Helen has been walking my dog Mia for the past two months, and I am very happy with the care Helen provides! Mia is always happy to go on walks with Helen and clearly enjoys spending time with her!  Helen is reliable and caring, and I trust her to take good care of Mia. I also really appreciate the updates with photos after each walk in the Rover cards, which are always lovely to receive. I would happily recommend Helen to anyone looking for a dependable and thoughtful dog walker!

About: Hi! I’m Livia, I have a lifelong passion for animal care and a natural ability to understand what pets need to feel safe and happy. For years, my friends and family have trusted me to look after their beloved pets, manage their daily routines, and take them on engaging walks. I understand that every pet has a unique personality. I specialise in patient, intuitive care and have experience working with sensitive animals. In fact, I successfully helped a friend's anxiously attached dog become significantly more confident, social, and happy after just one week of structured, loving care. Whether your pet needs high-energy exercise, structured routine, or just a calm and patient companion, I am dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment tailored to their exact needs. I have recently finished college and have chosen to focus on my home-based side hustles rather than rushed traditional employment. Because I work entirely from home on my own schedule, I am in the house pretty much all day, every day. I am not attending university, meaning I have a massive amount of free time both now and moving forward. Aside from occasional short outings with friends or family, my schedule is completely open and flexible. This routine allows me to easily structure my entire day around a pet's needs. I can offer constant companionship, frequent toilet breaks, structured feeding times, and long walks exactly when your pet requires them. Your pet will rarely be left alone and will receive dedicated love and attention throughout the day. In my home, I have a good setup with plenty of indoor space for a dog to safely chill, play, eat, and have fun. Out back, I have a good sized, fully fenced garden where dogs can stretch their legs safely. A unique feature of my home is our secure summer house in the garden. It is the perfect spot for dogs who want to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere while remaining safe and enclosed inside. Because the summer house has lockable doors, it can also function as a spacious, comfortable "luxury crate" setup. If a dog gets overwhelmed, needs a quiet space to decompress, or simply wants some alone time, this separate space works perfectly to help them relax. I always adapt my approach to what the pet needs—giving them constant attention or allowing them peaceful boundaries whenever they need it.

About: I grew up with a couple of mixed breed dogs, I've walked my neighbours dogs as a teenager and also more recently. I enjoyed volunteering at a few local animal rescue centres where I walked dogs needing homes and also played with pups. Over the last few years I have helped out a few friends while they were away by looking after their dogs and also cats. The dogs have at least two one hour walks a day and are cleaned after each walk as paws can get very muddy sometimes! I have been helping with feeding cats while their owner is away. I stay a little while at the owners house to play with the cats, make sure all 3 cats have eaten their food and that they have fresh water. I monitor their well being and make sure they have no injury or sickness (checking poo for dogs).

About: I've had dogs my whole life, starting when I was just 6 years old. I'm a proud owner of three dogs: Jimmy, an 11 year old Labrador; Blue, a 9 year old German Shepherd; and Scotch, a 9 year old Cocker Spaniel. Having owned large and small breeds across very different temperaments, I understand how to handle dogs of all kinds -energetic, calm, anxious, or senior. My dogs currently live with my family, and while I miss them dearly, it's exactly why I love spending time with other people's dogs. You can trust me to treat your pet like my own. I'm currently fully available, which means I can be flexible around your schedule rather than the other way around. I'm happy to walk dogs any day of the week, mornings, afternoons, or evenings, just let me know what works best for you and your pet. Your dog's safety is my top priority on every walk. I keep dogs on lead unless in a designated off-lead area, always carry water and waste bags, and never walk more than a small group at once to ensure each dog gets proper attention. Having owned and cared for three dogs of my own: a Labrador, a German Shepherd, and a Cocker Spaniel. I'm confident and calm with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

About: I always look after my sisters cat when her and her fiancé go away. I also have cat sat for other family members when needed but never been paid for it. I have looked after friends dogs and taken them for walks when they have been unable too. I work full time and study. But I have flexibility to move things and also am trying to prioritise my fitness in terms of getting out more. My cat has a cat flap which we can lock if needed. She has got loads of scratch posts to use. I always lock my sisters cat in at night as he gets into fights and can be loud outside as per her instruction and switch up his food as he gets fussy quickly.

About: Hi! My names is Ella and I am an 18 year old Year 13 sixth form student. I’m a reliable and confident dog lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds and temperaments. I have a 6-year-old Rottweiler at home, so I’m very comfortable handling large, strong dogs and understand the importance of consistent training, structure, and exercise. Daily walks and proper care are already part of my routine. I also help out with my step mum’s dog walking and boarding company in Hemel, where I’ve walked and cared for lots of different dogs. This has given me experience with various breeds, sizes, energy levels, and personalities — from excitable puppies to calmer older dogs. I’m confident reading dog behaviour and making sure every walk is safe and enjoyable. I can drive, which means I’m flexible and reliable when it comes to getting to different locations. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and routine are my top priorities, and I’ll treat them as if they were my own. I am currently unemployed, but a full time student, so I am available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and all day throughout the weekend where I am happy to walk or dog sit for your pet. I always respect the owner’s home and follow any specific requests they have. I stick closely to feeding schedules and daily routines to keep everything consistent. My priority is making sure the pet feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for in their own environment while their owner is away.

About: I have loved dogs my whole life. My family got our dog when I was only 3 years old. So, my whole life I cared for him, trained him, walked him and loved him. He was a small dog, but I also have experience walking bigger dogs as I’d help my friends walk their dogs occasionally. However I only take dogs below the knee and under 25Kg. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies, big dogs and small dogs. I can follow any guidance or rules you give me. I always send lots of pictures and can give updates during their stay with me. I am home all day and have lots of free time so I can give your dog my full attention and care. There are lots of parks in my area that I would love to take them to. I live with my parents and older sister who love dogs just as much as me and can help with caring for them when they are home. If you choose to book with me I can promise that your dog will be safe, cared for, and loved. I am a university student, back home for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands and looking to earn some extra money. The front door stays closed and there would be no way for a dog to escape or be in any danger. I live with my parents and older sister who would happily help in taking care of pets.

It’s our first time booking someone to walk our Gala. To be very honest, Helen isn’t good, she’s absolutely brilliant!! Reliable and professional, she’ll notify you if any events, send you pics of your pup every day and look after your pet with love and compassion. She’s really friendly and as a proof of her goodwill character I can tell everyone that the second our Gala met her, she instantly liked her. To me this is the most important opinion about a stranger. Will defo book her again in future if we’re lucky enough to find her available!! Thanks Helen, for everything!!
