“This was Corby’s first ever day at day care and I was very nervous at leaving him as he barks when I just leave him with friends he knows when I go off to the loo. I needn’t have worried - judging by the videos, the fact that Tatiana has agreed to have him again, and the fact that he’s fast asleep on my lap now, he had a great time. I’ll be using Tatiana again - tomorrow in fact. That is the highest recommendation I can give as Corby means everything to me.”

“Samanta was great with Molly! She was really kind and caring, and I felt totally comfortable leaving Molly with her. I’d happily recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

“Pei Ying provided a wonderful daycare service for my dogs. She communicated clearly and kept me updated on Bala and Lucifer’s well-being throughout the day. The environment was also fantastic! I highly recommend her!”

About: I've taken care of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments since I was 10 years old. Friends, neighbours, and family have regularly trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their dogs—whether for a few hours or overnight. I now live in a dog-friendly flat with my 2-year-old toy poodle, so your pup will always have a gentle companion to play and relax with. I'm experienced with small breeds, senior dogs and I always tailor my approach to each dog’s personality and routine. I provide a calm, affectionate environment where dogs feel right at home. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which means your dog will never be left alone and will get lots of attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or boarding during weekdays, except Mondays and all day on weekends. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or a stroll around the park, I’ll make sure your pup feels loved and cared for. Your dog will be cared for in a calm, dog-friendly home with a secure fenced garden and my sweet 3kg toy poodle for company. I always take the time to understand each dog’s needs and personality to ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I never leave dogs unsupervised and I can easily crate your pup if that’s what they’re used to. My home is clean, cozy, and a peaceful space where dogs can truly relax.
“Yiwa was really great with Paco he clearly enjoyed his time with her and bonded with her quickly. I received lots of photos keeping me up to date and giving me peace of mind while I was away. The organisation with Yiwa was quick and easy, I’ll definitely use her again for my Maltese and I would recommend her to anyone in need of a great sitter.”

“Hetvi is the best dog sitter a dog owner could ask for! We visited her twice before boarding and I was confident after the first visit my Dachshund would love her, I was right, the second time we met up he ran straight to her! On day of boarding I was updated with lots of photos and videos and when he came home he slept like a baby-so tired from all the fun! Honestly couldn’t recommend Hetvi enough, she listens to everything I tell her and looks after him like he’s her own. Thank you so much, love me and Hugo❤️”

“Lah has been amazing, she is in touch throughout the day and has set my nerves at ease leaving my puppy with someone new, she is trustworthy and professional and loves my puppy as if it were her own so I know Polo is in gods hands! He came back so tired so that’s a good thing meaning he’s enjoyed himself. Have rebooked and will continue to do so! Highly recommended it’s also nice receiving pictures of my own puppy throughout the day xx”

“Priya wqs very kind with Pickles. She was very keen on understanding, and adapting to Pickles’ needs, and schedule. I received frequent updates, and I am sure Pickles enjoyed his stay as well - he was very happy to meet her again. Thank you, Priya for taking care of Pickles.”

About: Hello! I’m Shanshan. I live in Wembley with my husband, we have a 5-year-old rescue dog, Badun. My passion for dogs started in Beijing, where I spent several years as a volunteer at a dog rescue station. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, helping them recover and find new homes. In fact, I rescued Badun myself from an abandoned construction site! She has traveled with me across three countries—Beijing to Tokyo, and now London. Badun is very calm and loves having new friends come to stay! Why Pick Me? • Patience & Behavioral Expertise: I have a "calm energy" and am highly observant of dog body language. Having worked with many rescues and puppies, I am incredibly patient with dogs and always willing to go the extra mile to help a dog feel safe. • Scientific Care & Respect for Routine: I believe in "Scientific Dog Raising" (Positive Reinforcement) and understand that a consistent routine is a dog's "safety net." My professional background makes me deeply responsible; I will follow your feeding, walking, and nap schedules with 100% accuracy. • Constant Companionship: Since I am currently based at home full time, I can provide your pet with constant attention and companionship. Your dog won't be left alone and will have my full focus throughout the day. I am currently preparing for my exams, which means I am home almost every day. This allows me to provide constant companionship and plenty of playtime for your dogs. I am very flexible with my schedule and can accommodate boarding during the week and on weekends, ensuring your pet is never left alone for long periods. I live in a secure environment in Wembley where your dog’s safety is my top priority. I have my own dog, Badun, who is very calm and friendly. Your pets can play and rest anywhere—the sofa, the bed, or in a crate if they prefer. There is a small garden and a dog-run area right below the apartment which is perfect for toilet breaks, and the neighborhood is very friendly for longer dog walks.
About: Hello, I’m James. Animals have been a constant throughout my life and caring for them has grown from a personal passion into a professional vocation. I deliver a bespoke pet care service built on a simple belief: every animal deserves care tailored to their individual needs, personality and routine. I have experience caring for dogs, cats and small animals of all ages, from energetic youngsters to seniors requiring a slower pace and extra support. I am comfortable administering most routine medications, maintaining established training routines and adapting my approach to suit nervous, anxious or rescue animals. What sets me apart is that I never treat pets as numbers. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every booking begins with understanding what makes your pet feel safe, comfortable and happy. Some animals want adventure and enrichment; others want consistency, quiet company and reassurance. During your pet’s stay or while they are in my care, you can expect regular updates, photographs and honest communication. I know how important trust is when somebody else is caring for a beloved family member. Whether you need walks, drop-in visits, house sitting or overnight care, my goal is always the same: for your pet to feel secure, understood and genuinely cared for while you’re away. 20+ years caring for companion animals • Experience with puppies, senior pets and rescue animals • Comfortable administering routine medications • Knowledge of positive reinforcement and reward-based training • Experienced with multi-pet households • Regular photo and video updates provided I am available seven days per week. As a full-time dog walker/sitter/trainer/carer I can be as flexible as you need me to be. I'm here to help you! I love being outside and can go for as long a walk as your dog can handle! I will follow your lead, though it is worth noting that my training style doesn’t include treats - if you insist, I will use them.

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including walking, feeding, playing, and most importantly making sure they feel calm, safe, and well cared for at all times. I adapt to each pet’s personality, whether they are more active or more relaxed, and I always aim to ensure they feel comfortable and happy. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I make sure to plan my schedule around the needs of the pets in my care, including regular walks, feeding times, and playtime. I am organised and flexible, which allows me to give pets the attention and consistency they need throughout the day. I also make time for updates to owners, so they always know how their pet is doing. The safety and wellbeing of pets are always my top priority. In my home, I make sure the environment is safe, clean, and calm, so pets feel comfortable and free from any risks. I always supervise their behaviour and avoid any situations that could cause stress or harm. I also have a garden and a terrace where pets can enjoy fresh air and outdoor time. Additionally, there is a park just behind my home, which is perfect for walks and exercise
“Vesela and her family offered a welcoming environment for our dog, who had a great time with them. Updates were provided during the day and photos taken of the day's activities; it was clear that our dog enjoyed herself. I look forward to using Vesela again in the future and would recommend her.”

About: I've been the go-to person for looking after my friends' dogs and cats for over 6 years now! I provide a spacious, smoker-free house with a private garden for some accompanied outdoor time and lots and lots of cuddles. I will give regular updates and photos of your pup and how they're doing and though I don't have my own, I would love to get some pets one day, and in the meantime, I'll be happy to give your animals the love and support our furry companions deserve. Feel free to reach out with any questions and I'd be happy to answer! I've taken a break from work for the next month so I'm based at home everyday. I'll be able to spend as much time as possible with them, and when I go out, my sister loves animals just as much as me and would be taking care of them. When I start work again, I will be working from home a few days in the week with my sister Joy at home on the other days. (there's always someone at home). We're very much homebodies, so most weekends, we're chilling at home, watching tv, doing art, reading or playing games, baking - the works! My home and neighbourhood is very quiet and my house is smoke free! We tend to keep the house clean and don't have windows wide open to risk any animals jumping out. My sister and I keep a track of when we've fed them, if they've had some play time and their overall wellbeing. With that being said, I think that their downtime is also very important as it gives them time to balance their energy, and I know this by gauging their body language. If I'm to have anyone around, I make sure that they are happy and comfortable with animals both for their sake and the pets' sake, as it's not fair on either one if there is tension.
“Charlotte is absolutely lovely 😊 Yoshi has warmed to her right away. Very caring, calm and reassuring which has been soo helpful. Thank you Charlotte for looking after Yoshi soo well ❤️ 100% recommend.”

“Communication was great from start to finish, very prompt responses, and they kept us updated with photos throughout the day. We really liked that Adrianna and Miguel wanted to get to know more about Rufus - routine, habits and any concerns etc - ahead of the booking, so that he was as comfortable as possible in their home. They were also happy to arrange a meet and greet. Rufus had a wonderful time. We would definitely use them again.”

“This was Hugo’s first time staying with her, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She sent lots of pictures, which really reassured me and showed how comfortable and happy he was. It was clear from the start how kind and lovely she is with him. I’m so grateful for the care she gave Hugo.”

Pumpkin had a wonderful day at daycare with Justine! He came home so happy, and throughout the day Justine kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. I'm so pleased with the care she provided and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable individual. Thank you, Justine!

Beth is really great. I don’t know what she does with my Nancy, but Nancy absolutely adores her. This time, as soon as we turned into Beth’s road, to drop Nancy, she started pulling until we reached Beth’s door, and then she sat right in front of the entrance waiting for me to ring the buzzer. Nancy was so keen.

Alexa and John were both incredibly kind and considerate, and took amazing care of Arthur! Arthur can be a super energetic dog and he was really calm and happy at the end of the day, so I know he had a fantastic time with them both. They also had great communication and updates throughout. I can’t recommend Alexa and John enough - thank you again!

Meropi was incredible looking after our dog, Velvet! He absolutely loved spending time with her, and the regular updates and photos gave us complete peace of mind knowing he was happy, comfortable, and having a great time. It’s clear that Meropi genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be using her services again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. 😊

Tom & Moppie had the best time with Anushka & Adam. We rarely leave them so read all reviews and Anushka & Adam were perfect. We had regular messages and photo updates which was really nice and gave us peace of mind. They looked relaxed and settled in and had all of their home comforts. A home from home. I would highly recommend Asushka & Adam and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you from us and Tom & Moppie 😊

Joanna looked after our Golden Retriever, Broly, incredibly well and he had a fantastic time staying with her. Her kind nature and obvious experience with dogs gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We received updates throughout his stay and it was clear he was happy, well cared for, and treated like one of the family. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Joanna again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

So thankful to have found Jessica!! Our dog Amber has small dog syndrome, and doesn’t warm easily to people but after a meet and greet with Jessica we felt so reassured she would be in good hands. Amber spent the day with her and Jessica was so intuitive to her needs, keeping us updated through the day and shared lovely pictures! Will definitely be booking her again, she’s just such a natural with Amber and would highly recommend! Thank you

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
