About: I am the friend my friends call on when they need their cat or dog taken care of. I love animals. I have had two cats, Figaro and Treble, and am now in the UK to study after spending most of my life in Canada. I am currently on the job-hunt after graduating from Cambridge. That means I have maximum flexibility to look after your furry family. I am an early riser in general, so happy to come by in the morning, afternoon, evening, or stay! I love looking after animals. I like taking my time to get to know a dog or cat, and generally try and ensure I spend some time hanging out in their space and letting them come to me. About: I've been house and pet sitting for 2 years and care for animals and homes like I would my own. I'm highly attuned to the needs and stresses of animals and do all I can to help them settle. I tend to be proactive rather than simply following a checklist. I like to understand each animal’s individual routine, personality and needs so they can be happy and healthy while their people are away. I have taken care of plenty of dogs and cats as well as snakes, horses, reptiles and farm animals. With dogs I tend to work best with are small to medium-large. I can work with larger dogs too based on energy levels, though I'm conscious of the fact that I can't always lift a large dog should it be required in an emergency. I am always happy to maintain training and will instil basic discipline around walks and feeding where required. With cats I often maintain routine while allowing them time and space to get comfortable with me. I rarely force my presence on an animal, just as I too appreciate my own time and space. I appreciate a thorough handover, particularly around household quirks, equipment, visitors and responsibilities beyond standard pet and house care. Once I understand the setup, I’m self-sufficient and appreciate a “no news is good news” approach unless something important arises. I’m best suited to calm or moderately active homes rather than high-chaos environments, and I value realistic expectations around responsibilities and cleanliness. Clean and safe environments help to set us all up for success. Clear communication and mutual respect go a long way; the more I understand before a sit, the better I can care for your home and animals without needing to contact you unnecessarily. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I enjoy spending time outdoors and am happy to structure my day around an animals’ needs, including walks, feeding, play, training and companionship. I’m flexible with my schedule and like to adapt my routine to suit each pet’s individual requirements, whether that means an active day of walks and enrichment or simply providing calm company. About: I live in Archway near Waterlow park. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for many years. As well as growing up with a family cat. I understand the daily needs of a pet. I love going for walks and I spend a lot of time around our local park and green spaces. I'm 28 and currently studying a masters so I often have free week days around my studies. About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life. Our family dogs included a Retriever (rescue), Chocolate Lab, Blue Staffy and Staffy-cross (rescue).
