Availability
Outside of Rover, I have an office job Monday - Friday. This means that my availability is typically (but not always) limited to weekends. I often work from home on a Monday and Friday. I try to keep my calendar on Rover up to date for ease of booking :) so it is best to check there first if I have availability but please don’t hesitate to contact me if my calendar shows that I am not free as my mum is sometimes able to support me with the dog sitting.

Safety, trust & environment
I am living with my parents and therefore I need to be respectful of their home and ensure that any dogs staying here are well house trained. The house has a secure garden which is 1/3 acre and great fun for dogs to run around in. I only like to look after 1 dog at a time or dogs from the same household. I like to care for pets as if they were my own and in a nice homely environment!

Information Danielle R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any health issues, dietary restrictions or is reactive at all towards other dogs or people ahead of time.
A typical day
I will be led by owners on what your dog likes doing. I am happy to take your dog for a long walk or let me know if they have already been for their walk and they can just play in the garden. If your dog has a favourite toy, please be sure to bring it with them :) This is a hobby for me so I do enjoy going for dog walks and I love to take photos of our walks too!

Pet care experience
My dog sitting journey began in 2021 after signing up to borrow my doggy when I was still really missing my family dog that passed away in 2018 and not being able to fully commit to getting another dog due to work and lifestyle commitments. I had 2 regular yorkies that I looked after for a couple of years through borrow when their owner was away for weekends or on holiday making me a bit of a Yorkshire Terrier specialist as my family dog was also a Yorkie. Some time after the dogs relocated I signed up to Rover where I have looked after lots of different breeds including Cocker spaniels, and various cocker and poodle mixes. This has taught me a lot about these breeds and their quirks.
Reviews

I recently left Maya, our little Jack Russell, in Danielle’s care for a full week while we were away, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Maya is usually quite a nervous dog, but she absolutely thrived with Danielle: happy, relaxed, and clearly having a wonderful time. Danielle kept us updated twice a day with messages, videos and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. She was incredibly attentive, making sure Maya had the right amount of affection, stimulation, and rest. During the heatwave, she was especially thoughtful, taking Maya out only during the coolest hours and ensuring she stayed comfortable and safe. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely understands and adapts to a dog’s personality and needs, but Danielle does exactly that. We came home to a very content, well‑looked‑after Maya. Highly recommended.

Danielle was amazing with Ronnie, she kept us updated with lots of pictures and he even came back with a new toy! Would definitely recommend & would book with her again.

We couldn’t be happier with how Danielle looked after Teddy. He had regular walks, lots of garden playtime, and was cared for so lovingly throughout. It really felt like she treated him as one of her own, which meant so much to us. Danielle also kept us regularly updated with photos and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Teddy was happy, relaxed and clearly in great hands. Thank you so much and see you again soon!
Danielle was fabulous, a new experience for Milo, she sent me lovely photos of him enjoying himself, went to her with such ease. Im so glad to have chosen Danielle to look after my very precious little pooch. Even in an emergency she managed to fit him into her schedule, which I was so thankful for. I definitely will be asking Danielle again. xx
