About: I am a working professional with a passion for animal care. I can visit your cat(s) anytime from 6am to 9am on a weekday morning and then from 5.30pm until 10pm on a weekday evening. On the days that I am working from home, I can make extra midday visits if wanted. During the weekend I can be more flexible with timings to meet the needs of your pet! I provide caring and reliable pop-in visits, allowing your cat to remain comfortable in the familiarity of their own home whilst you're away. I know the importance of building trust with each cat and will adapt to their individual pace. Any pet needs I will cater for and do let me know if I can help with anything else upon my visits, such as putting out the bins, watering plants and collecting post!
“Becca took Finley out for his first professional dog walk and I couldn’t have trusted her more! He’s quite an anxious dog, but he seemed super comfortable with her and I am just so happy to have found her as a long term dog walker 🫶🏼”

“Zhanè is amazing with my dog Hugo, he absolutely loves her. Brilliant communication, always on time and has a warm loving presence. Would highly recommend as I know they'll be in safe hands.”

“Sacha and Cristina are an absolutely lovely couple, they came round in the morning to have a meet and greet with our 1 year old staffy Gizmo, and he loved them straight away. You could tell they were at ease with him and him with them, and that they clearly love dogs. Later they picked him up and had a great walk with him, sending us lots of pics along the way and updating us, then dropped him off at ours afterwards and gave him his food. We could not have asked for more and will definitely be asking them to look after our little grey ball of joy again. We could not recommend them more 😊👍🏼”

About: I grew up in a house with 2 dogs so they've always been second-nature to me. During university, I house/pet-sat for multiple families, for both dogs of varying sizes and cats. I have had my 8-year-old pug since she was a puppy so I am very comfortable with both puppies and flat-faced breeds specifically. My dog has unfortunately struggled with varying health problems since she was young, so I am also very experienced with administering different forms of medication and caring for pets with any health concerns. I have recently moved from the US to the UK to join my husband and am currently working part-time. I’m generally available Thursday through Sunday. I am able to abide by any rules you have for caring for your pet in your home. I can take them for walks (on- or off-leash) or just let them into the garden, depending on your preference. I have a lot of experience feeding animals who take multiple medications/supplements, so no instructions are too difficult.
About: I have been pet sitting for over 6 years now for family and friends and also professionally and through organizations such as TrustedHouseSitters. My experience includes overnight stays from 1 night to 3 months around the UK as well as drop in visits and dog walks. I've taken care of a variety of different pets from puppies/dogs, kittens/cats, hamsters, rats, chinchillas, guinea pigs, fish, toirtoise & rabbits. I also have experience looking after rescues with more complex needs & sensitivities, animals with health issues who need routine medication. I’m confident in giving medication and also taking pets to the vets if needed (I have a car) having done this for my own pets in the past (I've grown up with dogs, rabbits and hamsters!). I work from home/study part-time as a Therapeutic Coach so have a flexible schedule that allows me to go out and take care of pets whether that be dog walking in between working or taking care of pets at your home I will leave your home exactly as I find it, ensuring I tidy and clean up after myself and your pet(s). I will adjust how I take care of your pet depending on their needs. I can send you daily updates & photos so you know your pets are safe and happy.

“John walked our lively recue dog for several days whilst we were away. He was incredibly punctual and happy to come early in the morning to avoid the heat of the day. Our dog is reactive to other dogs and I was quite nervous - but no need. John understood her nervousness and ensured walks were safe and uneventful for her. Thank you!”

“We did a meet and greet with Anna to meet our dog, and he LOVED her. She’s very intuitive and has a lot of knowledge. She asked all the right questions about our boy, and we can’t wait to start repeat walks. Thanks so much Anna!”

About: Hi! I'm Rachel, and I’m a dog walker and dog/cat sitter in central Berkhamsted. I’m very responsible, thoughtful, playful and loving with all animals and I've been called Miss Doolittle (the Dr Doolittle reference not as it sounds!). I've owned a very playful labradoodle and active bengal cats for many years, dogwalked and cared for two very active terriers, a collie, two large labrador and golden retrievers, a chihuahua, a nervous rescue cross breed and dogwalked a wide variety of breeds for a dog rescue centre for several years. I'm experienced with young to elderly, anxious, deaf dogs and cats, and administering medication if needed. If you’re looking for an occasional or regular dog walker, animal sitter or holiday sitter I’m looking for clients around Berkhamsted and the nearby areas right now while studying to make a big career change from office work. I offer solo care or take out small groups for walks along the canal, to the nearby parks and Ashridge, also offer more active dogwalking, balltime and playtime. I know the area very well around here after living here for over 10 years and being very 'outdoorsy'! :) All breeds and ages welcome ❤❤❤ Your pets will be well looked after! I hope to meet you and your much loved pet(s) very soon! Best, Rachel I'm studying to be a health coach and make a career change while animal sitting and will balance this across the week. Mondays to Fridays are preferable for me but I can potentially offer Sundays as well. I'm especially interested in longer, holiday sits too. I'll take the lead from you on what's needed for your pet(s) and any special requirements or needs. I'm very responsible and in tune with animal body language and needs so they'll be well looked after, exercise, food, water and bathroom visits wise!

I’m confident around animals of all personalities and love getting to know each pet’s individual needs. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats to be able to care for them in your home I can undergo whatever it is that you need me to do for them. I used to have a diabetic cat so I am used to handling cats.

About: My dream is to have my own dog one day! Until then, I’d love to help take care of yours 🥰 I am a small dog lover providing loving care from our peaceful family home in Gadebridge, Hemel Hempstead. I live with my parents in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, where we have a small grassed garden that is completely secure and perfect for fresh air and playtime. Your pet will enjoy a constant routine of companionship, plenty of potty breaks, and endless affection. I specialise in overnight stays (at mine) specifically for smaller breeds. Our home is a calm, safe sanctuary where smaller pups can feel completely relaxed without being overwhelmed. I only accept one dog at a time. While I keep overnights exclusive to smaller dogs, I am completely comfortable walking, visiting, and hanging out with small-medium sized dogs! We are located right by fantastic walking routes for high-energy exercise or just slow pottering! We treat every guest dog like a member of our own family. I always recommend a Meet & Greet in our home/garden first so you can be reassured the stay will be a perfect fit for your furry best friend and we can ask each other plenty of questions. Please note I do not do overnight stays at owners' houses nor do I look after cats. Because I work from home twice a week alongside my parents, our house is almost never empty for more than half a day. This means your pet will enjoy constant company, reassurance, and supervision throughout the day. Your pet’s safety is my absolute number one priority. Our family home is located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood in Gadebridge. We have a partially-grassed garden that is fully enclosed with high, secure walls and a side gate, ensuring zero chance of escape during outdoor playtime. Inside, the house is kept clean, calm, and entirely 'pet-proofed' so curious paws cannot get into anything they shouldn't. Because we are a multi-person household with people working from home, pets would rarely be left unattended for more than half a day. I track subtle changes in energy, appetite, or bathroom breaks ; I will be open with you if there are any issues In the rare event of an illness or accident, I maintain a clear emergency protocol. I keep your preferred vet's details on hand, know the quickest routes to the local 24/7 emergency animal hospital, and will contact you immediately. Paws are wiped down after walks, and fresh, filtered water is always available in a clean bowl in the utility room. I know how hard it is to leave your beloved pet with someone else. To ensure total transparency and trust, I will provide photo and video updates on a schedule we agree so you will always know your dog is well cared for.

About: With 7 years experience in pet sitting and a huge love for animals, I will look after your little buddies like they are my own. You will receive regular photos and updates of how your pet is getting on, and I am reachable at any time. I look after a variety of animals, and also provide training. Pop me a message, I'd love to see how I can help 😊 I work from home in Boxmoor so am able to have your pets stay in my home with me during the week, or I can come and work from your space if you'd prefer. I take 1-2 hours for a lunch break each day so can also do drop-in visits and walks. I am usually busy on weekends, but you can message me to check availability! I live in a pet-free, child-free and smoke-free home. I have a two bedroom house and a garden. I live in a quiet neighborhood with neighbours who also love pets, and lots of parks around us.
About: I am a pet lover and I am full of energy. I love to walk and play with cats and dogs. I have had a lot of pets in my life and I used to take care of neighbours pets and families pets. I do no not have any pets at home. I did have a cat but no longer. I can do early walks or evening walks and afternoons. Weekends also. I had happy to have a dog in my car and home also I am very flexible. I have a massive shared garden, which dogs can go into with me. I live near lots of open spaces also. Woods and parks around.
About: I am a lifelong animal lover but I especially love dogs. Growing up with three dogs taught me how incredible their love is and how fulfilling it is to have them in one’s life. As a child, I loved and enjoyed learning how to look after my dogs, how to feed them, take them for walks and bathe them. Now I happily bring my years of experience and passion for dogs to my friends’ and colleagues’ pups – I understand how to take care of them and ensure their needs are met. Providing the best possible care for your pup is my priority and I cannot wait to start taking them on some exciting walking adventures. I hope you will choose me as your trustworthy person to look after your furry friend/friends, and I will look forward to hearing from you. I work as a primary school teacher. As I don’t have my own dog yet, and I really miss my previous ones, I would love to share my evening and weekend walks with your pup and make each other feel happy. I am free most evenings after 5:30pm and weekends. During my half term breaks, I will be more than happy to walk your pup every day or dog sit them, if you decide to go on a holiday. Being an active person, I enjoy and appreciate long walks, exploring new trails and parks, and I’d love to share that with your four-legged friend too. While your pup is in my care, I can assure you that they will have lots of fun walking, ball catching and playing, and they will return back home happy and ready to rest.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Dacorum
First walk today with Sacha and Cristina. They give my puppy Anu so much love and attention and I already know from the first meet and this first walk they will take really good care of him. Lovely couple very genuine and easy to talk too. I am looking forward to seeing Anu build a relationship with them.

We were really struggling for a reliable walker before going on holiday this year. I found Steve on Rover and couldn't have been happier, he came around prior to us leaving to meet Monte and us and made us feel at ease. We trusted him with a key and to feed Monte after walks and we came back to a really happy and healthy dog. Couldn't recommend Steve enough and will be definitely using him again in the future when we require more dog walking and care!
