About: Hello fellow animal lovers! My name is Brendan and I live in the centre of Richmond with my wife and our two adorable and very friendly dogs. I've had them for 6 and 7 years respectively and before that also had 3 cats and various other pets when I was younger. I absolutely love being around pets, especially dogs as my wife and I spent a lot of time with our wonderful dogs over the last few years thanks to our flexible working circumstances, meaning that I especially get to be at home with them a lot and am now happy to share that availabilty with other fellow pet parents. Due to my work set up (working from home more than 90% of the time) I have plenty of time to support pet parents in and near Richmond (and beyond) and am available for regular walks, drop-ins and of course boarding. I looking forward to meet you all and your pets! I work full-time, primarily at home (going to the office once every week or two weeks). Very flexible whilst working at home and able to help with multiple walks, drops and more. We live in a safe gated community with ground floor access and will assess each pets individual needs carefully to ensure a happy booking everytime.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Nick to look after my German Shepherd for ten days and I can’t recommend him highly enough! From the moment we started working together, his professionalism and genuine love for dogs were evident. Punctuality - Nick was always on time, which I greatly appreciated. Knowing my dog was in good hands at the scheduled times gave me peace of mind. Long Walks - He took my German Shepherd on long, stimulating walks that catered to her energy levels. It was clear he understood the importance of exercise and mental stimulation for a large breed like mine. Safety in the Heat - With the summer heat, I was particularly concerned about my dog's safety. Nick was very mindful of the weather conditions, ensuring that walks were scheduled during cooler parts of the day and providing plenty of water breaks. Check-ins with Photos and Videos - I loved receiving regular updates with photos and videos. It was reassuring to see my dog happy and engaged during their outings and at Nick’s home too. I could see she was being well looked after. This transparency made me feel connected and confident in his care. Knowledge and Handling - His expertise in handling dogs was clear. Nick demonstrated great knowledge about dog behavior and effectively managed my dog’s strong anxiety with a calm and confident demeanor. It was evident he knew how to create a positive experience for her. On top of everything, Nick had a fantastic personality. Friendly, approachable, and relaxed, he made my dog feel comfortable right away. His professional yet easygoing approach was a perfect match for my dog’s temperament. Andre was terrific! Fantastic home with a lovely outdoor space. His energy is so calm and soothing. Rose took to him immediately. Usually when we collect her after boarding, she’s exhausted from the stress of being away from us, but this time she was very serene and well rested. Such a nice change! Would highly recommend Andre and we will definitely be booking with him again!
We felt so lucky and couldn’t have asked for a better family to look after Coco. From the moment we met , they were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. They treated Coco as if she were part of their own family, and it was clear she was loved every single day. Irua and her sweetest two children was making her feel completely at home. Annie is incredibly responsive & sends lots of photos of your pup during their daycare/stay. Guinness loved his time at the doggy hotel. We knew we could trust Annie with Guinness in the heat (as she has her own two adorable Bostons) & got lots of updates of Guinness in the paddle pool etc. Guinness got lots of playtime with other dogs & clearly lots of love during his stay. Would 110% recommend Annie 💕
There should be an option to leave more stars. Bizhen was an absolute superstar with Pepper. You can see she genuinely loves dogs by how well she looks after her own Mini Schnauzer. Pepper boarded with Bizhen for 5 nights. We were kept updated constantly with great pics of walks, baths and playtime. Will definitely use her again. Thanks Bizhen
Cliff was great. He was very calm, welcoming and communicative. He let us know that girls were settled after we dropped them off and sent lots of photos and updates. We needed to collect the girls a bit earlier and he was very accommodating. We would happily book Cliff again.
Wesley and Hannah were amazing sitters. They sent frequent updates and Delilah looked thrilled in all of them. They were very attentive and ensured she was looked after during a heatwave in London. We can’t wait for Delilah to go back next time we need someone to watch her!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
