About: I’m a confident, reliable dog sitter with real hands-on experience caring for large and strong breeds. I’ve owned a rescue Doberman and a giant Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs that need structure, consistency, and a calm, capable handler. I’m trained in canine first aid and behaviour, so I know how to spot early signs of stress, illness, or injury and respond quickly and appropriately. This means your dog is not only well cared for, but in safe, knowledgeable hands at all times. I’ve also looked after plenty of dogs for friends and family, so I’m used to different personalities and routines. Whether your dog is energetic, strong-willed, or needs a bit of extra reassurance, they’ll be well looked after and happy with me. I work from home full time and am available at weekends, during lunch times and in the evenings. My work is fairly flexible so I will accommodate to your needs if possible. I will make sure that dogs are respected always and walks / visits will be accommodated towards your dogs needs to make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

About: License No: 26/01074/AWBH Hi, I'm Oli! While I am just starting out with professional pet sitting, I have loved, owned, and cared for animals my entire life. For me, pets aren't just a hobby - they are family, and I know exactly how tough it can be to leave your four legged best friend behind. I am always looking after my friends' dogs when they go away, and I’ve proudly become their reliable friend who they know they can always count on. I also have my own 7 years old Beagle named Barney, so your pup will have a very friendly, experienced companion to hang out with. Whether your pup is a high energy explorer who thrives on long, active walks or prefers belly rubs and lounging around, I adapt completely to their personality and your specific routine. You can have total peace of mind knowing they are in a great environment, as I have a spacious house with plenty of room for dogs to relax and stretch their legs, alongside a big, fully secure garden that is absolutely perfect for zoomies and playing fetch. Your pup will never be short on attention, affection, or companionship. I’m reliable, attentive, and fully committed to keeping you updated with plenty of photos and messages throughout their stay so you always know how they are doing. I can't wait to meet your dog and give them the best day ever! My daily and weekly routine is built around an active lifestyle and plenty of pet companionship. My days start and end with movement. I am very active and I love walking, which means your pup will join me for dedicated, refreshing walks first thing in the morning and evening. During the day guest dogs hang out with me and my friendly 7 years old Beagle, Barney. They have total peace of mind in a spacious four bedroom house with plenty of room to stretch their legs, alongside a big, fully secure garden. Because I treat guest dogs exactly like family, your pup will enjoy a balance of active outdoor time, and endless daytime companionship. When pets stay in my home, they are fully integrated into a stable, welcoming family environment, providing consistent companionship throughout the day. When I care for pets in the owner's home, my approach is all about minimising their stress by keeping them in familiar surroundings. If an owner requires overnight house sitting, I stay at their property to provide security and comfort through the night. No matter the setting, I keep owners completely connected to their pets by sending regular, detailed updates alongside plenty of photos and messages.

About: Hi, I’m Maria. My husband and I live in Hanwood Park, and together we offer a calm, loving, home-from-home environment where dogs and cats are truly treated as part of the family. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of many breeds and personalities — Schnauzers, Cocker Spaniels, Shih Tzus, Boxers, Lhasa Apsos, Weimaraners, and more — as well as cats. Over the years, friends and families have trusted me with their pets again and again, knowing they’ll be loved, understood, and cared for with patience and attention. What matters most to me is that every dog feels safe, relaxed, and emotionally settled while they’re with us. A Home Built on Trust, Not Just Care I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else — they’re family, not “just a pet.” That’s why I’ve always focused on building long-term trust and familiarity with the dogs I care for, rather than quick, one-off stays. Because my husband and I work as a team of two, your dog benefits from: 🐾Constant human presence 🐾Consistent routines 🐾A calm, stable home environment 🐾Never left alone for long periods 🐾Plenty of affection, cuddles, and gentle play 🐾Walks tailored to your dog’s routine and energy level 🐾Access to a garden for fresh air and relaxed time outdoors 🐾Care adapted to your dog’s personality — playful or quiet, young or senior 🐾Regular updates, photos, or videos if you’d like We especially love caring for dogs whose owners are looking for consistency and continuity — a familiar home they can return to whenever you travel, work, or need support. When a dog stays with us, they’re not just being looked after — they’re welcomed into our home and cared for with patience, kindness, and respect. If you’d like to arrange a meet & greet or ask any questions, I’d be very happy to hear from you. We look forward to welcoming your dog My husband and I both work from home, which means your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. We naturally build pet care into our daily routine, including walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding schedules, and quiet rest time. We’re available for boarding during weekdays, weekends, and longer stays, and we always aim to create a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family. We provide a calm home environment with a secure garden, consistent routines, and lots of gentle attention and affection. Because there are two of us, pets are never left alone for long periods and always have someone nearby for reassurance and care. We take time to understand each pet’s personality, habits, and needs so they can feel settled, comfortable, and truly at home with us.

About: Save £30 on your first booking with my promo code ZOEC43917! Just enter it at checkout to claim your discount. I have experience looking after dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to senior pets and those who are a little more nervous. My priority is making sure every pet feels safe, relaxed, and comfortable in their own environment while sticking as closely as possible to their usual routine. I take the time to get to know each pet and their individual needs, whether that’s taking things a little slower on walks, keeping to a structured routine, or giving extra care and patience to older or more anxious pets. Occasionally, my partner will join me during a house sit to keep me (and the pets!) company. If that isn’t something you’re comfortable with, or you think it wouldn’t suit your pet, just let me know beforehand and I’m more than happy to work around it. While you’re away, I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well looked after. I always make sure they get plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and affection, so they feel settled until you’re home again. I’m reliable, punctual, and genuinely love caring for animals. I’ll always treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect as if they were my own. I am currently working and studying from home so I am available for all pet needs and services. Caring for pets is already apart of my daily routine having many pets myself. I’m able to care for pets both in my own home and in the pet owner’s home, depending on what is most comfortable for the pet and preferred by the owner. When caring for pets in the owner’s home, I aim to keep their routine as normal as possible. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime, and any specific instructions such as medication. I also make sure the home is left clean and secure, and I provide regular updates with photos so the owner has peace of mind. When caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment. I ensure they have a comfortable space, follow their usual feeding routine, and give them plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel relaxed and cared for during their stay. In both cases, my priority is always the pet’s wellbeing, comfort, and safety.

About: We are a fun animal loving family, with 3 children and a GoldenDoodle and old girl chocolate Labrador who loves a sofa! We can provide a safe and happy holiday in beautiful surroundings. We live in a peaceful village location surrounded by plenty of fields, woods and water and walk in the mornings and evenings too across rolling fields, open farmland, streams and meadows. Once the dogs have had fun together running, exploring and the occasional swim they can relax and chill at home where we have a very comfortable family home for them to be a part of (even allowed a sofa to snooze on!) The house is quiet all day until the children come home from school. Aged 9, 14 and 16. Plus my husband works from home. We’re a dog loving family and have the time and space for doggie guests 🐾 We have a gated driveway and secure back garden. Dogs are free to roam around the house, unless we’ve had a very muddy walk then a paw wash with the mud daddy with warm soapy water and dry off in the utility room. Happy to allow dogs upstairs and sofas, unless they’re better overnight in their crate, will follow their usual routine and feeding requirements if requested. Fully Licensed by Northamptonshire council for 5 dogs. 4 star rating ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I’m at home with the dogs so we usually do an hour walk in the fields opposite and then chill out at home and have regular playtime, often we do a 2nd hour walk in the evenings with the family 🐾 We have a safe enclosed garden with access to the garden several times a day if not then all day with the doors to the kitchen open. Lawn and patio plus a doggy paddling pool. Lots of toys 🧸 ⚽️

Your pet can socialise with my dogs if this is beneficial but can also be kept separately if required. I have experience working with guide dogs and assistance dogs. Please get in touch to discuss how I might be able to help. 1:1 training opportunities also available by request. I work part time and can devote part and full days to looking after your pet. Pets can be walked once or twice a day with regular toilet breaks. I have a fully secure garden with direct access to local fields and footpaths for county walks. About: Hi, I’m Tor. A lifelong dog lover offering dog boarding and doggy daycare from my family home on a quiet farm. I know how worrying it can be leaving your dog with someone new, so my aim is simple: to give them a safe, calm place where they feel completely at home while you’re away. I work from home, which means dogs in my care are rarely left alone and are treated as part of the family rather than just another booking. We’re lucky to live on a farm with easy access to countryside walks and fresh air. There’s also a large, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely play, relax, and have toilet breaks throughout the day. Walks are always tailored to each dog’s energy level and routine. I have a gentle 2-year-old daughter who has grown up around dogs and is very calm with them. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I only take dogs that are friendly with children and other dogs. A meet & greet beforehand helps make sure it’s the right fit. Every dog is different, so I do my best to stick closely to their normal routine. I’m happy to: • Follow specific feeding schedules • Provide separate sleeping or feeding spaces if needed • Give medication exactly as instructed • Offer quieter spaces for nervous or older dogs Most importantly, your dog will get plenty of company, attention, and cuddles while they’re here. I’m fully insured and genuinely love caring for dogs. My goal is to give them a relaxed home-from-home stay so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re happy and well looked after. Feel free to message me if you’d like to arrange a meet & greet. I work from home so I’m with the dogs throughout the day, offering regular outdoor time, countryside walks around our land, companionship and a calm environment. Dogs in my home are cared for as part of the family. They have free access to our warm, relaxed downstairs living areas, a large enclosed garden for play and toilet breaks, and beautiful country walks right on our doorstep. With a friendly resident dogs, it’s a loving, home-from-home setting where every dog receives personalised attention, reassurance and plenty of affection.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Wellingborough on Rover is £24.15 per day (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,303 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Wellingborough. About 88% of Wellingborough sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Wellingborough commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in East Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
