I work from home as a writer, so I’m around all day and can give plenty of attention and company to any dog I’m looking after. Being home full time means I can stick to your dog’s usual routine, whether it’s mealtimes, walks, or playtime. I’m lucky to live near Richmond Park, Palewell Park, and Sheen Common, so we can enjoy lots of walks, sniffing adventures, and fresh air every day. This makes it easy to fit exercise, social time, and fun outings naturally into my day alongside my work.

It’s helpful to know your dog’s meal times, how much they usually eat, and how they behave on walks. I also like to know if they get anxious around other dogs or new situations so I can make sure they feel safe, calm, and happy while we’re out and about.
A typical day
A typical day starts with a morning walk to get some fresh air and stretch legs. Back home, dogs enjoy breakfast and some cosy time while I work on my writing. We have plenty of breaks for play, cuddles, and short walks, and in the evening we relax together before bedtime. Every day is full of attention, love, and fun while I’m home with them 😀💖

Abi took phenomenal care of Alastair for over 2 weeks! We loved the daily photos + videos, and she did a fantastic job keeping him cool during the heat wave. He came home a happy pup and I'm sure he will be excited for future stays with Abi :)
Abi was great with our Labrador for her 3 day and night stay. Good communication throughout, to the level requested (minimal!) due to work environment. Followed care instructions etc but also confident to use own initiative when necessary. Will use Abi again.
Snoopy had a fabulous time with Abi. Very well cared for, clearly a happy boy and lots of fab photos and videos during his stay which we really appreciated. Thank you for looking after him and keeping him cool in the heatwave x
Abi is honestly one of the most loving and trustworthy pet carers you could hope to leave your dog with. She treated my dog, Cocoa, as if she were her very own, making sure she felt safe, comfortable, and completely cared for from the moment she arrived. Abi was incredibly responsible and attentive, prioritising Cocoa's wellbeing, routines, and individual needs. One of the things I really appreciated is how consistently she sent daily “pupdates,” with photos and updates, so I always knew how Cocoa was getting on. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was happy and in such good hands. Beyond being amazing with dogs, Abi is just an awesome human. She’s genuine, kind, and has a great sense of humour, the kind of person both people and dogs naturally warm to. Her calm, caring energy makes dogs feel relaxed and at home straight away. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to trust Abi with Cocoa again. If you’re looking for someone who is loving, safe, reliable, and truly passionate about what she does, Abi is absolutely the person you want caring for your dog.
