Doggy Day Care in Bedford

About: I used to have my own very sweet labrador and have looked after a range of dogs from German Shepards to Shetland Sheepdogs. All ranging in age from 5 months to 13 years. Having already completed an IMDT course i plan to further this knowledge by undertaking more courses going forwards. My experience has involved working on loose lead walking, using positive reinforcement, as well as walking dogs who are reactive and of course play and love :) .I love all animals and also have some experience with cats and lizards, and I try to educate myself on pet care as best as I can; it has always been a special interest of mine. Dog walking and animal care is my full time job. I pride myself on devoting most of my time and energy to helping care for animals :) I am happy to take dogs for a walk and I can come to look after your pets at your home including feeding, playing and letting them out into the garden. I also provide boarding and doggy day care services, (please note there are 5 other people in the house and stairs to the main living room area)

About: Dogs have always been part of our family life. Over the years, we’ve looked after our own dog as well as those of relatives and friends, and it’s something we truly love doing. Our little girl is growing up with dogs and always shares the sweetest, most loving bond with them. In our home, everyone is welcomed like family, with loads of cuddles, play in the garden, and plenty of long walks together specially to priory marina park which is just around the corner from us. I’m currently a stay at home mum, and I love spending time with dogs throughout the day mornings, afternoons, and evenings. We’re morning people and very active, so dogs with us get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship right from the start of the day. I make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and part of the family. We have a fully fenced garden where they can play freely, and we spend lots of time, playing, and going on long walks. I pay attention to their routines, needs, and personalities so they feel happy and comfortable while they’re with us.

“Lucy is absolutely AMAZING! From the very first enquiry, Lucy was prompt, professional, and warm in her communication. We arranged a meet-up at Lucy’s home to ensure both Mabel and Lucy felt comfortable with each other. Although our request was very last-minute and initially just for day sitting, after meeting Lucy and seeing how kind and caring she was with Mabel, we asked if she could look after her overnight for our Wedding Day and Evening — and she kindly agreed. Lucy went above and beyond by liaising directly with my aunty, who was caring for Mabel the day before and after her stay. She kept us both regularly updated and shared lots of lovely photos of Mabel looking happy and settled throughout. It’s clear that Lucy and her family absolutely adore dogs. They cared for Mabel as if she were their own, and when she returned home, she was calm and content — a stark contrast to the usual anxiety she experiences when away from us. I wholeheartedly recommend Lucy to anyone looking for a loving and reliable dog sitter. We’ll definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. My grandparents lived on a farm with lots of dogs, so I grew up feeding them, grooming them, bathing them, and just taking care of them like they were mine. I got my own dog, Pongo, about 12 years ago. He was the happiest, cuddliest Dalmatian and taught me everything from basic training to caring for a senior dog. In 2020, we added a second dog, Nairobi, who came from a Romanian rescue. She arrived with a lot of fear and emotional scars, so I spent a lot of time working with her, building trust, and helping her come out of her shell. Now she’s a, let's say, quirky dog who gets along great with others. Because of all this, I’m very comfortable with puppies, rescue dogs, and dogs who need a little extra patience or emotional support. After losing Pongo in 2024, Nairobi would love a friendly companion—so any dog I watch gets not just my care, but a sweet playmate if they want one. I treat every dog like family, because that’s how I was raised. I'm currently working from home, so I will have plenty of time to play with your doggos. I'm available weekdays and weekends at any time! When I’m caring for pets in my home, my main focus is making them feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family. I keep their routine as close to normal as possible—meals, walks, rest time, and whatever habits they’re used to. I also have a fully fenced garden where they can explore and enjoy the outdoors. As soon as the weather warms up, Nairobi spends most of her day out there sunbathing and only comes inside for water or a quick cool-down, and visiting dogs usually love doing the same. If a pet is staying overnight, especially during fireworks season, I make sure our last walk is earlier in the evening so everyone is settled before the noise begins. Our house has very good sound insulation, and with the TV on you can barely hear anything from outside, which helps dogs stay calm and comfortable. If we’re just popping in for walks, Nairobi and I always take our time. She loves to explore and sniff every single leaf, so we’re never in a rush. If your dog enjoys it, we can also play fetch or add in some extra playtime to make the walk even more fun. Overall, I do everything I can to make pets feel at home and cared for, just like I do with my own dog.

About: My dog Rudy is a very happy, playful girl and she is the reason why I would like to be a sitter myself. She deserves all the joy in the world and since she loves other dogs (and people!) so much, I thought it would be a nice way for her to have some companionship until I inevitably decide to adopt another dog .. As for me.. I have loved and cared for animals since I can remember- puppies, kittens, birds, rodents, lizards, anything my parents would allow. I am patient, caring, playful and have the time and space to provide a wonderful sitting experience I work from home several days per week and my retired (but very active!) father is here full-time, which means your pup will get lots of attention, supervision, and company throughout the day. I have a very large, fully enclosed garden where dogs can run, play, and relax safely, plus easy access to fields and countryside walks for plenty of exercise and sniffing adventures. …and whilst I do have kitties, my cottage is laid out in a way so that canines and felines have plenty of comfortable space to themselves

About: I’ve take care of dogs of every kinds since I was 5 years old, I was have two lovely dogs which i was always looking after them feed them and take them for outside. I’m currently working part-time , so I have plenty of time to play with your puppy’s, taken them for wall feed them and have fun. I have big fenced yard and one friendly my French bulldog :) to keep your fur baby company. I can easy crate your dog if needed…

I am currently available for Walks, drop-ins, day care and overnight boarding full time Monday-Sunday. I'm currently working seasonal part time hours. I can be available to you Monday- Sunday at anytime. I'm very flexible and will try to accommodate any request. I have a fully fenced garden and a quiet, child and smoke free home. About: We've owned and cared for friends and family pooches over the past six years, my wife works from home and we treat any of of four legged friends as if they were are own, with lots of care, affection and snuggles. With a country park literally right on our doorstep, your pooches can be assured that they can have as much or as little exercise as they want. My wife and I both work from home and can provide regular toilet breaks, attention, affection and exercise when needed for your pooches so they can feel relaxed and welcome in this home from home. We have a 3yr old iggy boy, and our property has an enclosed rear garden with 6ft fences and also a gated and fenced front of house with netting to avoid those escape artists taking their chances.
