Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my everyday life. I structure my days around the needs of the pets I care for, whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening feedings and snuggle time. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to adapt easily to each pet’s routine. On a daily basis, I prioritize: • Walks and playtime for physical and mental stimulation • Feeding and medication at consistent times • Updates for pet parents, including photos and notes • Grooming tasks like brushing or wiping paws if needed Throughout the week, I make sure to rotate activities, check supplies, and stay on top of any changes in behaviour or health. I also schedule time for continued learning—whether it’s reading up on breed-specific needs or attending new Canine training courses. Caring for animals isn’t something I fit in—it’s something I build my life around because it’s what I genuinely love doing. Currently available 24/7 for Dog Boarding and Care. Obviously at home caring for my 3 Year Old Son but also my 5 Year Old Cockapoo Dog as well.

Information Lauren G. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for any dog, I always like to gather key information to make sure I provide the safest, most comfortable experience possible. Some important things I ask about include: 🐾 Health and Medical Needs • Any allergies or medical conditions • Medications and how/when to administer them (Extra Charge) • Mobility issues or sensitivities • Vaccination and flea/tick prevention status 🐾 Behavior and Temperament • How they react to new people (Specifically Young children), animals, or environments • Any fear triggers (e.g., loud noises, other dogs, thunderstorms) • History of aggression or biting • Comfort level with being alone, crated, or handled 🐾 Daily Routine • Feeding schedule and dietary restrictions • Potty schedule and any commands used • Sleep habits—where they usually sleep and if they need comfort items • Favourite activities, toys, or walking routes 🐾 Training and Rules • Commands they know or are working on • Any behaviours to discourage (e.g., jumping, chewing) • House rules (e.g., are they allowed on furniture? Off-leash? Treats?) Knowing these things ahead of time helps me create a calm, structured environment where your dog feels safe, respected, and happy.
A typical day
I believe every pet deserves fun, stimulating activities tailored to their personality, age, and energy level! Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a laid-back senior, I always find ways to keep them happy and engaged. Some of the activities I love doing with the pets I care for include: • Walks and nature adventures: Exploring local parks or trails, letting them sniff and enjoy new environments • Interactive play: Games like fetch, tug-of-war, or chase in a fenced garden. • Training games: Practicing commands using positive reinforcement—great for puppies or smart dogs who love a challenge • Puzzle toys and treat games: Keeps their mind sharp and prevents boredom • Cuddle time and relaxation: Some dogs just want love and a comfy place to rest— and I’m happy to provide that too! We’ll play a bunch of games including fetch, tug of war, find with treats and mentally stimulate them With basic training to learn new tricks. All in the comforts of my large garden . Long walks around the park near my house and trips to priory country park 10 minute drive away.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart from other sitters is my combination of hands-on experience, specialized care skills, and genuine passion for animals. I don’t just watch pets—I care for them like they’re my own. 🐾 Special Skills and Experience: • Puppy Training: I have experience helping puppies with basic obedience, crate training, and potty routines. I understand the patience and consistency needed to give them a great start. • Senior Dog Care: I’m comfortable administering medication, supporting mobility issues, and tailoring activities to meet the slower pace and special needs of older dogs. • Behavioural Awareness: I pay close attention to body language and behaviour cues to ensure your dog feels safe, secure, and understood. 🐶 What You Can Expect: • Reliable, timely communication • Daily updates and photos • Customized care based on your dog’s personality, age, and routine • A calm, confident presence your dog can trust Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs training and structure, or a senior dog who needs gentle, attentive care, I’m here to provide more than just a service—I provide peace of mind.
Reviews

I felt very at ease knowing that Otter was in Lauren’s care for the week. He got lots of walks and I got regular updates. She is so easy going and dealt with Otter’s quirks in her stride!

Otter has arrived home very sleepy and content after his day with Lauren ☺️ we received update photos where he looked settled in and happy. Look forward to using Lauren again.

Lauren was a wonderful host to our two dogs, for a week over Easter. We receieved regular updates to reassure us that our girls had settled in well and were enjoying their stay.

Our cockapoo loved staying at Lauren’s! She sent us so many photos and kept us up to date. We will definitely recommend to others and use again! :)
