“Zsuzsanna is a fantastic cat sitter! Great communication, regular updates with photos, videos, and excellent care throughout. It was clear our cat Oliver was content, comfortable, and well looked after. We felt completely at ease while we were away and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter. Thank you—we will definitely book again Dejana, Joe and Tallulah”

“Ingryd was great while taking care of Zack for 9 days while we were away. She was prompt and active with updates, responses and photos. She also is a very nice human being which made us really like her throughout the time we were away and we felt Zack was safe. I highly recommend her if anyone’s looking for a great pet sitter while they’re away.”

“Atena came to look after Frida for the second time and it was once again a wonderful experience. She is so warm and caring with her — they spent the evening playing and cuddling, and she kept me updated throughout with photos and videos, which is always so reassuring. Frida absolutely adores her. We will definitely be calling her again! 🐾”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life; cats, dogs, rodents, birds, reptiles, you name it! This means I've developed a huge love for all animals and adore spending time with them! I have some experience with administering medications for dogs and guinea pigs, and also dealing with nervous/anxious dogs. I am now able to offer services full time around my regular clients and my own dog, please do enquire as my schedule changes weekly! I cannot currently provide boarding for cats and dogs from my own home due to space, however I am able to board smaller animals such as rodents. Although my own dog is friendly, they would be kept in a separate space with the door closed to ensure they are safe. When caring for pets in your home, I try to keep to their routine as much as I can to make sure they are as comfortable and happy as possible.

“Bilqis did a great job house sitting, looking after our cat Laksa. Everything went smoothly, kept us updated and gave us peace of mind our cat was ok. Will be using Bilqis again in the future!”

“I was initially a bit anxious about leaving my dogs and house with a stranger, but Ayesha is lovely and was the perfect dog/housesitter! We arranged to meet prior to her looking after the dogs. Bailey and Luna liked her straight away, which was very reassuring. Apart from a slight misunderstanding on timings on the first day, everything went really well. Ayesha sent photo and video updates and even a few voice notes. She stripped the bed, hoovered the house and even put the heating on. We came back to a warm, clean house and 2 happy dogs. Thanks Ayesha; I'll certainly be in contact with you again.😊”

“Tenny has looked after Madge a few times now and has done a great job - she’s very knowledgeable about dogs, is always on time and always seems so happy to see Madge! Madge can be a little nervous around new people but took to her very quickly ☺️. We also had loads of updates and pictures, which was very reassuring. Would definitely recommend Tenny.”

About: I bring a lot of enthusiasm and care to my role as a dog sitter. I grew on a farm so I have experience with loads of different animals, we had 5 dogs when I was younger, rescued all of them; it was the most fulfilling experience. I've been taking care of dogs in the past years since I've moved in London and my love for animals is enormous so I wanna share it with yours too. I’ve looked after pets for family, friends, and clients, and I treat each one as my own. I send regular updates, follow care routines closely, and make sure your pet feels safe and loved. Whether it's going for long walks, playtime, or plenty of cuddles, I am dedicated to ensuring the happiness and well-being of every pet I look after (will send pictures frequently). I have a genuine love for animals and a commitment to building trusting relationships with both pets and their owners, I'm communicative and very extroverted, full of energy and compassion so message me and I promise, your dog will be on good hands. Will send updates, pictures and even video calls throughout the day - I want you to become a loyal and satisfied owner and I am here to help whenever I can. Please kindly note: I cannot offer house sitting during the work days (Mon - Fri), I am only available during weekend for that. Walks and home visit are available any day, home visits are available either early morning or after 18:00. I am excited to be your next sitter!!! ❤️ As all of us here I have a job that takes most of my time, but that doesn't mean I can't find space for your pet. I assure you I respect your schedule as much as I respect mine so I will always respond fast and if we plan a booking I will never cancel. My schedule is updated on a monthly basis on the app based on my schedule, holidays and extracurricular activities. Thank you for understanding! I will always look out over your dog as it is mine, no need to be stressed. We need to learn to treat animals in the way we would like to be treated and I will make sure it feels safe in my company and I also follow your regulations and rules inside the house. 😄

About: I was brought up with family dogs from the age of 5, I have owned various breeds and have extensive knowledge and experience in training / fostering and all aspects of dog & cat sitting. I am currently available 7days a week and can offer walking sitting and boarding at my home. I have no pets in the household or children and prefer to take 1 animal at a time in my home unless multiple are from the same household. I am currently not working and therefore I am able to dedicate full time to all aspects of dog sitting/ walking / training / dietary / play / routine building and providing lots of love. I have a 1st floor flat with the option of lift or stairs with a large private outside area and lots of parks on my doorstep. I like to meet the pets with their owners first ideally at my house as this helps with orientation and settling when they come to stay. Typically the morning begins with a toilet break, followed by breakfast and then a walk around the area with park play, afternoons in heat are shaded strolls / toilet breaks and again a long walk and park play during the evenings. I do work the routine around the needs of the dog depending on size / exercise needs / socialising skills and behaviour.

About: Animal lover here, with a spacious, smoker-free house with a private garden for some accompanied outdoor time! As I wfh, your pet will be well taken care of as I can provide regular exercise, attention and cuddles. I love both high energy and low energy dogs and am more than capable of looking after both types, and as we have the space for it, we accept up to 3 dogs/animals at a time. As I work from home, I'll be able to spend as much time as I can on pet care, with my sister also being based at home so we can give each animal, the attention they need. We're very much homebodies, so most weekends, we're chilling at home, watching tv, doing art, reading or playing games, baking - the works! However, we coordinate our schedules so that there will be someone at home with your furry companion :) My home and neighbourhood is very quiet and my house is smoker free. If I'm to have anyone around, I make sure that they are happy and comfortable with animals both everyone’s safety and comfort.

Zsuzsanna is a fantastic cat sitter! Great communication, regular updates with photos, videos, and excellent care throughout. We felt completely at ease while we were away and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter. Thank you—we will definitely book again Dejana, Joe and Tallulah

15th - 21st August. What a star! Five stars do not do him justice. He cared for my dogs and cats exceptionally well and they all look in fabulous condition. I’m sure they are going to miss him! Jesus watered my plants and outdoor flowers, everything clean and shiny, in my house. His organisational skills are far better than mine. Thank you so much James, for the thoughtful ‘welcome home’ gifts of bread, milk and fruit. Much appreciated after a long journey home. Would definitely ask him back, if I go away again. (If he’ll have us☺️)!
Marta was amazing! I asked her last minute to look after our 2 cats one of who had been unwell. She took amazing care of our cats and gave various medications with no issues. I got regular updates from Marta and complete peace of mind while away! I will definitely be asking Marta to cat sit again she was absolutely perfect! She also watered plants and left the house super clean and tidy! 10/10!

Xiwen looked after both of our cats for 5 nights wonderfully! Before booking her she set up the meet and greet, it was clear she had a lot of experience with animals which made us feel secure in our choice. While we were away she kept us posted with daily updates that gave us real peace of mind. Also we can tell she had a good impact on the cats as one of them likes a lot of attention. We would definitely have Xiwen look after our cats again.

Supritha did an amazing job looking after our dog Mollie and cat Maggie. They loved her from the start and were very happy in her company. She kept in contact with pictures and videos everyday and gave Mollie loads of outside time and played loads with her which she loves. We are so happy we found Supritha!

Hannah was incredible with our lady marmalade. Very attentive and loving towards her. She sent lots of photos which we loved. Marmalade was very happy and content when we got home. Hannah was very respectful of our home and marmalade’s needs. Can’t recommend her highly enough. Would book her again in a heartbeat …. Thanks Hannah.

Eloise was absolutely lovely! Firstly she came to my flat the day before she was meant to be sitting Miso, to meet her and see how things worked here. Then she took her for two walks, staying aware of the heat which I really appreciated. Then sending me plenty of pictures during the day and as she was leaving Miso sat next to her not wanting her to leave 🤣😊 would absolutely recommend Eloise.

Dom is an excellent dog sitter - he came to meet Lola a few weeks before the sit and she took to him immediately. We knew she was in safe hands and communication was great. We had daily updates and photos and we returned to a very chilled dog and the house was immaculate. We’re already trying to find future dates for Dom to return. Highly recommend.

Ingryd is absolutely amazing. We would recommend her to anyone as she takes wonderful care of not only our lovely kitten Socks but also our home! She was fabulous with Socks who already misses her a lot. We will definitely be booking her again as we have complete trust in her!!

We love Ben and Jack!! And our doggy Hugo does too! Hugo was extremely happy to see Ben again. He also cleaned all his sheets and tidied our house open exit. Sending daily updates and keeping us up to date was really nice and kept us feeling relaxed on our travels! We will be issuing them again for our July holiday… thank you so much for all your help

Maria is such a lovely, kind and caring person. She kept in touch and sent pictures of both our pets who seemed very happy and content in her company. Our house was clean and tidy when we returned too. We'd happily recommend Maria to house sit and would gladly have her sit for us again. Thank you Maria!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Wembley walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wembley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
