Atena was an exceptional cat sitter, we were genuinely blown away. Her communication was fantastic, with regular updates and photos that were both reassuring and a joy to receive. It was clear the cats absolutely adored her, which meant a lot to us. We’d happily book her again if she’s available. She also left the flat spotless, which we really appreciated.

About: I've looked after a variety of animal species in zoo and teaching settings and have 7 years of experience. Growing up with dogs and cats I'm able to adapt to their needs and make sure they have a fun time in my care :). Avaliable for most days Monday to Sunday and am currently studying conservation 3 days a week. I live within the local area so multiple visits or walks in one day would be very doable. I have a fenced garden over 2 metres high and know the local area very well for safe walks as previously owned a dog in this area. With my previous knowledge caring for animals any routines and essential care for your pet would be followed through.

About: Over the past 18 months, we have completed more than 30 pet sits together through TrustedHousesitters in the UK. We have 18 five-star (all 5stars) reviews on Nikita’s account and 16 on Olga’s. We used separate accounts during our first year, before TrustedHousesitters introduced the Duo Sitters feature. We have cared for cats and dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities. We are calm, organised and reliable, and we follow feeding, walking, medication and household instructions carefully. We are also easy to communicate with and are happy to send regular photos and updates. As we both work remotely, we spend most of the day at home. This means pets usually have plenty of company, attention and time to settle into a comfortable routine with us. Nikita is a game developer, and Olga runs a software company focused on mobile apps. We work hard on our own projects and have very few calls, which makes us flexible. In the past, Olga was a Head of Product in a corporation, managing a product with 80 million MAU and a team of 30 people. We genuinely enjoy having animals around while we work. Our service can include feeding, dog walks, playtime, litter tray cleaning, basic medication, watering plants, collecting post and keeping the home clean and tidy. We are comfortable with both cats and dogs, including larger dogs, and can discuss caring for other animals depending on their needs. We can also rent a car when the location or pet’s routine requires one. We are mainly looking for longer house sits with a good, reliable Wi-Fi connection. We started pet sitting because we enjoy travelling, experiencing new places and spending time with animals. After several last-minute cancellations on TrustedHousesitters, we decided to offer pet sitting as a paid side business. We genuinely enjoy the experience and want to continue doing it more regularly. Within the UK :) Happy to show 30+ 5-stars reviews from another pet-sitters platform :) Rover doesn't allow to place here the links My partner and I are software professionals and both work full-time remotely, so we spend most of our time at home and keep a very steady daily routine. We usually get up around 8 to 9am. If we are caring for a dog, we normally do a morning walk between 8 and 10am, and a second walk in the early evening, usually between 5 and 7pm. We work in the local time zone and usually go to bed around 11pm. Our routine is fairly consistent every day. Occasionally I may go to Imperial College London for my MBA, or to a meeting with other software professionals in London, but we rarely go out together, so one of us is usually at home. We only care for pets in the owner’s home, as we do not have a permanent place where we can host pets ourselves. This means your pet can stay in their familiar environment, with their usual routine, smells, toys and sleeping spots. We always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walks, medication, doors, leads, garden access and any specific house rules. We are calm, tidy and respectful guests, and we keep owners updated so they know their pet and home are safe.

About: I’ve taken care of cats since 2014, so I am very familiar with feeding, bathing, combing and cuddling my dear feline friends. I’m also great at deep cleaning litter trays and food bowls! I’m working full-time, but since only work from 8am to 4pm, I will be available anytime after 4pm on weekdays! On weekends I’m usually free. I’m an excellent treat giver, can prepare meals if needed. I’m also a cuddle expert who has very gentle manners. No sudden movements which would startle feline friends. Providing quiet and meaningful attention is my goal! I’m also great at deep-cleaning litter trays, water bowls and food plates.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life; cats, dogs, rodents, birds, reptiles, you name it! This means I've developed a huge love for all animals and adore spending time with them! I have some experience with administering medications for dogs and guinea pigs, and also dealing with nervous/anxious dogs. I am now able to offer services full time around my regular clients and my own dog, please do enquire as my schedule changes weekly! I cannot currently provide boarding for cats and dogs from my own home due to space, however I am able to board smaller animals such as rodents. Although my own dog is friendly, they would be kept in a separate space with the door closed to ensure they are safe. When caring for pets in your home, I try to keep to their routine as much as I can to make sure they are as comfortable and happy as possible.

I was initially a bit anxious about leaving my dogs and house with a stranger, but Ayesha is lovely and was the perfect dog/housesitter! We arranged to meet prior to her looking after the dogs. Bailey and Luna liked her straight away, which was very reassuring. Apart from a slight misunderstanding on timings on the first day, everything went really well. Ayesha sent photo and video updates and even a few voice notes. She stripped the bed, hoovered the house and even put the heating on. We came back to a warm, clean house and 2 happy dogs. Thanks Ayesha; I'll certainly be in contact with you again.😊

About: What sets me apart is how personal I make every dog’s care. I don’t just watch dogs, I build a bond with them. I take time to understand each pup’s personality, routine, and quirks so they feel safe, loved, and genuinely happy. I keep owners updated with photos and messages, so you always know your dog’s in good hands. With years of experience and a calm, caring approach, I treat every dog like they’re my own. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I plan my schedule around walk times, feeding, and play, so every dog gets consistent attention and care throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, checking on food during the day or evening cuddles, there’s always time for your pup. In my home, dogs get a safe, clean, and relaxed space where they can play, rest, and feel comfortable. I stick closely to their normal routines so same feeding times, walk lengths, and any rules the owner sets. When I’m caring for pets in their owner’s home, I make sure to respect the space and follow all instructions carefully also keeping things tidy and ensuring the dog feels secure in their familiar environment. Either way, every dog gets plenty of love, attention, and regular updates sent to their owner.

About: I’d love my own pet but unfortunately not in the place to have one of my own - this doesn’t stop me from giving love to others’ pets! I've taken care of dogs growing up. I had my own. I have now had my own cat for 5 years, and absolutely adore her. I love to take the pups outside for a walk, or to the dog park. However, I'm a sucker for some good cuddles too! I'm currently working as a trainee solicitor. My hours and days are quite flexible, spending time working hybrid and studying from home for my bar. I am located close to public transportation, therefore commute to different areas of the city is easy. I am a very gentle and respectful person, therefore I would take care of the home in which I am caring for the furry friend. I am certain to make sure the animals get the required care. I love being active so multiple walks is not a problem.

We left our cat with Tetiana for the second time, and once again, we couldn’t have asked for better care. ❤️She took such wonderful care of him, and it was clear that her whole family genuinely loved having him around. Bilqis was an absolutely wonderful cat sitter! She was an incredibly clear and timely communicator throughout the entire stay, sending regular updates so we never had to worry. She stayed in our house and left everything spotless and tidy when we returned — you'd never even know someone had been there. It's obvious Bilqis genuinely loves cats and cares deeply about their wellbeing. She was so attentive and put in real effort to bond with our cat, Dex (our adopted rescue), showing patience and understanding the whole time. This was our first time using a sitter for him, and she made the experience so much easier for us as first-timers. Bilqis was super responsive whenever we reached out, and it was clear she truly cared about Dex's comfort and safety throughout the stay. We'd book her again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and genuinely cat-loving sitter!

15th - 21st August. What a star! Five stars do not do him justice. He cared for my dogs and cats exceptionally well and they all look in fabulous condition. I’m sure they are going to miss him! FAQs for House Sitting – Wembley

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Wembley on Rover is £36.8 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of September 2026, there are 16,866 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wembley. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Wembley walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wembley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
