“Pie Ying was amazing with our 16 yr old dog. She was very attentive to his needs, took him out to the park every day and made sure we were updated on a daily basis with photos and videos. Snow, her dog was a lovely companion to Mongu, so much that now we are feeling confident to add another dog to or family! :)) Would 100% recommend if you are looking for a sitter that will look after your pet with love and care.”

“Elizabeth looked after my French Bulldog puppy, Patch, for a week while we were on holiday, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We had never left him with anyone before, so we were naturally a bit nervous, but Elizabeth completely put us at ease by sending regular updates and photos. She is so warm, friendly, and clearly loves dogs—it really shows in the care she gives. Patch had the best time with her, and it was such a relief knowing he was in safe hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elizabeth and will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Tatiana is absolutely brilliant! She took great care of our Oscar and sent lots of pictures regularly showing us what a great time he was having! Couldn’t ask for a better place to leave our fur baby and highly recommend :)”
“Tainá is one of the best dog sitters we’ve had! She is super friendly, followed all of the care instructions for Lily, sent lots of lovely photos and kept me updated at all times. Lily came back super happy and relaxed and in all the photos she looked extremely comfortable. Thank you so much and we’ll definitely return ❤️”

“Anushka was fantastic with Puddles! We really appreciated how much time she spent during the meet & greet going over everything carefully and making sure we all felt comfortable. Puddles’ first overnight stay went very smoothly - he came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very well looked after. We’re looking forward to his next stay already!”

“This was the first time I had used a Cat sitter as opposed to a cattery and did have some reservation but in the initial stage Sherwine (Sherry) fully explained how it would work and what I needed to do which eased my initial concerns. While I was away she then kept me up to date on how he was doing and even sent a couple of videos. He had plenty of room to run around, far more than he would have had at the cattery and when I came to get him he didn't want to go. Unfortunately I am moving away from London but would most certainly have used Sherry again rather than a cattery”

“Diana and her family were so lovely and kind with my dog, Holly! I was looking for a caring person who owned a large dog and would be able to handle my young, energetic and sometimes "chatty" Goldendoodle, but also a family that Holly would be comfortable with. I feel so lucky to have found the perfect family! Diana sent me photos and videos of Holly and my dog absolutely loved her and Akira, their beautiful, sweet dog. I will absolutely book with Diana again!”

“Shayla did an absolutely amazing job looking after my Sky. She was super responsive and allowed us to drop in before I’d booked to make sure we were both comfortable. Before Skys stay she was super proactive asking for any details and feeding schedules for Sky so she had it all in advance which helped me to make sure I’d thought of everything before dropping her. During her stay I got lots of updates and photos which I really valued too. By the looks of the photos they welcomed Sky in like her own and she settled in really well with them Couldn’t recommend enough!”

“Cannot recommend Fernando enough! Gave our dog brilliant care, attention & fuss. Great communication throughout and felt so relaxed leaving our dog with him! Woody is an absolute sweetheart!”

About: This is my job, it isn’t a side hustle for me. I have Diplomas in both Small Animal Care and Applied Canine Behaviour Management. Certified Groomer. Animals have been a constant throughout my life and caring for them has grown from a personal passion into a professional vocation. I deliver a bespoke pet care service built on a simple belief: every animal deserves care tailored to their individual needs, personality and routine. I have experience caring for dogs, cats and small animals of all ages, from energetic youngsters to seniors requiring a slower pace and extra support. I am comfortable administering most routine medications, maintaining established training routines and adapting my approach to suit nervous, anxious or rescue animals. What sets me apart is that I never treat pets as numbers. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every booking begins with understanding what makes your pet feel safe, comfortable and happy. Some animals want adventure and enrichment; others want consistency, quiet company and reassurance. During your pet’s stay or while they are in my care, you can expect regular updates, photographs and honest communication. I know how important trust is when somebody else is caring for a beloved family member. Whether you need walks, drop-in visits, house sitting or overnight care, my goal is always the same: for your pet to feel secure, understood and genuinely cared for while you’re away. 25+ years caring for companion animals • Experience with puppies, senior pets and rescue animals • Comfortable administering routine medications • Knowledge of positive reinforcement and reward-based training • Experienced with multi-pet households • Regular photo and video updates provided This is my job, it’s not a side hustle for me. I work seven days per week. Bookings are a mix of independent and platform. Tell me what you need and I’ll try my best to make it happen. I'm here to help you! I love being outside and can go for as long a walk as your dog can handle! I will follow your lead, though it is worth noting that my training style doesn’t include treats - if you insist, I will use them.
“Charlotte took great care of Mimi and was extremely flexible and considerate of changes to the original dates / pick-up times which was super appreciated! I can tell Mimi loved her time with Charlotte and we will definitely be back soon!”

“Jon and Matt were excellent from the moment I made the booking all the way through to picking up my Labrador, Dave. When I first made contact Jon suggested that we meet first, so Dave and I met him in a local park on a dog walk, which was a lovely way to know that Dave would be well looked after. Dave had a lovely time and seemed really happy. Would definitely use again.”

“Jennifer and her family were absolutely lovely! They were so kind and sweet to my little boy. They’re incredibly responsive and provide regular updates. I can’t wait to have them watch benji again. I would highly recommend!!”

About: I have a bubbly Labrador, Oscar, which makes me well equipped in dealing with situations that may arise both inside and outside of the house. I adore a walk in the park and playing new games to stimulate your dogs mind, leaving them ready for a well-deserved nap. I've dog walked an array of dogs and love finding a new furry friend. I am a year out of secondary school, living at home and working on a zero-hour contract. Therefore, my timing is very flexible. If I'm given more notice, I can avoid booking hospitality shifts in the interest of looking after your dog! For home stays, I have a fenced off, large garden for your dog to play in. I have my own dog therefore, a meeting before hand would be preferable. However, my dog is well-natured and plays well in the park so ideally there would be no issues! Furthermore, the dogs can stay in separate rooms overnight if requested.

“Beatriz was absolutely amazing. From the very start she kept me reassured about how Cosmo was doing and regularly sent photos and updates of what he was up to, which really put my mind at ease. As Cosmo recently had tendon surgery, Beatriz took the time to ask thoughtful questions about his care and recovery, making sure she was fully aware of his needs. That level of care and attention meant so much to us. She was kind, professional, and genuinely caring, we felt completely at ease leaving Cosmo with her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will definitely be using her again.”

“While we ware away Lucy kept in touch on how are dog loki was she sent some really cute pictures. When we picked him up he seemed so happy and contented .Will definitely be leaving him with lucie again.x”

Sai was absolutely wonderful with my cat! From start to finish, the communication was top notch, super transparent, attentive, and consistently kept me updated on how my cat was doing, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. You can really tell Sai genuinely cares about animals and takes the time to make them feel comfortable and well loved. I couldn't have asked for a better, more trustworthy cat sitter. I will definitely be reaching out to Sai again in the future!
Dukie looked like he had the best sleepover with Erim! I was updated with photos and videos throughout his stay which was great. The location is right next to a beautiful park with so much greenery, so is the perfect place to get walked throughout the day. When I dropped Dukie off, we spoke about Dukie’s feeding schedule and any additional info. As well as getting all the updates when we returned. Erim is a dog lover and I would 100% recommend him to anyone. We will be using him again for sure!

Maria Camila and Kyle were absolutely wonderful with Wolfie during his 2-week stay. They treated him just like their own, and it was clear how much love and care they provided. They communicated daily by sharing pictures and videos, which I really appreciated. Wolfie was genuinely sad to leave them, which says everything you need to know about how well he was looked after. I would highly recommend them to any pet owner!

Louie and Erica were great with Dijon. They sent us regular updates, were very flexible, and followed all our instructions around feeding and his routine. Dijon was happy and well when we picked him up, and it was clear they genuinely cared about him. We also really appreciated that they had air conditioning in one room during a very hot week, as well as window screens to make sure he was safe and couldn’t escape. We’d be very happy to leave Dijon with them again!

We had a wonderful experience with Alexandra. She and her partner are both incredibly kind, caring and welcoming. Alexandra looked after my bengal cat, Snoopy, so thoughtfully and paid great attention to every little detail. Before his stay, she took the time to learn all about his routine, personality and needs, which immediately gave me confidence that he would be in safe hands. Throughout our trip, she kept us updated every single day with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our holiday knowing Snoopy was happy and well cared for. When we picked him back, he was relaxed, happy and clearly very comfortable. It was obvious that he had received plenty of love, attention and excellent care, making him feel safe even while he was away from home. I genuinely couldn't recommend Alexandra more highly. We'll definitely be using her services again in the future. She's a true Staar Catsister!! Kisses from the little prince. X 🐾💖🐆

Luna has stayed with Tatiana and her family several times for dog sitting, and they've been amazing every time. We always feel completely safe leaving Luna with them, and they keep us updated throughout the stay with photos and videos. They have a massive garden for Luna to play in too. Highly recommend!

Thanks to Kate for looking after brunie. Kate took care of brunie. She was very prompt in all the responses and also kept us updated. She shared regular pics. She is amazing and we could sense brunie enjoyed her company. I will recommend her to anyone looking for a pet boarding. Thanks Kate

Shayla did an absolutely amazing job looking after my Sky. By the looks of the photos they welcomed Sky in like her own and she settled in really well with them Couldn’t recommend enough!

Thank you so much for taking such good care of puppy. Zoranye took excellent care of puppy tending to all his needs and walking him 3 times a day and even cooking for a fussy eater she went over and beyond definitely recommend her and will definitely be requesting Zoranye in the future!

This was our second time leaving Taco with Tenny and once again she had an amazing time. I love seeing her out on walks and adventures with the other dogs and Tenny is so accommodating as well. I would never hesitate to leave Taco in Tenny’s care and I know Taco can’t wait for her next stay!

Anna Marie and Carlos were absolutely brilliant with my cat, Nella. She was incredibly well looked after and content in their company. I loved receiving daily updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I couldn't have asked for better sitters, I’ll definitely be booking them again, thank you so much!

Rachel was fantastic looking after my dog over a couple of days. It was a last minute request, and she was incredibly accommodating and flexible throughout. My dog was happy, relaxed and content when I picked him up, which gave me complete peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

Paulina takes such good care of Finley every time he stays with her - I think it’s been 5 or 6 times now… possibly more! He’s normally quite an anxious dog… but he runs straight into her house with a wagging tail every time we drop him off because he loves his time with Paulina so much 🤍

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
