Tabitha also had wonderful company, attention, and playtime, and it was clear she'd been treated like a family member. About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s needs, whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or giving extra care to senior pets and puppies. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident and relaxed while away, so I always treat every pet like part of the family. I am currently working office hours at home from Monday to Friday. I wake up 7 am every mornings I usually drop off the kids at school 8:40 & collecting them at 15:20 Mondays to Fridays. Weekends I don’t work. Staying at home. I live nearby parks and green spaces. I life at ground floor house. I have a fenced garden. I have twins 7 years old, who loves pets and are really happy to spending time with them.

Julian was wonderful with Gunner. I had lots of photos and you could see he was having a great time. We even bumped into Julian while walking a few days after I collected him and Gunner didn’t want to leave him- very embarrassing 😂. This was Frankie’s first time with a sitter, so I was naturally quite nervous. I left my Cocker Spaniel, Molly, with Evelyn for the first time, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Evelyn and her family, her husband and their two children, were all so sweet and caring with Molly, and it was clear that she was treated like part of the family. Communication was excellent throughout her stay. Evelyn sent me photos and videos every day, took Molly on regular walks, made sure she got plenty of exercise, and carefully followed all the instructions/suggestions I provided, from her feeding routine, medication, and even games Molly loves to play. Evelyn was also very accommodating and made the whole experience completely stress-free. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care she gave Molly, and I would absolutely book with her again in the future. Highly recommended!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
