Information Luciana P. would like to know about your pet

This section is crucial for safety (for you, Bella, and the guest pet). It shows that you are a responsible sitter who wants to be prepared for anything. Here is a professional way to list what you need to know: Important to Know in Advance To ensure your pet has the best possible stay and stays safe with Bella, please let me know the following: Socialization: How does your pet react to other dogs? Since Bella will be their roommate, it’s important they are comfortable with friendly Golden Retrievers! Health & Medication: Does your pet have any allergies, medical conditions, or daily medications I need to administer? Behavioral Quirks: Do they have any "triggers" (like thunder, doorbells, or bicycles)? Are they prone to "counter-surfing" or jumping on furniture? Dietary Needs: What is their feeding schedule, and are they allowed treats? (I want to make sure I don't upset their tummy!) Leash Manners: Do they have a strong prey drive or pull on the leash during walks? House Rules: Are they crate trained or used to sleeping in a specific spot at night?

A typical day

A Typical Day with Us Because I work from home, your pet’s day will be filled with company and a consistent routine. We follow a "life is better together" approach! Morning Energy: We start the day with a morning stretch and a potty break in our secure garden. After breakfast, Bella and our guest usually enjoy some light playtime or a short walk to get the wiggles out before "office hours" begin. Workday Companionship: While I’m at my desk, pets are welcome to snooze at my feet or lounge in their favorite sunny spot. I take regular "brain breaks," which means plenty of head scratches, belly rubs, and garden access throughout the day. Midday Fun: Lunchtime is for more active play! We head out to the garden for some fetch, sniffing around the grass, or just soaking up some sun. Evening Relaxation: After work, it’s time for a longer walk or more vigorous play. Once we’re back, the evening is all about winding down, cuddles on the rug, and making sure everyone feels relaxed and loved before bedtime. Fun Activities include: Interactive play and fetch in our fenced garden. Socialization and "zoomies" with Bella. Mental stimulation with treat puzzles or sniffing games. Plenty of one-on-one cuddle time!

Pet care experience

I have spent my entire life around dogs and have a natural bond with them. My background has taught me the importance of structure, safety, and attentive care. I am confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments—from energetic puppies who need consistent guidance to calm seniors who just want a quiet place to rest. I am highly disciplined with feeding schedules and exercise routines, ensuring your dog stays happy and healthy while you are away. What sets me apart is the constant companionship I offer. Since I work from home full-time, your dog will never be left alone and will receive plenty of 'office' cuddles and garden breaks. I have a friendly Golden Retriever named Bella who loves making new friends, and a fully fenced, secure garden for safe playtime. My focus is on providing a 'home away from home' where your dog is treated like family. Senior Care: Patient and gentle with older dogs who have mobility issues. Medication: Comfortable administering oral medications or following specific health routines. Puppy Support: Happy to reinforce basic training like 'sit,' 'stay,' and leash manners. Active Lifestyle: Enthusiastic about daily walks and interactive play to keep dogs mentally and physically stimulated.

Luciana is the most fantastic dogsitter I've ever had the pleasure to leave my pup with. Her Goldie Bella is so friendly and great with a younger energetic pup, and also matches another dog's more chill energy. I received frequent updates and communications, thanks so much!

Luciana looks after her own dog with so much love and care. I have also seen her with other rescue dogs that have suffered trauma. She is kind and loving and communicates with them really nicely. I couldn't think of a better person to look after your pet!

Luciana is amazing with pets! I have cats and dogs and they love her since she was here in Portugal, taking care of them. One of my dogs makes a happy dance when she sees her. It is really lovely. She is kind and thoughtful, and thinks about their well being

I met Luciana six years ago when I fell in love with her puppy, Bella! Bella is the happiest dog I have ever met, and that comes from not only great training, but most of all, love and care. It is very rare to meet someone as dedicated to dogs as Luciana, and I feel very privileged to know her. There is always another dog or two at Luciana’s place because every dog owner in the neighbourhood knows they can trust her to treat their pets as if they were her own. I have personally trusted Luciana to look after my very spoiled dog because I know she is one of the few people truly capable of understanding him and being patient with him
