About: My family always had dogs since I can remember and at some point we also had a cat, a myna and a parrot. I was always surrounded by animals growing up and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I am also a children’s nurse so I can quickly pick up on and cater to any medical needs for your pet. I work full time and do shift work but on my day offs, I would love to spend time with some furry friends and give them all the love they need! I live in a flat with another girl who loves animal as well. I can cater to your pet’s specific needs as I do know that every pet is different and would needed to be communicated clearly.

We’re so grateful to have found such wonderful sitters for our dog, Simba. Simba is a sweet natured huge Cane Corso! While we were away, we knew he was not just being looked after, but genuinely loved and treated as part of the family. It gave us complete peace of mind to know he was in such kind, caring hands. Simba clearly had the best time - he came home happy, relaxed, and we’re pretty sure he misses them already! They welcomed him into their home and hearts as if he were their own, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much for everything.

Sophie and Guy were very caring with our cocker spaniel when he stayed with them for a week! We could tell he was very happy and relaxed, and they took him for lots of walks with the ball! They also sent lots of updates and pictures which was great. We’d happily book in a stay again. Thank you both!

Leaving Anakin with Zoranye was a great experience, she took care of him with love as if he was her own. We got all reassurance we needed to feel comfortable in a boarding session. Zoranye was very flexible to agree on a meet and greet the day before to check how the doggies got along. She asked everything that was important in terms of feeding schedule, habits, restrictions, etc. Communications were reliable and we had photos all day long, playing, eating, chilling. She is a top carer, I totally recommend her.

Evija was absolutely amazing with our cat indie. We have never left indie with a cat sitter before and were a little apprehensive, but she was incredibly attentive and caring with her. Her house is ideal for a cat to feel at home and entertained, and she clearly took time to play with indie and spend time with her as well as take good care of her regular needs. She would send us long updates almost every day discussing indie’s behaviour, how she got on and what they did/ what toys she played with, including lots of lovely pictures. She was patient and kind with us as well, as we were a tad late on arrival with cat, but she was able to be flexible and work with us. We will definitely be using this cat sitter again and want to recommend her to anybody else! 🐱🍀

Beatriz was absolutely amazing. From the very start she kept me reassured about how Cosmo was doing and regularly sent photos and updates of what he was up to, which really put my mind at ease. As Cosmo recently had tendon surgery, Beatriz took the time to ask thoughtful questions about his care and recovery, making sure she was fully aware of his needs. That level of care and attention meant so much to us. She was kind, professional, and genuinely caring, we felt completely at ease leaving Cosmo with her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will definitely be using her again.

I left my French bulldog Pablo with Fernando and Sergio for a week for the first time. We met beforehand and we were able to ask each other all the necessary questions and to meet their dog Woody too. Pablo loved them instantly and I felt very comfortable with him going to them. They sent me updates while I was away which gave me a worry-free week. When I went to pick him up, he was clearly part of the family and didn’t want to leave. Thanks so much guys, really appreciated how well you looked after Pablo. He’ll be back!

About: I'm passionate about dogs of all kinds and have been involved with dogs (& cats) one way or another my whole life. I grew up with dogs and learned first-hand the real-life care they need and deserve. Recently I've been involved in rescuing, fostering and dog-sitting in my home for my local community and have enjoyed it so much I decided creating a profile on Rover would be an excellent idea. But even in my 20's I used to dog-sit in clients' homes regularly, sometimes for up to a month at a time. I'm also a volunteer for the Advanced Dog Ownership Initiative, a new scheme developed by my dog professional colleagues, to help encourage and support responsible dog ownership, which has helped me improve my own understanding dog interaction and ownership. I've also previously worked as a volunteer for a London-based animal rescue which has contributed to my passion for animal welfare. I'm able to adapt to each dogs personality, size and breed, having looked after everything from big unneutered, untrained Huskies & Bouviers, all the way down to active Jack Russels and Scottish Terriers. I take into account each dogs sensitivities, for example, some dogs do not like contact with other dogs while out on a walk, and some need a good 2 hours out in the park, whereas some only need 2 shorter walks a day. Some dogs need stimulation during the day and others just need a good chunk of downtime to decompress. Each dog is different and I accommodate their needs accordingly. The only reason my partner and I do not currently have a dog is that we would prefer to improve our finances before making the commitment to bringing home a dog. My experience in fostering and owning dogs in the past has helped me understand fully what an important decision it is. So helping others care for their beloved hounds is the next best thing! I am a freelance creative who largely works from home, and only rarely has to work on-site. If that is unavoidable, my partner who is also experienced with dogs will be able to be home. However, if I know I'll be caring for a dog at the time I'll prefer to be home for the entire period, and I will try to arrange it that way. In the mornings, I think it's important to immediately let the dog out into the garden. I also think a walk first thing in the morning is ideal for most breeds as the nights can feel long for dogs. I'd follow their usual feeding routine but if they are fed in the morning I'd do that before the walk as usually they like to do their business after a meal! I can walk a dog up to 1,5 hours to 2 hours at a time if they require it. During the day I keep an eye on them and provide a space they can have to themselves to decompress. If they need a bit of stimulation, I can engage in a few games with them in the garden. My partner and I are "home bodies" so I'm usually home for the whole day except for a short outing to the local shop, and in most cases my partner will also be at home working. A late afternoon/early evening walk is also possible if they need it, sometimes this can be a short walk around a couple of blocks in the neighbourhood or further afield depending on the dog. Evenings are usually very quiet and relaxing but the dog is let out into the garden multiple times before securing the house and heading to bed. The dog is welcome to sleep in our bedroom on their bed if that is needed or in our living room. And finally, if the dog enjoys affection and human interaction then I have cuddles available by the truckload! I think it's important to follow a routine that feels healthy, comfortable and safe for the dog. Understanding their needs for diet, sleep, interaction and walking is important. In hot weather I would be sure to walk a dog outside of the hottest times of the day especially for dogs with thick coats. I carry a water bottle with me on walks at all times to ensure the dog is properly hyrdated. Before walking your dog for the first time, I'll check with you if they are comfortable around other dogs and people, or if they prefer not to interact at all. Some dogs are nervous of other dogs, and senior dogs often prefer to be left alone, especially by younger dogs. I'm careful to avoid any interaction that may not be comfortable. Giving a dog plenty of time to stretch their legs and also take in the scents and sounds is important and often the best way to keep them relaxed and content for the whole day ahead. Our home has a fenced garden, no other pets and no children so it provides a relaxing environment for any dog. I'd dedicate a space to put their bed which can be theirs for the duration to sleep and decompress.

About: Hello! I’m Shanshan. I live in Wembley with my husband, we have a 5-year-old rescue dog, Badun. My passion for dogs started in Beijing, where I spent several years as a volunteer at a dog rescue station. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, helping them recover and find new homes. In fact, I rescued Badun myself from an abandoned construction site! She has traveled with me across three countries—Beijing to Tokyo, and now London. Badun is very calm and loves having new friends come to stay! Why Pick Me? • Patience & Behavioral Expertise: I have a "calm energy" and am highly observant of dog body language. Having worked with many rescues and puppies, I am incredibly patient with dogs and always willing to go the extra mile to help a dog feel safe. • Scientific Care & Respect for Routine: I believe in "Scientific Dog Raising" (Positive Reinforcement) and understand that a consistent routine is a dog's "safety net." My professional background makes me deeply responsible; I will follow your feeding, walking, and nap schedules with 100% accuracy. • Constant Companionship: Since I am currently based at home full time, I can provide your pet with constant attention and companionship. Your dog won't be left alone and will have my full focus throughout the day. I am currently preparing for my exams, which means I am home almost every day. This allows me to provide constant companionship and plenty of playtime for your dogs. I am very flexible with my schedule and can accommodate boarding during the week and on weekends, ensuring your pet is never left alone for long periods. I live in a secure environment in Wembley where your dog’s safety is my top priority. I have my own dog, Badun, who is very calm and friendly. Your pets can play and rest anywhere—the sofa, the bed, or in a crate if they prefer. There is a small garden and a dog-run area right below the apartment which is perfect for toilet breaks, and the neighborhood is very friendly for longer dog walks.

Diana was really accommodating to my 9 month old's needs during his first stay away from us, which is really important as he is a small dog with separation anxiety who probably did not find it easy being in a new place overnight. I received many videos during his stay which showed me how relaxed and settled in coco quickly became. I will definitely continue using Diana as coco's puppysitter as I'm sure he will enjoy his stay more and more each time.

Latte spent a week with Tun and David while we were on holiday. We had a meet and greet about a month before the boarding, they took the time to understand Latte’s needs and behaviour before and during the stay, and shared plenty of photos and updates regularly. She got plenty of playtime and exercises during her stay - we are so happy to see her having an amazing time! I also appreciate Tun sharing observations of Latte’s behaviour and adapting his approach to ensure Latte’s well-being. I’d be more than happy to have Latte stay with them again in the future.

She sent updates every single day - often more than once - with photos and reassurances that Coco was doing well. As an anxious cat mum, that meant everything to me while I was away. Having never left Bubba with a sitter before, I was quite nervous about finding the right person for him, especially as I’m constantly told he’s a bit needy and can be a handful! After meeting a couple of potential sitters, I immediately felt at ease with Meropi. She sent daily updates and photos, took him out on adventures, and just fitted him into her everyday life while still maintaining his usual routine. From the photos and updates, it was clear he was having the best time. He stayed for 5 nights and by the end of it he looked completely smitten with both Meropi and her partner! I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience and wouldn’t hesitate to leave Bubba with her again. Highly recommend ☺️
