It all started when a friend planned to board their cat whilst they went on holiday and I couldn’t bear the thought so I offered to take him in. I live alone and the quiet company was perfect. Since then, word’s spread and I’ve cared for a few more. Honestly… it’s not enough 😅 I’d love a cat of my own one day but for now, sitting helps scratch the itch. I work from home, so your cat will have plenty of calm, consistent company. My approach is pretty relaxed. I let cats settle in on their own terms. Being in a new space can be stressful, so I give them freedom and space to just be. I’m not strict (my one rule is no clawing at furniture)… they’re on holiday too, after all! That said, I’ve had owners tell me their cats come back more well behaved. No idea how, but I’ll take it!

Helin was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Coco! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves cats. Coco settled in with her so quickly, and seeing her updates, photos, and videos every day completely put me at ease while I was away. She gave him so much love and attention, and even went above and beyond by getting him a new toy — which he’s now obsessed with 🥰🐾. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Thank you so much, Helin, for taking such amazing care of my boy. Highly, highly recommend! 💛
Helin did a wonderful job of looking after my 2 cats. She was super communicative sending updates, photos and videos which I really appreciated.
Helin has taken care of my senior cat on several occasions. She is always flexible with drop off and pick up times, my cat has always been happy and well cared for when in her presence. She provides regular updates on how he is doing and what he is getting up to and always makes sure he has a unique and special experience when staying with her. As I have a senior cat, he requires a lot of care and attention, particularly since losing his hearing but I always feel like I can safely leave my cat in Helin's hands. In the 17 years I have had my cat, she has been our most reliable sitter and Helin is always the first person we call when we need a sitter and I wouldn't think to go with anyone else.

I work from home 4 days of the week. I also an doing a masters so am often home on weekends too. So your cat will have all the company they need.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a fairly minimalist flat so there aren’t any hazards. I usually leave out toys that the cat arrives with (or any that I happen to buy) so the cat has a stimulating environment. There are plenty of spots (under the bed or ontop of the fridge) for cats to go if they want alone time. I live alone so there aren’t too many new people for the cat to adjust to.
A typical day
A typical day of a cat sitting looks like being woken up with a cat on on your face. Having breakfast. I work whilst the cat naps, sometimes they take an interest in my work and will join in on meetings or chase the mouse as I type away. During lunch and after work we have a cuddle. And eat dinner. In the evenings we run about to get the zoomies out of our system (I had one cat that played hide and seek 😅)
