About: I've taken care of dogs over the last 17 years at all stages of life. Always looked after the neighbors dogs since I can remember also. Dog Experience - Multiple dogs in the family. Currently have Cookie, a toy poodle who is the chillest dog in the world. Cat experience - Had a cat called Kitty that appeared in my room when I came back from uni one Christmas, loved her to pieces. Pride myself in sharing the laid back caring attitude with pets of all size. I'm currently working at home full time and have availability all the time to help when needed! I'm always at home spending time with Cookie. He loves it when family and friends come to visit for the day or weeks! Stay in a 4 bedroom house, giving ample space for your bundle of joys. Full garden also with access to a park nearby. Daily walks to keep everyone active.
“Sarah and her lovely boys are great! Ray had the best day with them all and I got lots of pics and videos throughout the day. I’ve rebooked two nights with Sarah soon and I know Ray will have the best time!”

About: I’ve spent a lot of time caring for dogs and absolutely love it. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, and sticking to each dog’s routine. I make sure every pup feels safe, happy, and well loved while you’re away. I regularly look after my grandmother's two sausage dogs (see pictures of them enjoying some puppy ice cream) I'm currently working full time from home, so I have plenty of time to look after your dog throughout the day - whether that's feeding times, midday walks or to keep them (me) company. I'm available for overnight stays at weekends. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I keep a clean, calm environment and always follow your pet’s routine, rules, and care instructions. I supervise pets at all times, use leashes on walks, and make sure they feel secure, relaxed, and at home.
“Chose to leave Willow with Fiona again because she is very comfortable with her and the family. She actually took her off lead on her walk and Willow stayed with her. Very capable dog sitter especially considering she had two dogs and her own. Would recommend her to anyone wanting a sitter. Willow is happy there.”

“Shelley and Dave were really nice and understanding of my puppy's needs. This was the first time I left him with someone so I was a bit sad and worried. But they sent me lots of pictures of my baby playing with the family and that was really nice to see and reassuring. I will use their services again. Thank you!”

“Anna has just looked after my miniature dachshund for the first time. She was friendly, punctual and kept in regular contact throughout the day - lots of lovely pics - which was great! She walked him and fed him and he seems very happy. Thank you :)”

About: Hey I’m Millie from Hitchin. I run my own fitness coaching business full time so I have total control over my own diary, flexibility and love anything fitness and wellbeing related including spending time outdoors and doing lots of steps! I often break up my days getting out and moving anyway so would love some company for walks. If there’s one thing for sure I’ll make sure your dog gets a great bit of exercise and has fun! I’ve got experience in looking after a lot of different breeds including cocka/cavapoo, spaniels, labradors, golden retriever, Doberman and some cross breeds too! I’ve got a soft spot for Labradors as I grew up with them! I look forward to looking after some more lovely dogs along the way until I get one of my own one day! I work from home full time so I am in control of my own diary and can be flexible, I walk a lot anyway no matter if it’s rain or shine as it’s great for your mind and body and I love the outdoors. I am used to feeding, giving dinner or lunch after walks if needed, rinsing or towelling them down after a swim and getting them back in the crate if needed to make sure they are settled. Happy to access via a lock box or key provided.
About: Pet Care Experience I’ve always loved animals and have years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a gentle senior, I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, quirks, and needs. What sets me apart is my calm, caring approach — I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m attentive to details, patient with shy or anxious dogs, and make sure each one feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Pet care is a regular part of my week — I love starting and ending my days with walks, playtime, and cuddles. I plan my schedule around the pets I look after to make sure they get my full attention and consistent care. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or weekend stays, I always make time to keep each pet’s routine as normal and happy as possible. When pets stay with me, they’re treated like part of the family. I make sure they have a comfortable space to relax, regular walks, and plenty of attention and affection. I follow each pet’s usual routine — feeding times, walks, and any special needs — to help them feel settled and secure. I keep my home clean, calm, and pet-friendly, with safe areas for play and rest. Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa or fun in the garden, I make sure every pet feels loved and cared for while they’re here.
About: I’ve had pets since I can remember and have always had a dog in the family home. My partner Declan and I are the go-to dog sitters for our friends and families, looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes from cuddly cockapoos to energetic springer spaniels! My family dog was a rescue and so I’m familiar dealing with dogs who are anxious on the lead/need a little more care than some others. We live in an apartment and are unable to get our own permanent dog just yet, but love taking care of other people’s to fill the puppy shaped hole! As we are in an apartment however we’re unable to take on any pets that aren’t fully toilet trained. We understand the value of routine and love to take care of every dog as though they were our own, with long walks both in town and through the surrounding countryside. Your dog will feel safe and at home with us, and you’ll get regular pup-dates so you can be sure they’re enjoying their stay! I work from the office two days per week but can be flexible with this to accommodate mid-week bookings. I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 5pm. We have an outside area for bathroom breaks and your dog will be supervised whenever they are outside. We love cuddles on the sofa but do ask for medium/large dogs to sleep on their own bed rather than sharing ours!

About: Hi I'm Jo. I’m a lifelong dog lover offering overnight boarding and daycare from my cozy, pet-friendly home. I work from home full-time in my studio, so your pup will have company, love, and attention throughout the day. Our home is calm and welcoming, shared with a cat and occasionally my young daughter (mostly during after-school hours). Because of this, I ask that dogs are comfortable around both children and cats. I’ve been a dog owner on and off throughout my life, and I truly love having a cuddly, chilled-out pup around to keep me company. If your dog enjoys a peaceful home, plenty of snuggles, and relaxed walks, we’ll be a perfect match. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! I work from home Tuesday to Friday in my home studio, with full access to the house and garden. I take regular breaks throughout the day to walk and play with a dog. I'm also available for boarding every other weekend. My garden is fully dog-safe and surrounded by other gardens, offering plenty of space for your pet to explore and relax throughout the day. I also have two dog-friendly cats who would love the chance to get to know your pooch.

About: We live in a lovely quiet village and have walks from the back of our garden. I absolutely love dogs and now have more time to devote to other dogs..We have 2 extremely gentle and friendly Golden Retrievers who love walks in the Countryside and we have bred dogs so have many years experience with young and old dogs. Any dog staying with us will have 2 walks a day and one of us at hand all the time. One of our dogs is a Therapy dog and I have had previous therapy dogs, proving that I have a lot of training experience with dogs. We are around virtually all the time between us, in the day and evenings and weekends. They would fit in to our dogs routine of walks and meals We have a totally secure fenced garden looking out onto open fields in our rural setting here in our village near Baldock, Letchworth and Stevenage. They will have full run of downstairs and our secured garden.
About: George and I have our own Maltipoo Bertie who LOVES dogs and wants some pals. We are huge dog lovers and can offer them a lovely space to play/relax/roam around safely. Our garden is fake grass, fully fenced and gets a nice amount of shade and sunshine. We have a doggy paddling pool and lots of toys to entertain playful and not so playful pups. We tend not to look after more than one additional dog at a time, but if both come from the same home and/or know eachother well this is fine by us. George and I both work from home full time in a relatively easy-going jobs where we can dedicate a lot of time to our own pup Bertie and hopefully more! Bertie is typically walked in the middle of the day in large open fields and paths in a lovely area of Hitchin (Purwell, and Oughtonhead) for an hour or so each day but is very happy to do more or less at different times of the day so we can cater to the needs of other pups. I own my ground floor flat with a garden. I’m always on hand to let them out into the Garden and answer their needs with my flexible job role. Typically in the summer the garden door will be open as will the garden office/shed so dogs can move about as they please.
About: Growing up surrounded by a menagerie of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, parrots and a lizard, I have been caring for animals for over 30 years and feel that a home isn't really a home without a furry companion. Owning various pets over the years has results in me being confident in animal care and behaviour. I lead an active life and have run with, climbed mountains and trained from a puppy our working cocker spaniel, who even in old age was mistaken for a puppy! Most recently, I have supported the rehabilitation of a stray Lurcher which came into our care. Teaching her how to live in a home and learn commands and what a toy was, has been extremely rewarding. If your pet has boundless energy or is timid, old or young, this is not a problem and I can easily adapt and prioritise your pet's individual needs. There are woods and many walks in my local area and I am also close to secure dog parks if this forms part of your pets routine. Muddy boots and paws welcome! At a glance, I can offer: * 35 years plus experience * a focus on enrichment and providing a safe environment * confident to administer basic oral medication - easy access to veterinary support * experience of working with dogs of different temperaments * happy to also feed and care for other small pets * Available 24/7 during school holidays * up to date Pet sitting insurance Perfect for all your school holiday, evening and weekend needs! I currently work full-time as a teacher. This allows me to have weekends totally free 24/7. I can be available from 3:30pm weekdays and possibly lunchtimes if you live locally to my work. I am able to take at short notice so please just ask. During the school holiday ( Christmas, Easter, Summer and half terms) I am available 24/7 I recommend a meet and great prior to the booking to discuss the individual needs of your pet. It would be great to know commands and favourite toys etc so I can fully engage with your dog and they can be at ease. On walks, I will always keep your dog on a lead and avoid other dogs unless you are able to inform me of any doggy friends your pet has. Due to my current employment I am DBS checked and offer a trusted and reliable service.
“Shakira had the best day with Elena. Walking, swimming, meeting other dogs, lunch outdoors, visiting horses. Elena kept her physically and mentally stimulated. She sent loads of pictures and videos throughout the day and she has taken the greatest care of my fur baby. I would definitely recommend Elena! Thumbs up!”

About: We have both been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have cared for all kinds of personalities — from bouncy, energetic walkers to calm, cuddly sofa companions. Friends, family and neighbours have trusted me to walk, feed and look after their dogs, and I genuinely love spending time with them. We have my own rescue pup who is around 7 years old and happy to have company. We are reliable, patient and always make sure dogs feel safe, happy and relaxed while their owners are away. Whether your dog needs long sniffy walks, playtime, routine and structure, or just plenty of fuss and reassurance, they’ll be treated like one of our own. We offer home boarding in a relaxed, family environment where dogs are truly part of the household. We both work at the fire station, which is located on the same grounds as our home, meaning we’re nearby and able to check in regularly throughout the day — even on working days. Dogs are never left for long periods and always have company, routine and attention. Daily walks and cuddles are absolutely non-negotiable. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness are our top priorities. Our home has ample space, including additional separate areas if a dog needs extra room, quiet time or a slower introduction. We have a 7-year-old dog, Rolo, who is playful, friendly and happy to have company with the right introduction. All introductions are done calmly and carefully, and dogs are never left unattended together. If needed, dogs can be comfortably separated in their own space. We follow routines closely, are careful with feeding, walks, doors and supervision, and we always provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, settled and well cared for.

Angelika and her husband have been amazing with our spaniel puppy Winston. He hasn’t spent a lot of time around other dogs so is very unsure. They went out of their way to meet and walk with us so he was comfortable to stay with their lovely dog Oli. Winston had a good time and we will definitely be booking again 😊

Corinne was amazing! We had a meet and greet before leaving our Winston for day care and he immediately recognised her and felt more comfortable. Was our first time leaving our puppy with anyone and we felt Winston was in great hands! Lots of lovely updates, and he now absolutely loves her. He will definitely be coming back 😊

Mabel has the best time with Jade, she is always excited to spend the day there and we know she will be well looked after and given lots of love and attention! Jade sends lots of lovely updates and pictures from their walks and chill time. We are always happy when she is available!☺️

Mabel seemed to have a really great day with Jordan, she didn’t want to leave the house!! We received lots of lovely pictures and updates on how their day was going and I felt very happy leaving her in a dog-loving home that she was comfortable in. Thank you!! ☺️

Poppy stayed with Sheena for a couple of hours today in preparation for her week long visit in a couple of weeks time. Sheena was great with keeping us updated while Poppy was with her about how she settled, including photos and videos of her eating and the lovely walk they went on. It really did put our minds at rest for Poppy’s upcoming week long visit that she will be well cared for. Thank you Sheena.

Loki had a lovely time staying with Beth. They went on a nice walk during the time we were away. Loki settled quickly at Beth’s home and spent time chilling in the garden. Communication with Beth was great and we would not hesitate to book with her again. Thank you!

Andy and Kadie have been caring for our dog, Lexi once a week over the past few months and they have always been great. They are very kind, caring and clearly have a genuine love for dogs. Lexi absolutely loves going – she gets so excited the moment she realises where she is headed, which says it all! It has been a comfort knowing she is in such good hands each week. Communication has always been great – I have always received regular updates and photos, which I have really appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, loving dog care - thank you Andy and Kadie!
