“Thank you Rover for introducing me to Adriana! She's so warm and inviting. Ivy had a fantastic stay with her and I was comforted knowing she was in good hands. Hope to see you again! Thank you so much for being so welcoming.”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for over 15 years. Our family has always had pets, including a 15-year-old Fox Terrier, a French Bulldog, a cat and a parrot. I now live in London with my Chihuahua, Rocky, who is calm, friendly and loves other dogs. For the past year, I have been actively providing pet sitting services in London. Before moving to the UK, I spent over two years attending weekly dog training classes with my French Bulldog in Estonia. Those classes gave me valuable hands-on experience and a strong understanding of dog behaviour, body language and positive training methods. I know that every dog has a different personality and routine, so I always adapt my care to their individual needs. My priority is to make every dog feel safe, relaxed and at home while giving owners peace of mind through regular updates and photos. I work as a freelance marketing specialist, which allows me to work remotely from home. This means I spend most of my time at home and can provide dogs with plenty of attention, companionship, regular walks and a consistent routine throughout the day. Their comfort, safety and happiness are always my priority. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, smoke-free flat with my friendly Chihuahua, Rocky. I only accept pets from one household at a time to provide a calm and low-stress environment. Every dog is introduced carefully, has constant access to fresh water, regular walks, plenty of attention and a comfortable place to rest. I always follow each owner’s feeding routine and any special instructions, and I keep owners updated with photos and messages throughout their dog’s stay.
“Claudette took such great care of Harley! She kept me updated with photos and videos, and I could tell Harley was well looked after and got plenty of love and attention. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Thank you Laura and Alex for looking after Nipsey. He had a great time in your home and we loved all the photos and updates that you sent us while we were on holiday. This was the first time that we have left him with a dog sitter and we will have no hesitation in recommending you to others. We will definitely be using your services again. All the best, Leena, Darren & Nipsey (woof, woof)”

“We had our first stay with Greg and Virginia for our goldendoodle Luna for 1 week in April and she loved every minute. Regular updates which was so reassuring. We could tell luna was having a ball based on the videos and feedback and could see she was well exercised and looked after Would highly recommend 👌🏻 Thank you”

About: We are a loving family home offering a safe, caring and calm environment for your pets while you’re away. As a family, animals have always been a huge part of our lives. Our 11-year-old son absolutely adores both cats and dogs and has grown up around them with kindness, gentleness and respect. For 13 wonderful years, we were devoted owners to our beloved German Shepherd, who we raised from just 8 weeks old. She was truly part of our family through every stage of life, and saying goodbye to her in April 2025 was heartbreaking. That experience taught us not only the joy pets bring, but also the patience, commitment and unconditional love they deserve throughout their entire lives. Although we are not quite ready to welcome another pet of our own yet, our home feels empty without furry companionship. That’s why we would love to help other families by caring for their pets as if they were our own. We understand how difficult it can be to leave your pet when going away, and how important it is to know they are safe, loved, exercised, cuddled and genuinely cared for. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or simply wants a quiet sofa cuddle and reassurance, we will make sure they feel secure, happy and part of the family during their stay. Your pet won’t just be “looked after” here — they’ll be loved. Every dog is different, and we believe the best care starts with listening to you. We understand that younger dogs may need lots of exercise, play and stimulation, while older dogs often prefer gentler walks, routine and plenty of comfort and companionship. We will always follow your dog’s usual schedule and needs as closely as possible so they feel happy, settled and secure while you’re away. Whether your dog loves long walks in the park, energetic playtime, games and attention, or simply relaxing with company and cuddles, we are happy to adapt to what suits them best. For extended stays, and if you are comfortable with it, my office in Angel is dog friendly, meaning your dog could spend even more time with us during the day rather than being left at home. We can either drive into Angel or, if your dog enjoys it, commute together on public transport (our preferred option). Both near our home and around my office there are plenty of green spaces for walks, play, stimulation and quiet time to rest. Our aim is to make your dog feel completely at home, cared for and loved as part of the family. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be our top priority. We live in a spacious four-bedroom semi-detached family home with a fully fenced and secure garden, giving dogs a safe outdoor space to explore, play and relax. Inside, our downstairs living area is completely open plan, meaning your dog will never feel shut away or isolated and can always be close to family life and companionship. We understand how important routine, reassurance and a calm environment are when dogs are away from home, so we aim to create a relaxed, home-from-home atmosphere where they can quickly feel safe and settled. Equally, if your dog prefers their own quiet space to rest and recharge, there is plenty of room throughout the house for them to do so comfortably. Having cared for our own German Shepherd for 13 years, we fully understand the responsibility and trust involved in looking after someone’s beloved pet. We know dogs are family, and we will care for yours with the same patience, affection and attention we would expect for our own. We are very happy to provide regular updates, including photos and WhatsApp videos, so you can see how your dog is getting on and feel reassured while you are away. We can also arrange video calls if you’d like to check in directly. When we go away on family holidays ourselves, we really value receiving regular updates, so we understand just how important that peace of mind is. We are attentive to each dog’s individual needs, personalities and boundaries, and we will always keep communication open so you feel fully connected to your pet’s stay with us.
“Grace is an absolutely fantastic dog boarder, and we couldn't recommend her more highly. She took wonderful care of Henry, keeping us updated throughout his stay with regular photos and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious from every update that he was happy, relaxed and genuinely cared for. Our family dog, Teddy, has also stayed with Grace and had exactly the same experience. She treats every dog as if they're her own. Grace is warm, caring, reliable and incredibly communicative. Knowing Henry and Teddy were in such capable hands meant we could completely relax while we were away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their dog and will definitely use her again.”

“Obi loved his stay with Pratik, Shreshtha and their dog Coco. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a home away from home for their dog. The communication was excellent from the start. They provided regular updates with pictures and videos of how Obi was doing and he seemed to have an amazing few days with them and their lovely dog Coco.”

“My two girls have just returned from 12 days with Kate. This was their first time boarding and they have come back safe, happy and as though nothing has happened. Riley is one to hold grudges, so we would know if her holiday wasn't to her liking! We have experienced many dog sitting services and Kate is of the best kind: relaxed, fun but aware of potential dangers. We felt that she knows dogs well and doesn't expect them to behave like people. We would be happy to use her services again and to recommend her to others.”

“Hi Zsanett looked after my french bulldog for 2 nights 3 days during the heatwave I left her a copy of what his daily routine was during this time which she fully took on board. She was very accommodating with drop off and pick up times My french bulldog came back happy well looked after and reasonably tired Thank you Zsanett”

“I’m so pleased to leave Mocha with her for about 6 months, she was so caring, helpful, kind and loving 🥰 and glad to the journey was so smooth until we could bring him to Dubai, thank you darling”

“Ash Really enjoyed his first time staying with Beccy. You can see by all the photo/video updates how much fun Ash was having and clearly how much Beccy cares and looks after dogs. Would highly recommend. Thanks again”
“Tim took care of our Vizsla during the February half-term 2025, and we were incredibly pleased with the care he provided. He kept us updated with regular feedback and sent pictures of our dog, which gave us great peace of mind. Tim took excellent care of our Vizsla, ensuring he went on regular walks around his home and received plenty of attention. Thank you, Tim, for being so reliable and thoughtful with our dog!”

About: I have been passionate about animals all my life and dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I have boarded dogs whilst their owners are on holiday and have been walking dogs professionally for over 15 years. I have a small dog of my own who is also a Pet Therapy Dog. I would be thrilled to board or walk small to medium sized dogs who have been neutered or spayed. My flat is on the ground floor with direct access to a huge communal garden which is fully secure. I have boarded dogs as large as Pharoah Hounds and Huskies to West Highland Terriers, Cocker Spaniels, Yorkshire Terriers and Whippets. I am also experienced in boarding puppies. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss my experience further. I only board a maximum of two dogs at a time as I like to give my full attention to the dogs in my care. I’m currently working part-time from home so have lots of time for walks with your dog and play time in my secure communal garden. If I do go out, I will only be out for a maximum of 2 hours and your dog would have my small dog as company. I have a ground floor flat with direct access to a fully secure, large, fenced communal garden. I have room in my flat for two small dogs or one medium sized dog and my flat is dog proof and entirely safe for dogs to feel confortable and at my home.
“Marina is amazing and Darcy always has the best time! Marina sends us photos and videos regularly so we are always aware of what Darcy has been up to. While Darcy is glad to come home, she definitely has loads of fun at Marina’s so I’m sure she is a little sad to be leaving Marina’s.”

“Courtney was fantastic with my puppy, she listened to my instructions carefully and followed through with it all diligently, and provided my puppy with lots of love and attention, took her out for a walk, let her play in the garden, but also allowed her space and time to sleep cos she's only little. I got photos and mini updates throughout the day which was a really lovely touch and very reassuring. Exactly what I hoped for. Courtney provided a safe, happy and loving home, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I would be delighted to bring my puppy back again soon and would not hesitate to recommend her.”

“Katie is a kind and loving soul, who looked after Bailey with much care, informing me of his weekend stay around 3-4 times a day sending the nicest photos and detailed notes. I loved the fact she sent a questionnaire ahead of his to ensure she had as much information on Bailey as possible. It shows her responsible nature and cares for dogs as if they were her own. It was my first time using Katie and I would recommend her to any doggy parent. Thank you Katie!”

Dog owners share their Rover experiences – Barnet
This is the second time we left our dog with Wen and we couldn't be happier. Our dog is anxious and he doesn't trust people easily but he seems to be so happy and relaxed around her! Wen managed to win him over very quickly and he loves her. She has been very communicative, sending us detailed updates and pictures the whole time we've been away. She is very caring and patient and clearly a true dog lover! She's shown extreme understanding even when our dog was being difficult and we are very grateful. We're so lucky to have found such a reliable local dog sitter and we highly recommend Wen!

Marina looked after our dog Hugo for a week while we were away, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. Communication throughout the week was excellent, kept us updated regularly with messages and photos which gave us real peace of mind while we were on holiday. It was lovely to see Hugo having such a great time playing and socialising with the other dogs. When we collected him, he looked happy, relaxed and very well cared for It was clear that he had been in safe ana loving hands We would highly recommend Marina to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter, and we will definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you so much.

Benjamin and Arabella took such excellent care of my dog. He came back happy and well rested. I appreciated the fact that Benjamin and Arabella sent updates and photos and took him for long walks and bathed him afterwards. I know he was in such good hands as they cared for him like he was part of their family. Thank you so much Benjamin and Arabella!

Evelyn was so good with Buddy, and her family so welcoming. She was patient, kind and considerate - making sure she knew all the little details to make Buddy’s stay as positive as possible. Communication was great, and honest, throughout. We were able to relax on a 10-day holiday knowing that Buddy was in great hands. Thank you.

We left our labrador with Kate for two weeks and were understandably a bit anxious about being apart for so long. She's quite an anxious dog and doesn't always adapt quickly to new situations, so we knew it might take her a while to settle into a new routine. Kate sent regular photos and updates, and it was lovely to see her gradually relax, gain confidence, and start enjoying the company of the other dogs. Of course, she can't tell us how it went, but she seemed happy, relaxed, and completely herself when we picked her up and in the days after. We'd happily book Kate again and recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.
We couldn’t have been happier with Alexandra. She was so warm and caring with Ollie and really treated him like her own, so we never felt like he was away from home. He looked so happy and relaxed in every update and he even got three walks a day, which is more than he usually gets from us! 🙈😂 We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands and would definitely be happy to leave Ollie with her again. Highly recommended!

Beccy was fabulous when she looked after our dog Bear for a weekend at her house. She really listened to our directions, bear is reactive to other dogs - she managed this without hesitation, continuing his training. She took excellent care of him. He loved running and sniffing in her garden. She kept us updated with photos and messages throughout his stay. New best friend for life!

Katie was just amazing. So kind and loving towards Mika. She was able to put Mika at ease with in a few minutes. Throughout Mika's stay with Katie we received regular updates on how Mika was doing which reassured us that she was being well looked after. We couldn't thank Katie enough. Thank you Katie. ⚘️❤️
We are so happy with the care our dog Kira received! This was our second time using them, and once again they took such wonderful care of our Kira . We felt completely comfortable knowing our furry baby was in such caring and loving hands. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be using them again! 🐾❤️

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
