Excellent! We were really impressed at how Dominika handled our high energy pup with such care. She took on board all our instructions, asked excellent questions, and updated us regularly. She also took such great care of our home leaving it perfectly tidy. We were comfortable knowing both our house and pup was safe. I would certainly book her again! A very professional and considerate candidate!

About: I grew up on a farm and I have cared for domestic animals most of my life. I have 2 Persian cats of my own who require significant maintenance due to their long hair and face shapes. I'm usually the go-to friend for pet advice as I enjoy learning about different breeds. In addition, I am currently taking cat grooming courses to allow me to better take care of long-haired cat. I currently work flexibly from home and fit petsitting around my schedule. I enjoy playing with pets and doting on them with cuddles if they like and allow it. I ensure all instructions from owners are followed explicitly. I can ensure cats/dogs are kept cool in hotter months and keep regular contact with owners where any issues arise. At every visit, I'll take and forward pictures and videos of your pet to put your mind at ease while you are away.

Kari is absolutely fantastic & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Kari looked after my lively staffy pup ‘Coda’ in my house while I went away and she was great. She took Coda on lovely long walks & sent me updates & pics while I was away. From my initial meeting with Kari I could tell she was an animal lover like myself & I knew straight away she was exactly the right person for what I was looking for. I felt relaxed being away from home knowing Coda & my house were in totally safe trustworthy hands. Thank you so much Kari, Coda can’t wait for you to come & stay again 😊 x

We did a house sitting stay and she left the house perfectly and our dog seemed to very much enjoy her time with Kirsty in the communications sent whilst we were away! I would definitely recommend.

About: I've looked after lots of wonderful dogs over the years, and one of my favourite things is getting to know their unique personalities. Every dog is different, from playful and energetic pups to gentle senior dogs and those who need a little extra patience because they're anxious or shy. I understand how important it is to tailor my care to each dog's individual needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while they're with me. I'm truly passionate about making sure every four-legged friend is loved, well cared for, and treated like part of the family when they're away from their owners. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care, and I always do everything I can to make them feel relaxed, secure, and loved. I'm always happy to chat about any specific routines, preferences, or needs your pup may have, and I look forward to making some new furry friends! I work from home three days a week, so when I'm available for pet care, your dog will enjoy plenty of company, attention, and regular breaks for walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. At weekends, I love exploring the local parks on long walks before relaxing in my little front garden - it's the perfect spot for a furry companion to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine alongside me. A day with me for your pet will always involve lots of love, care, and companionship. I live on my own in a cosy ground-floor flat with a secure garden, providing a calm and comfortable environment for your furry friend.

Pyrrha was just amazing with my anxious mini dachshund. He has separation anxiety. She was very comfortable and competent with taking care of him. When I got back he was calm and relaxed. She is kept my place tidy and clean which was much appreciated. I hope she can take care of him again, soon. She’s very kind and caring.

Katarzyna & her family were very welcoming to my young dog Toto & he was very happy staying with them, while I was out all day both days this weekend. I received lots of photos of what he was doing during the day which was very reassuring. This was important to me because I’m a new dog owner. Everything went according to plan and I had no worries which was brilliant. I hope to be able to entrust Toto again to Katarzyna soon!

Erin was just incredible with my two dogs - she looked after them for me at very short notice and I’ve never felt more reassured. I’ve had a few bad experiences with dog sitters recently and am generally anxious leaving my two, pretty difficult, large dogs with anyone, but Erin was so attentive, easy to communicate with, super flexible, and above all cared for them like they were her own. On our trip my friend and I spent the whole time saying what a gem she was. None of my dog’s behavioural quirks were too much for her or were met with any judgment, and I felt she was genuinely obsessed with them and went above and beyond, even bringing her own nose balm for my girl’s crusty nose and offering to bath them 🥹 The house was also super clean when I got back and I did a very poor job stocking the house and explaining where everything was but she brought her own stuff and didn’t seem to mind. Super duper recommend and will be booking again the first chance I get!!

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, chicken and any and all kinds of animals since I was around 8. But I've had my own dog since i was 12, i am more than experianced w animals! During times w no school I am free to attend to your pet's needs but when I'm back to uni that might change a bit unfortunately. When tending to a lovely pet's needs its important to consider its personality. Different animals needs different things! A reactive dog may need someone more authoritative, whilst a well trained and energetic dog may need someone whos able to ensure its well stimilated, reading pets is an important skill!

About: With 2 years of experience caring for a wide variety of pets, I bring not just love and attention, but also reliability and knowledge to every pet I care for. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs, including high-energy puppies! What sets me apart from other sitters is my calm, attentive approach and strong understanding of animal behaviour. I’ve successfully helped socialise anxious pets, provided gentle care for older dogs, and followed detailed routines to keep every pet feeling safe and happy. I’m comfortable with crate training, leash work, administering medication and any care based on your pet’s unique personality. Whether your dog loves long walks or just playful companionship, I adapt to provide the best experience possible. I’m currently working part-time during the week so I have flexibility to provide support based on your requirements - I work from home at times and can manage my diary around this. I have a fenced garden and access to a large outdoor area (unfenced) for lovely outdoor walks. I have plenty of room for a crate if this is what you’d like.

About: I’m an experienced and caring dog lover who spent 10 years looking after my own dog, who had ongoing allergy issues and later became completely blind due to glaucoma. Supporting him through his health challenges taught me patience, compassion, and how to give calm, attentive care to dogs with special needs. Since he passed last May, I’ve continued caring for friends’ dogs and discovered how much I enjoy spending time with doggies—playing, walking, and giving them lots of love. I’d be thrilled to join Rover and meet even more wonderful dogs to look after. Both my husband, Thanos and I work hybrid, and we arrange our schedules so your dog is never left alone and always has someone around for comfort, attention, and care. Your dog will have plenty of room to feel comfortable with us. Our large, fully fenced garden provides a safe space for playtime and outdoor fun, while our home is spacious, welcoming, and set up to make dogs feel relaxed and at home.

I am extremely pleased with the service from Georgia. She was very kind and came to meet us first. FAQs for House Sitting - Bromley

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Bromley on Rover is £40.25 per night (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 16,020 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bromley. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Bromley walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bromley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 87% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
