Ingryd was great while taking care of Zack for 9 days while we were away. She was prompt and active with updates, responses and photos. She also is a very nice human being which made us really like her throughout the time we were away and we felt Zack was safe. I highly recommend her if anyone’s looking for a great pet sitter while they’re away.

Atena was an exceptional cat sitter, we were genuinely blown away. Her communication was fantastic, with regular updates and photos that were both reassuring and a joy to receive. It was clear the cats absolutely adored her, which meant a lot to us. We’d happily book her again if she’s available. She also left the flat spotless, which we really appreciated.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life; cats, dogs, rodents, birds, reptiles, you name it! This means I've developed a huge love for all animals and adore spending time with them! I have some experience with administering medications for dogs and guinea pigs, and also dealing with nervous/anxious dogs. I am now able to offer services full time around my regular clients and my own dog, please do enquire as my schedule changes weekly! I cannot currently provide boarding for cats and dogs from my own home due to space, however I am able to board smaller animals such as rodents. Although my own dog is friendly, they would be kept in a separate space with the door closed to ensure they are safe. When caring for pets in your home, I try to keep to their routine as much as I can to make sure they are as comfortable and happy as possible.

About: Hi! I’m Soryia, a lifelong animal lover with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I grew up with dogs and cats, and animals have always been an important part of my family. I currently have cats of my own, and I spent 13 wonderful years caring for my beloved dog, giving me experience with every stage of a pet’s life, from playful younger years to providing extra care as they grow older. Over the years, I’ve also looked after pets for family, friends and neighbours while they were away, including feeding, walking, playing with them, cleaning up after them, and making sure they felt safe, comfortable and loved. I’ve even cared for rabbits, so I’m happy looking after different types of pets. I know that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I always take the time to understand what makes them feel happiest. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, which is why I’ll always care for them as if they were my own. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos, follow your instructions carefully, and do everything I can to make sure both you and your pet feel relaxed and reassured. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! Caring for pets fits easily into my daily routine, and I always make time to give them the attention they deserve. I’m flexible and happy to adapt to your pet’s usual schedule, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, administering basic care, or simply keeping them company. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel safe, comfortable and happy while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos for your peace of mind. Your pet’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs, so I’ll carefully follow your instructions and make sure they receive the same love, patience and attention they’re used to at home. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or taking them out for walks, I’ll always provide a calm, safe and caring environment. I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family and always aim to build a trusting relationship with both pets and their owners.

I was initially a bit anxious about leaving my dogs and house with a stranger, but Ayesha is lovely and was the perfect dog/housesitter! We arranged to meet prior to her looking after the dogs. Bailey and Luna liked her straight away, which was very reassuring. Apart from a slight misunderstanding on timings on the first day, everything went really well. Ayesha sent photo and video updates and even a few voice notes. She stripped the bed, hoovered the house and even put the heating on. We came back to a warm, clean house and 2 happy dogs. Thanks Ayesha; I'll certainly be in contact with you again.😊

About: I’ve had many types of pet including both dogs and cats. My beloved dog Totem, who I had since he was a puppy, died last year age 17. My family and I missed having a dog terribly, so we have recently re-homed a lovely rescue called Leonard! Having had puppies, rescues and also nursing old ones, I’m experienced with dogs young and senior, energetic and more tired out! Happy to walk, or just keep dogs company and take care of the feeding etc. I study and work both part and remotely so am flexible to your schedule and needs. I’m currently working part-time in the late afternoons, so I’ll have lots of time free during the working day to hang out with your pets if you need some company for them while you’re working! Anytime before 3:30 Monday-Friday. Having walked my own dog on and off lead for 13 years, I’m very comfortable and confident keeping dogs safe on a walk. I’m also used to keeping other indoor pets safe having had a cat and hamsters.

I have also provided pet care services through different providers and so I have some experience in caring for dogs Although I do have a full time job, I work 4 days a week and I am free all day from Saturdays to Mondays. From Tuesdays to Fridays I am available from 6:00pm. I am not able to provide pet care services in my own home at the moment as the house where I live is not suitable for dogs. I am happy to provide pet sitting services in a pet owner’s home and will make sure to follow any guidance from the owner.

About: I’d love my own pet but unfortunately not in the place to have one of my own - this doesn’t stop me from giving love to others’ pets! I've taken care of dogs growing up. I had my own. I have now had my own cat for 5 years, and absolutely adore her. I love to take the pups outside for a walk, or to the dog park. However, I'm a sucker for some good cuddles too! I'm currently working as a trainee solicitor. My hours and days are quite flexible, spending time working hybrid and studying from home for my bar. I am located close to public transportation, therefore commute to different areas of the city is easy. I am a very gentle and respectful person, therefore I would take care of the home in which I am caring for the furry friend. I am certain to make sure the animals get the required care. I love being active so multiple walks is not a problem.

FAQs for House Sitting - Wembley

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Wembley on Rover is £37.95 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 16,507 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wembley. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Wembley walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wembley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
