About: I’ve grown up around animals and have two cats of my own, so caring for pets has always been part of my life. I regularly look after and walk my friends’ dogs when they’re away, and I’ve also volunteered at a dog shelter for 2 years. I genuinely love spending time with animals and will care for your pets as if they were my own :) I mainly work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to fit pet care into my week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins and pet sitting on weekdays and weekends, and I’ll make sure your pet gets lots of attention, playtime and care while you’re away. I have two cats at home, so I don’t offer boarding for now, just to avoid any pet disagreements! I’m happy to look after your pets in their own home where they feel safest.

Adam was a great connection between us , him and our dog. Adam came round and met our Tobi (dog) and made a connection straight away. After their bonding I knew I could trust Tobi with Adam. Adam picks Tobi up on time and they spend their time together walking and running around the local area. If youre looking for a trustworthy, reliable walker...look no further than Adam. 5/5

About: I’ve spent my whole life around animals—they aren't just a hobby for me, they’re family. I’m a proud cat-dad to my 5-year-old at home, and honestly, getting out into the fresh air with a dog is the highlight of my day. With 4 years of experience walking for friends and family, I’ve handled everything from energetic Labradors and strong-willed Huskies to spirited Dachshunds. Whether your dog wants a high-energy power walk or a patient 'sniff-heavy' stroll, I tailor every route to them. I provide GPS tracking and real-time photo updates so you can see the fun we're having. I always finish with a thorough paw-clean, ensuring your pup returns happy and your house stays pristine. I treat every dog like my own—with 1-on-1 attention and plenty of care! Working from home allows me to be very flexible with my visit times. I am available for morning check-ins before 10 AM, evening visits after 6 PM, and have full availability on weekends. I can drive if required for house visits and I live by cassiobury park which means if you live locally I can easily drop in at times that suit your dogs/cats specific routine Your pet’s safety and home security are my priorities. For Dogs: Energetic walks in Cassiobury Park with GPS tracking and real-time photo updates. I follow all training commands, use quiet trails, and always include a post-walk paw clean and mess cleanup. For Cats: Reliable drop-in visits. I am meticulous about home security (alarms/locks) and observant of your cat's health and feeding routine.

About: Hi! We’re Sabina and Adriano — animal lovers, part-time ball throwers, full-time belly rub providers… and proud parents to the tiniest (and most supervised) member of our pack: our under-2-year-old daughter. Over the years, we’ve cared for many wonderful dogs — from energetic adventure seekers to champion sofa snugglers and everything in between. We have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and routines. Whether your pup is a social butterfly or a little shy at first, we take the time to understand their needs and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. We’re happy to welcome dogs into our warm, family-friendly home, or visit them in their own familiar environment — whichever suits them best. Our goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. And about our daughter: she’s always carefully supervised. She’s growing up surrounded by animals and is already learning the most important rule of all — “gentle hands.” Here’s what we offer with every canine guest or visit: 🐾 Feeding & Fresh Water – We stick closely to your dog's usual routine, preferences, and dietary needs. 🚶 Walks & Exercise – Whether your dog loves long walks, gentle strolls, or playtime in the garden, we make sure they get the activity they need. 🎾 Playtime & Enrichment – Fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, or simply chasing a favourite ball — we love keeping dogs happy and engaged. 🛋️ Cuddles & Companionship – From energetic play sessions to relaxing sofa snuggles, we provide plenty of attention, affection, and company. 💊 Medication & Special Care – If your dog needs medication or has specific care requirements, we're confident and experienced in following detailed instructions. 📸 Regular Updates – We know how much you miss your furry family member, so we'll keep you updated with photos, videos, and messages during their stay. We treat every dog as if they were our own — with kindness, patience, plenty of love, and the occasional "Who's the goodest dog?" conversation. Whether your pup stays with us or prefers care in their own home, you can relax knowing they'll be safe, happy, well cared for, and treated like part of the family until you're back. We can't wait to meet your four-legged best friend! Our lives have always revolved around furry friends — from teaching our dogs basic obedience and fun little tricks (yes, very dramatic spins and high-fives included), to cozy cuddle sessions and playful feather toys with our cats. Whether it’s daily walks rain or shine with our pups, or quiet sunbeam chasing with our kitties, being active and outdoors (or indoors!) with our four-legged pals is just part of who we are. Now, with our daughter in the mix, the family has grown! She’s on the move, happily crawling her way through life, and always closely supervised around our pets and guests. From day one, she’s been gently introduced to animals, and we’ve made it a priority to ensure every pet feels safe and comfortable around her. She’s naturally calm and gentle, and we’re guiding her to treat all creatures with kindness. “Gentle hands” is our family motto — right alongside “who’s a good dog?” and “who’s a fancy feline?”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, growing up with breeds like Chow Chow, Golden Retriever, Samoyed, and Alaskan Malamute, and I currently care for my own Czech Wolfdog. This lifelong experience has given me a deep understanding of dogs’ unique needs and personalities. Additionally, I’ve worked closely with professional dog trainers, which has taught me how to read a dog’s behavior and proactively manage situations during walks to avoid potential triggers. Whether it’s providing companionship, ensuring safety, or catering to the specific needs of different breeds, I’m confident in offering top-notch care for your furry friends. I have extensive experience caring for medium and large-breed dogs, having raised several over the years, and I am currently living with a Czech Wolfdog and a maine coon. I work full-time from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, structure, and companionship throughout the day. We live in an excellent area with access to large parks and beautiful nature spots. I regularly take dogs out for long walks, hikes, and play sessions, whether by car or on foot. When we’re not exploring nearby parks, my spacious, fully fenced back garden offers a safe and enjoyable space for dogs to roam, relax, and play freely. Dog care is part of my everyday life — I truly enjoy spending time with them, helping them stay active, engaged, and happy. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether it’s in my home or a pet owner’s home. I create a calm and comfortable environment for the pets, ensuring they feel secure and happy at all times. I’m highly attentive to their needs, from maintaining regular feeding and walking schedules to keeping their surroundings clean and safe. During walks, I’m vigilant about their interactions with other animals and the environment, avoiding potential triggers and ensuring their safety on busy streets or parks. I also communicate openly with pet owners, providing updates and following any specific care instructions they have. My goal is to build trust with both the pets and their owners, ensuring everyone feels confident and at ease.

About: *DUE TO CURRENT HOT WEATHER, I can offer very early or very late walks to avoid the sunshine! 🐶🐾 Hello :-) I'm Amy, and I have always been a huge lover of pets. Unfortunately, due to my mum being allergic to dog hair, we were unable to keep dogs growing up. The silver lining was that she wasn't allergic to cats, so I grew up surrounded by cats, chickens and ducks! In my adult years, I gained extensive experience fostering, including for Mayhew in North West London. I fostered multiple cats and kittens during that time, including poorly cats who required daily medication - all of whom you can see in my profile photos alongside my wonderful clients! I also have experience boarding pets within my own home. Due to my current work travel schedule, I feel unable to have a full-time pet of my own right now. Instead, I get my animal fix by giving lovely dogs walks around the local parks, doing overnight housesitting for all animals, and boarding animals when I am available. My home has many nearby parks so all doggy walks will be different adventures each time! When I am not traveling, I work in Central London and am incredibly flexible with my times and travel. I finish work around 16:00/16:30 Mon-Fri, but I can work from home regularly (including full weeks if needed) if you need a daytime sitter or walker. I also own my own car, so traveling to your neighborhood is incredibly easy. Whether your furry family member is a dog who needs an energetic walk or a pet that just needs some friendly company and overnight sitting, I treat every animal with the absolute highest level of attention, safety, and affection - just as I would my own. I will also follow your cues and guidance, especially on dog walks, to ensure all training is maintained and enforced. I also offer to meet up beforehand (free of charge) so we can chat through your pet's exact routine and ensure it's a perfect match! Also experienced in: 🐾Caring for other pets such as fish, snakes, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds and rodents (not all in the same cage at once...). 🎾 Playtime & Enrichment – Fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys etc. 💊 Medication & Special Care – If your pet/s needs medication or has specific care requirements, I am confident and experienced in following detailed instructions. 🐾Teaching cats a couple of tricks... I found this excellent for bonding when fostering, and was successful in getting the majority of my foster cats to at least sit on command! ✨ Extra peace of mind for overnight sits & pop-ins: To make sure your home runs smoothly while you're away, I also offer: - Bringing in the post - Watering your plants - Opening/closing curtains so the house looks occupied - Any other small household tasks you might need! 🛋️ Not only will I treat your pet/s as my own, I will also treat your home as I do my own too. 📸 Regular Updates – We know how much you miss your furry family member, so we'll keep you updated with photos, videos, and messages during their stay. I look forward to hearing from you, and already can't wait for the animal cuddles!! Amy :-) My work is desk-based, and I can be very flexible in when I go into the office. I like to get out a couple of times a day for a walk (and to get away from my desk!) so this would fit in very well for dog walking especially. I also can work from your home (I just need WiFi, and a monitor is perferred but not essential!) to give your pet the true attention and company they deserve. I care for pets and people's home as I do my own. I treat it with repect, and ensure you come home to a clean home and a happy pet/s!

About: I have over 7 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m very attentive to each dog’s needs, routine, and comfort, whether it’s energetic walks, playtime, or calm companionship. I live with my dog Moon, a very friendly and social Pomsky, so I’m especially comfortable hosting dogs who enjoy company and interaction. I understand dog behavior well, including dogs who are sensitive or don’t enjoy being alone, and I always adapt my care to help them feel safe and relaxed. Dogs in my care are treated like family: they get genuine attention, regular walks, and a welcoming environment where they truly feel at home. I’ve recently moved to the area and currently have a lot of free time, which I’m happy to dedicate to caring for dogs whose owners may have busy schedules. I’m home most of the day and very flexible, whether for walks, daytime care, or overnight stays. I live with my dog Moon, who loves being surrounded by others, both at home and on walks. Your dog will always have company, attention, and plenty of outdoor time in a calm and caring environment. My care truly adapts to the service and to each dog’s needs. I am very flexible and always follow the owner’s preferences and routines. For walks, I adjust the pace, duration, and environment to the dog. If a dog has good recall and the owner agrees, I’m happy to offer safe off-leash walks so they can fully enjoy their time, often alongside my dog Moon, who is very social. For drop-in visits or care in the owner’s home, I strictly follow instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific habits. My priority is to keep the dog relaxed by maintaining their usual routine. For boarding or daycare in my home, dogs receive the same level of care and affection as my own dog: regular walks, playtime, calm moments, and constant attention. Dogs are never treated as “guests” but as part of the household. Overall, my approach is based on trust, flexibility, and genuine care, so both dogs and owners feel completely at ease.

About: Hi, I'm Susie 😊 Animals have been my one true passion ever since I can remember! My animal care journey started with guinea pigs and rabbits when I volunteered at a children's farm from 2016-2018. I adopted my own pair of guinea pigs from here and now have 4 girls of my own 🩷 I then volunteered with the National Animal Welfare trust, gaining experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperments. I worked with many animals with behavioural difficulties, health conditions and disabilities, which involved administering medication. I also learnt how to effectively train dogs and puppies through positive reinforcement during my time at NAWT. Unfortunately, volunteering was not allowed to continue during the pandemic, so I moved to providing private pet sitting, dog training and dog walking when it was allowed. My first client was an energetic field spaniel called Issy who you can see a picture of on my profile along with many of the other pets I've taken care of 🥰 At uni in Nottingham, I was ran the dog society and connected with many owners through organising group dog walks. I learnt so much about the different connections between pups and their owners and found this experience invaluable. I'm looking forward to loving more cats and dogs like family and am confident that I can guarantee the highest quality care 🐾 I am currently available to look after both cats and dogs in your own home and provide enriching local dog walks at all times. Please note that I don't drive but as long as you're accessible by bus and/or walk, I'm more than happy to make the journey 😊 I can look after your pets in your own home exactly as they are used to, for their maximum comfort. I am confident walking all breeds and following specific instructions tailored to your pets' individual needs.

About: I’ve always loved animals and grew up with cats while being around dogs a lot too. I’m a patient, calm, and caring person, and I genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’ve been doing dog boarding, dog sitting, and cat sitting for over 4 years, and have also regularly looked after my sister’s and dad’s dogs, so I’m very confident stepping in and keeping their routine consistent. I’m not able to have a pet of my own right now, which is why I love pet sitting, it’s something I truly enjoy. I’m also happy to help with small extras like watering plants or bringing in the mail! ☺️ I run my own business from home, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency throughout the day. On weekdays, I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or day care, and I can easily structure my work around a pet’s routine. On weekends, I’m even more flexible and can adapt entirely to the owner’s needs, whether that’s longer stays, full day care, or multiple visits. I also offer the option to work from the owner’s home, which is ideal for pets who prefer company throughout the day. I provide attentive, calm, and structured care that fits each pet’s personality and routine. I love being active, so dogs will enjoy regular walks (usually 30–45 minutes), along with playtime and mental stimulation throughout the day. On weekdays, I can offer up to three walks per day, and even more flexibility on weekends. At home or during visits, I make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and well looked after. I keep environments clean and secure, and I stay in close communication with owners for updates and peace of mind. If anything unexpected happens, I’m happy to act quickly, including taking a pet to the vet if needed.

About: Hi, I’m Rita. My experience with animals began growing up on a farm, where caring for animals was part of everyday life. Since then, animals have always been a big part of my world. I’ve had both dogs and cats of my own, volunteered for several years with the Animal Welfare Trust in Watford, and cared for different dogs through BorrowMyDoggy. These experiences have helped me understand how unique every pet is. I’m calm, patient, and reliable, and I take time to get to know each pet so they feel safe and comfortable in my care. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I provide attentive care tailored to your pet’s routine and personality. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own, and I look forward to meeting you both. I am flexible and able to provide pet care throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I am also happy to care for both cats and dogs and can adapt to different routines depending on each pet’s individual needs. I am available for dog walking and drop-in visits during the day, and I am also open to discussing house sitting arrangements depending on each pet’s requirements and routine. I always aim to be reliable, responsive, and clear when arranging bookings. I understand how important it is to trust someone caring for your pet and entering your home. Your pet’s safety, wellbeing and routine are always my top priority. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding, routines, and any specific care requirements. I have been DBS checked, and I aim to provide a calm, reliable and respectful service at all times. During visits, I will provide updates and photos so you can feel reassured that your pet is happy and well cared for. For safety, dogs are always walked on a lead unless the owner has specifically requested otherwise and provided clear recall instructions.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-to-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Watford. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighbourhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poo and pee breaks, and distance travelled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Watford.
