjoy a balance of active outdoor time,and endless daytime companionship. When pets stay in my home, they are fully integrated into a stable, welcoming family environment. Because I work remotely, my setup allows me to provide consistent, background companionship throughout the day while managing my tasks. When I care for pets in the owner's home, my approach is all about minimising their stress by keeping them in familiar surroundings. For drop-in visits, I use my midday break or after work hours to pop in, refresh food and water, clean litter trays, and offer one-on-one attention. If an owner requires overnight house sitting, I stay at their property to provide security and comfort through the night, and I can easily bring my laptop to work right from their space during the day to keep their pet company if required. No matter the setting, I keep owners completely connected to their pets by sending regular, detailed updates alongside plenty of photos and messages.

About: PLEASE READ ALL 🐾 Hello, I'm Darcey :) I have studied and received qualifications in animal care & management, so have plenty of experience allowing me to look after your fur baby while you're away, whether it be overnights, for the day or just out on walks. I also have experience working with in a veterinary setting allowing me to care for your pets health professionally during their stay. I have owned my own pets since childhood, ranging from exotics creatures like lizards and hedgehogs, to cats and dogs both large and small so your pets are in good hands. I currently charge £25 per night, please be aware rover adds their own charge to my rate so it may appear higher I am currently on maternity leave so have plenty of time to spend with your pet while you are away so just let me know what you both need! ☺️ X I have a large back garden and 2 cats of my own to keep your pet company, or I am happy to keep them seepertated if needed! I'm free all day to play, walk, feed and just keep an eye on them while you're away x

I’ve owned a rescue Doberman and a giant Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs that need structure, consistency, and a calm, capable handler. I’m trained in canine first aid and behaviour, so I know how to spot early signs of stress, illness, or injury and respond quickly and appropriately. This means your dog is not only well cared for, but in safe, knowledgeable hands at all times. I work from home full time and am available at weekends, during lunch times and in the evenings. My work is fairly flexible so I will accommodate to your needs if possible. I am confident to support with medication, look after nervous, anxious and even aggressive dogs. Your requirements can be discussed if you do have a young dog or even a dog needing to gain some confidence eg a rehome. I can provide a safe, warm home environment for elderly dogs and can offer them time and my experience to ensure they settle in my home. Your pet can socialise with my dogs if this is beneficial but can also be kept separately if required. I have experience working with guide dogs and assistance dogs. My own dogs have been registered Pets As Therapy dogs and used to help individuals conquer dog phobias. Please get in touch to discuss how I might be able to help. 1:1 training opportunities also available by request. I work part time and can devote part and full days to looking after your pet. Pets can be walked once or twice a day with regular toilet breaks. I have a fully secure garden with direct access to local fields and footpaths for county walks. Dogs can be with my own dogs or kept separately if required. Whichever is more beneficial for your pet. I am happy to use crates but this is not a necessity. Dogs can sleep upstairs if required and are welcome on the sofa.
