My morning would start with a long enriching walk with your pup, with lots of time to take in all the smells! Breakfast would follow after that and some relaxing at home. Some training and games in the afternoon, and a long walk in the evening followed by dinner. I’m also often going on hikes and days out in the countryside, and I’d love for your pup to join me. These are long walks with breaks, depending on your dogs exercise needs. All walks will be on the lead. I have a secure garden with 6 foot fencing. I have dog beds with memory foam mattresses for your dog to sleep and relax in, with lots of water bowls around my house. Your dog will have access to the garden whenever they need, weather permitting, and will always be supervised by me. There are no small children at home. In your home, I’d be sure to care for your furbaby lovingly, and follow the instructions you leave for me to the T. If your pet is up for it, I’m very much an active sitter and would love to engage in enrichment with your cat/pup!

About: I grew up with a couple of mixed breed dogs, I've walked my neighbours dogs as a teenager and also more recently. I enjoyed volunteering at a few local animal rescue centres where I walked dogs needing homes and also played with pups. Over the last few years I have helped out a few friends while they were away by looking after their dogs and also cats. The dogs have at least two one hour walks a day and are cleaned after each walk as paws can get very muddy sometimes! I have been helping with feeding cats while their owner is away. I stay a little while at the owners house to play with the cats, make sure all 3 cats have eaten their food and that they have fresh water. I monitor their well being and make sure they have no injury or sickness (checking poo for dogs).

About: Neil and I are passionate animal lovers offering a calm, loving environment for dog boarding. We cared for our Beagle for 12 wonderful years before she sadly passed away due to illness, which gave me valuable experience with dog care, routines, and companionship. We’ve also looked after family dogs including Cockapoos and Labradors, and regularly care for our neighbours’ cats and dogs while they are away on holiday. Since we’re not quite ready for another dog of our own yet, Rover feels like the perfect way to continue sharing our home and care with dogs. I work from home full-time, and Neil predominantly works from home as well, so there will almost always be one or both of us at home with any boarded dogs throughout their stay. We have a large living area with patio doors leading to a secure, fenced grass garden that dogs can enjoy all year round. Because we work from home, we’re able to give dogs plenty of attention, companionship, and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. We can also take dogs out for walks during breaks, lunch, and in the evenings, so it’s very normal for dogs staying with us to enjoy up to three walks a day depending on their needs and routine. We’re also happy to adapt to older dogs or those who prefer a slower pace and quieter routine. Neil and I provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. As one or both of us work from home most days, dogs are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and care throughout their stay. We have a secure fenced grass garden and always follow each owner’s routines and preferences carefully, including feeding, walks, medication, and any special requirements. We’re also happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind while owners are away.
