About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me since I was a kid, and for years that meant two big dogs and three cats of my own. When I lost them, I missed having that presence and routine in the house, so I started sitting for friends and family. Now I’ve decided to open that up to more people. My wife works from home full time, and I’m remote when needed too, so your pet is genuinely never home alone. There’s always someone around for walks, feeding, and just company. Whatever you need, a quick drop in, a walk, or a full stay at ours, we’ll treat your pet like one of the family. I work remotely as a photographer, so most days I’m editing from home, with studio time in the office around twice a week. My wife works from home full time too, and on the days I do need to be out, she’s here. Between the two of us, there’s always someone home with your pet, whether that’s for company during the day or keeping an eye on things overnight. We live in a three bedroom terrace house with a fully fenced garden and no side access, so it’s secure and self contained. We’ve got security cameras around the property, and we’re on a semi quiet road, so it’s calm without being isolated. It’s a comfortable, settled space for pets to relax in.

“It’s always difficult deciding on a sitter to look after our precious pets. Katarzyna and her adult daughter Sylwia looked after Lily for 8 days in May 2025. We met both at their home before making our booking and knew immediately that they were our perfect match. They live in a beautiful safe home with a fully enclosed garden and sent us regular updates and photos of how Lily had settled in immediately. I think they both truly fell in love with Lily as Lily did with them and I am quite sure they will miss her as much as she will them. Her house is lovely and warm and her daughter formed a bond with my dog was was genuine and beautiful. Tanja sent us photos regularly which we loved and demonstrated her commitment to looking after our dog and our family. I am delighted that we have found Tanja and would recommend her to anyone who loves their dog and wants to know that they are being looked after well.
We couldn’t recommend Siobhan and Freddie enough! They are true animal lovers who will look after your pet like their own and will do whatever it takes to make them feel happy and comfortable. They took care of our 14 year old Yorkie (also named Fred!) for 2 weeks while we were on holiday. We were extremely nervous about leaving him as he had never had to stay with people he didn’t know and is a senior dog with many needs. However, we had absolutely nothing to worry about, Siobhan treated him with kindness and care and truly looked after him as if he were her own. We received updates every day which was lovely to see how much of a good time he was having, especially with their lovely dog Kinnie, and how he settled in so quickly! Our minds were fully put at ease and we were able to enjoy our holiday knowing that he was very happy and comfortable. We can’t thank them both enough and will definitely be booking again for any future trips!
This is the first time that we have left our Staffy, Flynn with a Boarder since he came to live with us so it was with some trepidation that we joined Rover and started looking for someone to take care of him while we went away on holiday. We need not have been concerned. After looking at a few options, we decided to contact Sabina. After some messages back and forth, we met and were sure that this was the right match for us. Sabina and her family are obviously very dog friendly and extremely professional with their approach to boarding provision. We were provided with regular updates during Flynn's stay, including photos and video clips which was very reassuring. Nina is an exceptionally good pet sitter! She looked after our boston terrier Buddy for over 2 weeks while we were away on holiday. Kirstin was amazing with Loki, I could tell he loved his time there. She kept me updated throughout his stay with messages and photos, which was really nice to see! Her home is very pet-friendly and Loki seemed so comfortable and happy there. She was really easy to communicate and book with, responds quickly, and was accommodating when I needed to change the pick up time. I could tell Loki was genuinely well cared for and given lots of love and attention. I would happily leave Loki in Kirstin’s care again and would 100% recommend her!!

Zahra took excellent care of Freddie! He was a very happy pup on returning home from his stay. Zahra has a lovely warmth and attentiveness - she clearly cares a lot about each of the dogs she is looking after and wants to provide the upmost comfort and stability for them when they are in her care. We had a bit of an emergency and had to travel for two days with only 24 hour advance warning. It is hard to find anyone at such a short notice, but Eric came through and hosted Misha for two days. He did a very good job and we had regular updates. Highly recommend.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018.
