Pet care experience
Animal lover hoping for extra pet companions
Hi all, I’m a 24 year old PhD student studying environmental science at UCL. I have two gorgeous boy cats at my family home who I’ve had since I was 11 and help raise from kittens including toilet training. I’ve had cats all my life at my family home and I miss having a furry friend living in my London flat so would love to show your pets a bit of love. I’m a massive animal lover in general and volunteer at London Zoo on the youth advisory board to encourage more youths to get involved in conservation. I’ve also volunteered as a well-being assistant at Guide dogs, sitting with dogs whilst they wait for training so am well accustomed to watching other people's pets. These dogs are around one year in age and often distressed when at the centre as apart from their owners, this has helped me gain experience in calming other people's dogs and trying to train out behaviours inappropriate for a guide dog. I also have 2 years of working as a bar supervisor and am responsible to locking up the building correctly so can be relied upon to keep your house safe.

Ratings and reviews
Emma was a wonderful sitter for us while we went abroad for two weeks. We were very anxious about leaving our cat for the first time and being away for so long, but Emma immediately set us at ease from the jump with her cheery disposition. At the meet and greet she asked questions that we hadn't even thought of and came across as knowledgeable and responsible. While we were away she kept up regular communication, providing videos and photos that reassured us that our girl was getting the best care. Emma looked after our flat well and dealt with some unexpected issues that had arisen just before we left. We had been worried about leaving our shy and somewhat anxious cat with someone new, but we returned to a happy cat who had settled in well with Emma while we'd been away which was more than we could've hoped for. We'd wholeheartedly recommend Emma to anyone looking for a reliable, responsible and caring housesitter and would utilise her services again in a heartbeat. Emma truly has a passion for pets and an understanding that all pets are different and have different needs and adapts accordingly. Thank you Emma, we can tell Tamsin misses you!

Emma is amazing! She house sat for us for 3 days to look after our two kitties and as an anxious cat-mum I always find travel very stressful, but she was wonderful! She sent frequent updates on how the cats were including photos and even our very shy cat who usually hides until we’re home came out to see and play with her, which speaks volumes! She also left the flat absolutely spotless! I cannot recommend her highly enough :)

Emma is a great dog sitter! Very responsive, she kept us updated throughout the day and made sure our dog had several walks. We would definitely have Emma stay and take care of our dog again!

Emma was great as always.

Emma is as good as it gets. Extremely good communicator, polite, attentive and our cat Peggy loves her.

Emma took wonderful care of our cat over a week of visits. A sometimes grumpy cat, with a general scepticism of strangers, was truly won over.
