About: Hello fellow animal lovers! My name is Brendan and I live in the centre of Richmond with my wife and our two adorable and very friendly dogs. I've had them for 6 and 7 years respectively and before that also had 3 cats and various other pets when I was younger. I absolutely love being around pets, especially dogs as my wife and I spent a lot of time with our wonderful dogs over the last few years thanks to our flexible working circumstances, meaning that I especially get to be at home with them a lot and am now happy to share that availabilty with other fellow pet parents. Due to my work set up (working from home more than 90% of the time) I have plenty of time to support pet parents in and near Richmond (and beyond) and am available for regular walks, drop-ins and of course boarding. I looking forward to meet you all and your pets! I work full-time, primarily at home (going to the office once every week or two weeks). Very flexible whilst working at home and able to help with multiple walks, drops and more. We live in a safe gated community with ground floor access and will assess each pets individual needs carefully to ensure a happy booking everytime.

About: I’m a London-based professional with a flexible schedule over the next few months, offering reliable and attentive pet care. I grew up with cats and a dog (a sprocker spaniel) and have lots of experience dog sitting for family and friends. I’m organised and responsive, and I’ll make sure your pet’s routine is followed closely. I can also keep you updated with messages and photos :) Pet care fits easily into my routine as I mainly work from home four days a week and currently have a flexible schedule while working my notice period. This means I’m available for daytime walks, check-ins and feeding, and can adapt my schedule to meet specific needs. I provide attentive and structured care, adapting to each pet’s usual routine to ensure they feel comfortable and settled. At home, I live in a lower ground flat with access to a shared, picket-fenced garden, which offers a secure and calm environment. I’m also very close to Richmond Green and Richmond Park, so dogs benefit from regular walks in open, green spaces. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I make sure to follow their established routines closely, including feeding, walking and any specific instructions. I provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident their pet is being well looked after.
“Misty is a 4-month-old Sheltie and this was her first time with a sitter, so I was quite nervous! But she had a wonderful time with Bizhen and came home happy, calm and clearly well looked after. Bizhen took her for a lovely walk and even sent photos of her poops (really appreciated!). We’ll definitely be booking again.”

“Super happy dog and owner! Excellent service! Stephane is very skilled in dealing with dogs. My puddle loved him instantly! He was happy to come and pick her up from the bus stop as I live a bit far away and had to take the bus there. But he made it all easy! Stephane took Yuki on long walks and kept her busy unless she wanted to have a nap. Excellent communication all along! Many thanks! I highly recommend Stephane and I will definitely book him again!”

About: I’ve been raised around dogs since childhood and have two of my own, so I’ve seen it all. That lifelong experience means I can switch gears from high-energy park adventures to giving a senior dog the slow, patient care they need. I’m an expert at reading a dog's mood and adapting to their personality, whether they want to explore every corner of London or just need a quiet, steady hand to feel comfortable. Your dog isn't just a job to me, they’re handled with the same intuition and care I give my own pups My daily routine is built around pet care. Since I'm home every day, including weekends, I have total flexibility to follow your dog's specific schedule without any work conflicts. In my home, your dog joins my two for a consistent routine of play, meals, and rest. In your home, I follow your dog's established schedule to keep them comfortable in their own space. Since I’m home full-time, I provide constant supervision and can adapt to whichever setting suits your dog best.
“Freddie is sooo happy here. Not only that- I am always a happy dog mom! Deniz and her family are so kind to Freddie and always go the extra mile. When Freddie wasn’t eating, Deniz even encouraged him but sitting with him and taking time out of her day to inform me and mixing it up/using a spoon/ different bowl - he ate and was a happy boy (he was just being fussy with new food I bought him!). I even left Freddie with them when I went on holiday and he was truly spoilt and I could fully relax knowing he was (and always is) taken care of xx”

“I met Will and Helen for a quick meet and great and I could instantly see how much they love dogs. They kindly showed me their flat and that made me feel at ease very quickly. Will has been the one mainly looking after Lola and from the start he was very accommodating with my requests around timings, care required and flexibility around drop off and pick up. I totally recommend them if you are looking for someone you can trust your little companion to. Thank you Will and Helen for sharing your love with Lola!”

“I was very happy leaving Margot with Sandra. She welcomed Margot into her home and kept me up to date with messages and photos. I know Margot enjoyed her stay and I would definitely hope to use Sandra again. Thankyou”

“Elizabeth was very accommodating and looked after my dog Vinnie at relatively short notice. Vinnie was immediately made to be welcome and he was clearly at ease in her home. She was very thoughtful and sent me updates. Would definitely recommend Elizabeth.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for Ziggy. From the moment we arrived, he felt completely at home. There was no hesitation, no anxiety—just a happy, relaxed dog settling in as if he’d been there a hundred times before. That immediate comfort told me everything I needed to know. Throughout the day, I received regular updates from Austeya covering feeding, naps, playtime, and how he was generally getting on. The photos and videos were constant and reassuring, and it was clear he was being properly cared for and genuinely enjoying himself. I never once felt the need to check in, because I already had all the information I needed for complete peace of mind. And Austeya’s photography deserves a special mention. The pictures are exceptional—beautiful profile shots that genuinely capture Ziggy’s character and charm. They’re not just updates; they’re keepsakes. Ziggy was clearly well looked after, happy, and relaxed. I would trust Austeya with him again without hesitation.”

About: Hi, I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, personalities and ages. I owned and cared for my French Bulldog for the past 10 years, and before him I had a Golden Retriever. I also helped raise and care for a Chocolate Labrador from puppyhood and still regularly take him on walks today. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my dream was to become a vet, and although I chose a different path, my love for animals has never changed. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, getting to know their personalities, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while you’re away. Your dog will enjoy a secure fenced garden, plenty of playtime, walks, attention and, of course, lots of cuddles. I’m available throughout the day, which means your pet will receive lots of companionship and won’t be left alone for long periods. I have a warm, family-oriented home with my toddler son, who absolutely loves animals and has grown up around dogs. Because of this, my home is best suited to dogs that are friendly and comfortable around young children. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I will care for your dog as if they were my own. I’ll also be happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy and receiving plenty of love and attention. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I am available throughout the day, every day. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, walks and regular toilet breaks. I enjoy spending time outdoors and being active, so daily walks are something I genuinely look forward to. At home, dogs will have access to a secure fenced garden and a comfortable family environment where they can relax, play and receive lots of affection. Because I am home most of the time, your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive the care, supervision and cuddles they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. In my home, dogs will be welcomed into a loving family environment with plenty of attention, supervision and affection. I have a fully fenced and secure garden where dogs can safely play and explore, and I always ensure they have access to fresh water, comfortable resting areas and regular toilet breaks. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, preferences and any special requirements so they can feel as settled and relaxed as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime or simply curling up for cuddles, I will make sure they receive the care and attention they need. As an experienced dog owner, I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else. I will treat your dog as if they were my own and am happy to provide regular updates and photos, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. For dog walking, I prioritise safety at all times, using secure leads and choosing suitable walking routes based on your dog’s age, energy level and needs.
“Melek and her partner Turgut were great! Melek offered to meet us prior to the daycare day as an intro and Toby was very happy to meet them. I was really pleased with their service. Recommended 100%”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for most of my life, and caring for pets has always felt natural to me. Growing up, our family home was full of life with dogs, and that experience shaped how comfortable and attentive I am with animals of different personalities. We had two dogs in particular who left a lasting impression on me. My sister had a cocker spaniel who was affectionate and playful, and later during my university years I had a Weimaraner—full of energy and always ready for adventure. He and I quickly bonded over our shared love of morning runs, so I’m especially confident handling active, high-energy dogs who need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. More recently, our family welcomed a cockapoo who still lives with my sister, and I’ve remained closely involved in caring for him whenever I visit. Overall, I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—whether that’s going for a long walk, keeping them company at home, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. My setup works really well for pet care — I'm based at home the majority of the week, with just one day out that can flex depending on what's needed. That means I'm available for boarding almost any day, weekends included. Plenty of calm company, no rush, no stress. I live in a third floor flat, so no escape risks and a nice calm environment away from the chaos of the street. The building has a fenced garden which is great for a bit of fresh air, and if your pet needs a longer stretch, Richmond Park is just around the corner — hard to beat. No other pets in the flat, so your cat or dog gets the full run of the place and all of our attention. My 10 year old daughter absolutely loves animals, so they'll have a little devoted fan following them around too.

“Thank you, Vera, and your family for looking after Biscuit so well. She looked happy and well cared for when I collected her. It’s such a relief to know that she was in good hands while we were away.”

“Thank you so much for petsitting Amy today😇. We are really excited and can highly recommend Wiola. Amy was very happy to be in cozy Wiola’s home and looked very relaxed when we arrived😍Wiola is very nice, she gave us updates and photos during the day, which was great. Thank you and we look forward to next time😍☺️👌”

“Coco had a lovely time with Megan. She was quick to respond, flexible and more importantly she clearly loves dogs. I felt safe in the knowledge that coco would be well looked after. Communication throughout the day was great for my peace of mind.”

“As always, Deefer had a fantastic time with Jake - I will look forward to using him again in the future, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone to look after their dog.”

Rita was great at looking after Wendy on 2 occasions within the week. She followed instructions for Wendy’s current post op recovery. She also left my apartment the same way I left it. Rita was also flexible in arrangements which helped so much. She was also available on short notice and rearranged her day to help us out. Would definitely book again (:

Danny had a great day with Peter. It was his first time spending the day with Peter but he was made to feel at home straight away. Peter kept him in his familiar routine with a lovely walk and lots of attention and I had total confidence he would be looked after well - and we received some great photo/video updates throughout the day. I would thoroughly recommend and know that Danny will be happy to spend time with Peter again. He was well cared for and came hope very relaxed.

I left Truffle with George for the first time a few weeks ago and Truffle seemed to have a lovely time. George sent updates throughout the stay and was kind, attentive and caring with my dog. I will be hesitate leaving Truffle with him again and would highly recommend him to others

Bizhen has been looking after Nellie weekly for three months now, since Nellie was a younger puppy. She is always very communicative and sends lots of updates and photos during the day. It’s lovely getting updates of what Nellie has been up to! Nellie loves going to Bizhen and now runs up the stairs as soon as the door is opened, which makes me very and happy and comfortable leaving her. They have built up a lovely relationship over the time Nellie has been going to her. Bizhen knows dogs very well, and has helped with little things like clipped Nellie’s nails or clearing sleep from around her eyes. I would highly recommend!

Ann is just such an amazing dog sitter. Both my dogs were so happy to spend the day at Ann’s home, Biggy is very nervous and very obsessed with me so can struggle to settle with other people. He was letting Ann stroke him and settling for naps so quickly which is just testament to Ann’s nature and way with dogs. Would definitely recommend

We left our puppy lily with Mo for a day and it went really well. Mo is very friendly and relaxed as is his dog tanner. Mo made lily feel at home right away and was great about sending us frequent updates. When she came home, our pup was noticeably calmer and happy. Would highly recommend Mo to anyone.

Paulina is a life saver . Ricci was so happy to go to her , has an amazing day with fun and activities , so relaxed and good night sleep after . We always trust Paulina that Ricci is in his best in her place and hands to look after him . Update is always with many pictures and detailed . Thank you Paulina , 5 stars and above.

Anna Marie was great with Suki. We did a meet and greet before and Suki took an instant liking. Anna Marie house sat for a full day, but since she lives close by,she decided to try and let Suki and her kitten meet. Being a terrier, Suki loves to chase cats, but Anna Marie managed to get the kitten and Suki have a gentle play together, which I was shocked she managed to do. Anna Marie was sending me lots of photos and videos showing how she was doing

Nick is a wonderful dog walker! Utah travels so much with him and always happy to see him. He introduce her to other dogs and keeps her engage the whole time. Nick was also kind enough to accommodate Utah when we ran into personal challenge. I highly recommend using Nick’s service!

- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
